*Your P.O.V.*
Sadly it looked like you need to make more than just some "minor adjustments" to your x-wing, the secondary engine had shorted out and the power generator might have been damaged. You trudged over to the hanger/garage. You sighed and then got to work. You had been working for about 15 minutes when you heard someone else.

"Hello?" You called uncertainly.
"Sorry, I didn't know anyone else was here" you heard a shy voice say.

You slid out from under you x-wing and stood up to see a timid looking girl-probably a mechanic.

"I'm y/n you said with a friendly smile.
"Um.. I'm Rose" she said a little timidly.

But before you could get any farther a certain pilot decided to interrupt....

"Y/n! Is that you?" Poe asked barging in.
"Woah...that's.....woah" You heard Rose whisper.
"Yes of course it's me Poe" you say dryly. Rose's eyes go wide as she says

"You know him"
"Well yes, in a way, I guess after saving someone's life you technically know a person" you say with a sigh staring Poe down. Rose looks between you two still not believing her own eyes.
"Listen y/n I've been looking everywhere for you, we're needed at the bridge-and before you ask I don't know why but we have to go" Poe says

You turn to Rose
"Hey um would you mind fixing the-" but you get cut off when Rose says
"Secondary eninge"
"How did you know" you ask a little suspiciously but also amused.
"I have my ways" she says with a small smile
"I also assume you want the power generator checked" she added
"That would be great, thanks Rose" you say as you start towards Poe.
"What's so important that you couldn't be bothered to send a warning" you said icily.
"I know as much as you do, I received a message to get you and get to the bridge as soon as possible" Poe said breaking into a sprint.
"From who?" You asked breathlessly catching up to Poe.
"Leia" Poe said speeding up.
"But she'd never do something like that unless....." you said shooting Poe and anxious glance.
"That's what I'm afraid of" said Poe as you rounded the corner and ran into the cruiser.
"Genral Leia" you both called as you ran breathless into the bridge.
What's wro-" you stopped the minute you saw her face stricken with grief.
"Han Solo.......is dead" she said with tears in her eyes.
