-Chapter 19-

~Skylar’s POV~

“What’s up Rix?!” I did a handshake with blonde, brown and black sprinkled haired twenty-one year old dude that had light green eyes. He had tan skin and was maybe six one. His clothes consisted of some Converse, a black Saosin shirt and a pair of white skinny jeans with a black and green checkered seat buckle belt.

“Yo Sky! What’s up man, it’s been awhile.”

I nodded, leading him up the stairs towards my room where mostly everyone was.

“Yeah, you’re like the last to get here.”

“How many are there?”

“Like twenty dude. All from thirteen to freaking twenty-four.” I winked at him and he rolled his eyes.

“I know Hix is here. We’re on friend terms since he apologized for screwing up my software.”

“What about Blukeon?”

“What?! You actually got him here?! He doesn’t do anything other than study!” He exclaimed, his cheeks blushing slightly. Oh yeah, who’s got the crush on Bluky!

“I persuaded him with a little extra help by hacking the professor’s computer and getting all the information for the term.” I replied, waving a hand.

“Dude, you’re a conniving little bitch.” He chuckled, patting my back and I smirked as I opened the door to my room. I blinked as I saw Izzy, Yuki, Izaya and Storm all running around the room after Akuma yelling insults while Akuma was trying hard not to trip by how hard he was laughing. Hanna was sitting on the stairs near the bed part of the room. Jack, Drake and Ryan were on the beanbags playing the Xbox and Blukeon and Hix were on the left corner desk surfing on my second laptop and one of the desktops.

Hix was a Latino with spiky black hair, black rimmed glasses and usually wore a lab coat. Why? Because he said it made him feel smarter.

Blukeon was Italian. He had pale skin, an accent, and red hair that went over his right eye. His eyes were different colors. One hazel and the other blue-gray. Plus add in the six pack, hot looks and….well, yeah, he was just hot. So was Rix but between both of them and Hix….Yeah, Blukeon wins.

Then there was Jack’s twin sisters that were both thirteen and Drake’s brother who was fifteen. Ryan had brought his fifteen year old brother and his thirteen year old sister. Hanna brought two of her friends-Fiona Wolf and Miza Univac-that were nineteen and seventeen. So….three thirteen year olds, two fifteen year olds, a twenty-four year old, twenty-two year old, twenty-one year old, nineteen year old, two eighteen year olds, four seventeen year olds, a sixteen year old and four fourteen year olds.

“Alright….what do we do?” I questioned, flopping down on Drake and Jack’s lap. My head on Drake’s and the rest on Jack’s. I rested my feet on Ryan’s lap and all three of them frowned down at me.

“Shouldn’t you know?” Hix questioned, raising an eyebrow. I snorted.

“Please! I’ve never even been to a party!”

“Really?” All the college guys questioned and I nodded. I looked over at the fourteen year olds as they finally tackled Akuma to the ground and started attacking him.

I looked up at Drake. He was…..huh….he was hot too. I did a quick scope around the room. Hot damn, everyone’s hot. Hehe….sweet. Except for Izzy. That’s just bleh….yeah, I no do incest.

 “Drake?”

“Hm?”

“You go to parties, what happens?”

“The parties I go to everyone is shit-faced and high.” He replied, his eyes never leaving the screen. Everyone looked at him surprised except for his brother: Leo. He had dyed red hair with black tips and his eyes were a hazel color that looked gold a lot of the times. He had tan skin and was already as tall as me.

I’m a midget compared to the guys. Dammit. Well, except Izaya. But he’s three years younger and Japanese….

“I thought you didn’t drink.” His brother commented, petting my cat while he leaned against the cat house.

“I don’t. Anymore….” A sheepish look flashed across his face then he covered it up with a smirk, focusing on the screen.

I turned my head to look up at him again and slowly stretched my arm up, poking his cheek. He scowled, glancing down at me but didn’t do anything and continued tapping his fingers on the Xbox controller.

“Who’s bored?” I questioned, flopping my head back along with my hand.

“Me.” Everyone chorused.

“Mm….who wants to play manhunt?”

“Me!” Everyone said together again. Except for Izaya.

He looked at me, confused. “What’s manhunt?”

“It’s a game. Kinda like hide and seek but at dark.” I replied, moving my feet off Ryan so he could get up and grabbing Jack’s hand so I could first sit then stand up. I pulled him up to his feet and then helped Drake up.

“What’s the perimeter?” Akuma asked as we all headed down the stairs.

“Hm….maybe from the stage to the woods limit to the front driveway. And we’ll have three people as the seekers since there is twenty one of us and it’s a big area.”

After everyone agreed and he had a quick rock-paper-scissors contest for who would be the seekers, we all split up while Izzy, Drake and Fiona stood, waiting for their phones to tell them when two minutes was up. that was the given time to hide.

I paused for a second, thinking of all the hiding places and then nodded, setting off to the right. Soon I was at the tree line of the woods in our yard and I slipped in quietly. The limit was five feet in so I looked around quickly then nodded, rubbing my hands together before climbing it quickly.

When I was about fifteen feet up I scooted out onto a branch and relaxed, my back lying against the trunk. Good thing I was wearing black jeans and a black shirt. Why? Because that way no one could see me. Duh.

I saw a white streak and looked up. It looked like Fiona found Hix and he was running.

I heard a twig snap followed by a whispered cuss and looked down. Izaya was standing there, his back pressed against the tree below me and I smirked when I saw Izzy approaching him with a glint in her eyes.

“Um….Bell….could you maybe not see me for twenty seconds?” He asked sweetly, shooting her a smile. Izzy paused for a second and I blinked. Bell? Well that’s a new one.

“No.” She replied and Izaya sighed.

“Alright, whatever. Tag me.” He shrugged, looking up then let out a gasp as Izzy tackled him to the ground. I blinked then smirked evilly, taking out my phone and started video-taping them immediately. Payback biatch.

I watched as they started making out and unlike most brothers I just kept recording, not even bothering to pull them apart when Izzy was straddling him and they were both moaning.

“What the fuck are you two doing?!” Drake yelled. He was about twenty feet away.

Izaya broke apart for a quick second, going to Izzy’s throat as she answered. “I tagged him with my lips.”

“….did you at least find other people already?”

“Yeah. Yuki, Hanna, Akuma, Blukeon and Storm.” She answered, waving him away as Izaya met his lips with hers again.

Drake sighed, looking down at the two then looked up. I saw his eyes widen as they went over where I was and I froze, keeping completely still.

“Skylar, I see you.” He said, his eyes narrowing. Izzy shot up, wide-eyed.

“What did you just say?” She looked around widely while I hurriedly stopped the recording and put my phone away once I saw it saved.

“There, in the tree. He just had his phone out.” Drake answered, pointing at me.

“What?! Skylar! Get your ass down here!” Izzy yelled. Izaya was still lying on the ground, propped up by his elbows.

“Never! Besides, you fail at climbing trees so ha!” I stuck my tongue out at her and then gulped when Drake smirked, speaking.

“But I can.”

“Oh shit!” I jumped up, grabbing a hold of the branch above me and started climbing higher as Drake started after me.

“Stop running!” He grunted, now on the branch where I was laying. I was twice as high now.

“No!”

“You’re going to either fall or run out of tree!”

“No I won’t!” I replied, jumping from the branch I was standing on to the one across it that was located in another tree. This time I just kept going across until by the time Drake was in the second tree I was in the fourth.

Then I decided to climb down, jumping easily and by the time I was on the ground he had figured out my tactic and was trying to climb down without getting hurt. As soon as my feet touched the ground, I bolted.

“Hey!”

“Hay is for horses!”

“Tsk, tsk, tsk. Haven’t you learned that I’m the most awesome person ever?” I sighed, smiling at Drake as he glared at me with crossed arms.

“No you’re not.”

“Tell me again how you made yourself bleed?”

“Shut up! It was those stupid leaves!” He growled, trying to swat my hand away as I dabbed the cuts on his face with disinfectant.

“Drake, you failed. Admit it.” Akuma teased as he leaned against the doorway to my bathroom. After an hour and a half of Drake chasing me he had finally collapsed, breathing heavily. His face was bleeding from cuts from him trying to chase me in the trees and everyone else had already been caught and given up. Now we were all back in my room, eating unhealthy food, playing video games and a few people had grabbed the extra like seven comforters from my closet and spread them on the ground so everyone could sleep there or wherever. Izzy and Izaya had already crashed together while Yuki and Storm was beating Hix’s and Blukeon’s asses on the Xbox.

Fiona, Hanna and Miza were painting each other’s nails. Rix, Ryan and Jack were playing my PS3 on the touch screen TV monitor thing at my desk with Leo and Compton (Ryan’s brother). Jack’s two sisters (Lucy and Jade) along with Ryan’s sister (Olive) were rooting for Yuki and Storm as they played Halo.

“I did not.” Drake scoffed, wincing as I wiped the blood off a cut under his eyes. That was the last one so I nodded at him. He refused bandages.

“Dammit! This fucking thing!”

Drake got up from where he sat on the counter, following Akuma and I as we looked out. It was Leo cursing at it while Compton was glaring.

“What is it?” I questioned.

“This stupid thing!” Leo replied, pointing at the huge Tyrannosaurus Rex that was chomping down on their bodies on the screen.

“Oh, him. Can you not kill him or something?” I asked and Compton nodded. I looked him over curiously. He seemed all calm but his light brown eyes were sparking with annoyance. He had dark brown hair and tan skin like Ryan. He looked really cute as well. Like a little puppy. Awh, so cute~!

“He won’t die! I fucking throw a grenade and nothing! Zip! Nada!” Leo raged.

“You guys are cute.” I chuckled, taking the remote from him as the T-Rex came up again and with one bullet killed it. Both of their eyes widened, their mouths dropping open.

“How the hell did you do that?!” Leo demanded, staring at the screen in awe.

“I created it.” I replied, smirking and handed him back the remote to which they both dazedly playing again.

“Stop fucking killing me.” I heard Blukeon growl and looked over at him. He was glaring at the screen, pressing buttons rapidly while Storm was smirking. Yuki’s eyes were darting around the screen, most likely trying to figure out everyone’s location. She was like me. We had the map memorized.

“Skylar, dude, this is your college friend from your dad’s work? Shouldn’t he know the games by now?” Storm chided, smirking wider while Blukeon growled. I looked at the screen, seeing she’s killed thirty people by now. Damn this girl was good. No one had killed her yet.

“I see you’re talkative when video games are involved.” That was the longest thing she’s said. She nodded, not even panicking as she got stuck in a corner.

“I play all the time. My brothers play a lot so….I either learn to win or I get mocked. I chose to win.” She said simply, killing Blukeon and Hix with one simple shot. They both threw their controllers, spitting cusses as the time ran out.

“And you, Yuki?” I questioned, seeing that she had gotten fifteen kills and only had been killed twice.

“You know me, Sky.” She replied, smiling as she crawled to the Xbox, putting Black Ops in instead, smirking.

“Now….Sky, you’ve got to let us watch you and Akuma online.

“Why?” I rolled my eyes and she smiled.

“Because I wanna see. Don’t you guys own like twenty of every game console? We could all play.”

“Well….,” I sighed as everyone gave me a pleading look. Even Izzy and Izaya since they had woken up when the Halo game ended. “Fine! I have everything in the sanctum. I’ll stay up here, everyone else go to the sanctum. Well, no, one can stay here since I have that hooked up.” I waved my hand at the TV/monitor.

“I will.” I blinked as Storm headed for the desk, her eyes gleaming then rolled my eyes and everyone shuffled after Akuma down the slide.

“So….you really created a lot of these games?” Storm asked as we waited for the Xbox to load.

“Yeah.”

“Dude, do you know how many people must respect you?!”

I chuckled. “Quite a few I’m guessing. Though parents probably curse my name.”

“Probably,” She chuckled, picking her weapons, “I know mine do.”

“That’s nice.” I sighed, rolling my eyes as I spawned to my usual spot in the jungle.

*cough* wait….did I just bag on my own story? I’m such a pessimistic lol.

Whose view should it be? Should I put in something from Taru? (my friend hates him lol) or maybe Drake? Jack? Oh, no, wait, not the last one. Jack’s just an idiot.

Me: How many times do we have to go through this? Should I give Sky a freaking flamethrower?!
Jack: ….never mind, I’m an idiot.
Me: *pats his head* good boy.

Oh, and sorry for the wait, my internet was out for like....what, five days? Lol. Trust me, it was a pain. Anyway, he's chapter nineteen! I have chapter twenty completed while I type this but I'm not gonna post it yet. Why? Because I like to stay a chapter ahead of where all of you are. And I still haven't wrote Chapter 21 yet :P
Blame school. And this one annoying guy. And my friends. And LEGOLAND!!!! Lol, I went there yesterday (which is why this is posted a day later than promised) and then once we got back I fell asleep, woke up and remembered I had to watch Bleach at midnight and then fell back asleep to wake up at SEVEN A.M.!!!! I missed Bleach, Durarara!!, Fooly Coolly (already saw the entire series), Cowboy Bebop (saw the entire series three times) and Full Metal Alchemist! I think! Last Saturday the series ended so I'm not sure lol. Whoa. I look back at this and daaaaaamn I talk a lot o.O
Who saw Lion King 3D? Lmao, I saw it last weekend and it was amazing. Now I wanna see Happy Feet Two in 3D! Okay, peace x3
