im v pissed

so here i am just casually reading kagehina fics because i'm complete and utter trash

anyways what happened is i was reading and the first chapter is informing you that hinata is transgender in the story and i was all like " hell yes please " but then something happened

they used she/her pronouns on him

the whole idea of the story is that hinata is ftm and you're here using female pronouns for him

liKe what

it's hard to really explain

the author was all like she's biologically a girl so i'm going to use she/her pronouns for her

in the story hinata says that " i'm a girl so use she/her pronouns. " but like

this is not transgender 

far fucking from it

everyone is like " omg love the trans hinata idea. " and it's not even trans

like the author literally says that hinata is transgender in the fic meaning he was assigned female and birth but feels like a male and see himself as a boy

and yet you have the character themselves say they're a girl, like what?

this person is spreading incorrect information on a touchy subject 

what's worse is i'm pretty sure in their bio they have " they/them. " as their pronouns

like you're trying to tell me you're in the lgbtq+ community and you don't have a basic understanding of transgender

i personally think a better way to put it would have been cross dresser hinata, or has to pretend to be a boy hinata for whatever fucking reason

because there was no bloody explanation as to why " she " is forced to look like a boy at school

the way they describe the whole situation is a lot like ouran also the fic was based off a ouran fic so it makes sense but still

i'm confused and pissed
