I fall asleep

every night

within the warm embrace

of your heart

I float

every morning

and swim under

every evening

of dreams and memories of you

I have told you everything

that needs to be said

I will tell you

what needs to be said tomorrow,

tomorrow

Let me not talk all the time

run my tongue over and over

when all I want is to

run my eyes over yours

The day I will not get to thumb

your hot eyelids

will mark the end of our tomorrows

but I can't see the tomorrows ending

because "end" is a dream

which I don't ever see

when I love you more than you do

when we are a child's dream sandcastle

when our sun has only just risen

I don't see the sun setting at the end of my dreams;

only bruised lips and rainbow eyes and roaming gazes
