Prairie Dance (MystresMyna)
Prairie Dance
Her muslin dress dances,
a prairie tune plays.
Sunbeams plucked...
by westward winds,
keeping time...
with rolling waves
of brown grass.
The eastern horizon,
tosses flour sack clouds...
across the blue, black.
Heavy with anticipation...
eager to share their life.
Causing the the prairie tune,
pick up its tempo.
Her eyes fall, hidden...
Beneath her naked feet,
spins the earth,
through time and space.
The waning orange heat,
kisses her trusting face.
She is one with the universe.
