jungkook groaned as he collapsed onto his bed. his poor baby was destroyed, and he felt like crying. him and that camera had gone through a lot, seeing it in pieces broke his heart into a billion more pieces. jungkook felt weak, but he continued to cry over his lost camera anyways.

namjoon could hear the crying loud and clear from the other room. he was worried, so he quietly flew into the younger's room to check on him.

he saw jungkook laying on his stomach, face stuffed into his crossed arms as his shoulders shook from the sobbing.

namjoon felt like it was his fault the younger was like this, but deep down jungkook knew it wasn't. it's really not the end of the world, what jungkook is upset about the most isn't the camera. it's disappointing his fans.

namjoon flew to jungkook, standing on the bed near his head.

"i'm sorry, kook-ah," namjoon apologized, cringing at jungkook's red eyes and tear stained cheeks.

"don't look at me," jungkook said weakly, covering his head with a pillow.

namjoon sighed gently, using some of his fairy dust to lift the pillow up from jungkook and throw it across the room.

"wah!! how'd you do that?!" jungkook shot up in surprise, staring with stars in his eyes at namjoon's magic trick.

"fairy dust," namjoon chuckled at the boy's reaction.

jungkook sat up on his bed, cross-legged, as if he was waiting for namjoon to do something.

"here... you stay here and i'll make you a tea, alright?" namjoon smiled as the younger nodded obediently.

jungkook put his phone down when he heard a struggling fairy trying not to tip the cup over with his fairy magic.

"i didn't know how you liked your tea, so i brought sugar and milk," namjoon shyly admitted, placing everything he brought on a tray and onto the table.

"thanks, joonie," jungkook grinned, sniffing before pouring some sugar and milk in his tea.

"you're welcome!" the fairy yelled, doing a cute spin before sitting on the table.

jungkook sat at the table with his tea, carefully looking over this whole situation. what would his friends think? could he tell anyone? does jimin know? is he being fooled? will he wake tomorrow in his bed like none of this ever happened?

namjoon noticed the younger's blank stare, noticing the sweat dripping from his forehead. he decided not to say anything, incase it'd influence the latters decision.

when jungkook came to the decision that he wasn't going to tell anyone about this, he blinked back to reality and sipped his tea.

"wow, this is really good!" jungkook commented. "didn't know i had this."

"ah, thanks," namjoon spoke shyly. "it's my own special recipe."

after hearing those words, jungkook sprayed the tea all over the table.

"yah! what am i drinking?!" jungkook cried, pushing back his chair in fear.

"it's nothing bad!" namjoon reassured. "just... as long as it tastes good, right?"

jungkook looked at namjoon in disbelief, breathing heavily in fear of what he just drank.

"that's comforting," jungkook scoffed, crossing his arms. namjoon only smiled at the adorable human, finding himself enjoying the other's company. if only jungkook felt the same.

"i'm not telling anyone about you," jungkook said after a few minutes of silence. the fairy looked up. "by any chance... do you know jimin?"

namjoon's eyebrows furrowed. "i don't know any humans, kook-ah, except you of course." he didn't ask if not telling anyone about him meant that the younger was going to keep him. he was scared to know the answer.

"fair enough. so, do you have anyplace to go? like a fairyland?" jungkook questioned, genuinely curious on where namjoon came from.

"i've been sleeping for god knows how long. i'm not sure where i belong. i don't even know how many of us are alive. so i guess i don't have anyplace to go," namjoon sadly said, jungkook starting to feel bad for the fairy.

"oh..." jungkook hesitated before speaking. "well, i'll let you stay with me for a bit. until you find a fairy friend."

namjoon smiled widely, flying up to hug the tallers muscular chest. "thank you, kook!"

"just... don't be annoying," jungkook said, pulling the fairy away from his chest.

"hmph i'll try!" namjoon saluted, giving a serious face which made the younger laugh.

"how about tomorrow i'll visit the antique to find you some furniture and i'll build you a little home. it'll help me out with my next video too!" jungkook's voice was laced with excitement just thinking about how cool it'll turn out. he knew his fans were a bunch of dorks and was sure they'd love it.

"can i come?" namjoon asked, tilting his head cutely while his hands were held behind his back.

"what? but you'll be seen," jungkook frowned, pouting his lip. he didn't want jimin to think he was crazy.

"i can hide! i just want to come, please!" namjoon whined, his voice sounding as if he were about to cry.

"fine, fine. you'll stay in my pocket and don't move until i tell you to," jungkook ordered, eyes piercing into the smaller.

"got it, master!" namjoon squeaked, flying back down to the table as his back hurt from flying.

"don't call me that," jungkook said flatly, scrunching his nose in disgust.

"fine, kook-ah." namjoon playfully rolled his eyes, smiling while staring at the boy's facial expression.

"for tonight, let me find someplace comfortable for you to sleep," jungkook said, standing up to go search for something.

"can't i just sleep with you, tonight?" the fairy inquired, giving a slight pout to the younger.

"what? isn't that... a little dangerous? i mean, what if i crush you on accident?" jungkook seemed worried at that thought, which caused namjoon's heart to feel warm.

"i'll just sleep on the pillow next to your head," namjoon replied, his wings fluttering a bit. "it's only for tonight anyways."

"alright. well i'm making dinner. can you eat?" jungkook asked, scratching his head cutely. he was only wearing an oversized dark-grey sweatshirt and dark-grey sweatpants. his hair was poofy and he looked drained from crying. he reminded namjoon of a puppy.

"yeah, i can eat whatever. of course, i don't need a human sized meal. just a piece of whatever you're eating is fine," namjoon answered, flying to jungkook's shoulder as he walked to the kitchen.

jungkook made himself a chicken breast and some salad. namjoon nibbled quietly on a piece of lettuce, and jungkook also gave him a small bite of chicken. the smaller drank water from a bottle cap, accidentally spilling some on his dress.

"ah!" namjoon yelped in surprise.

"are you alright?" jungkook asked, helping the fairy up gently.

"y-yeah. sorry the cap fell on me," namjoon frowned, twisting out the water from his dress.

jungkook felt bad that namjoon didn't have proper utensils, but he promised himself to make sure namjoon could live here normally by tomorrow.

"i'm sorry. did your wings get wet?" jungkook asked with concern.

"hey don't apologize, it was my fault. and they didn't. but you don't have to worry about that, they can dry," namjoon grinned shyly, his dimples peeking.

jungkook sighed in relief. what kind of caretaker would he be if he couldn't even keep the fairy alive for a day?

after the two finished eating, jungkook washed the dishes and went to his room, the smaller following behind.

the brunette sat at his desk and pulled out his sketchbook. namjoon watched in awe from the work table, watching jungkook glide his pencil across the page. the only light in the room came from his desk lamp, and the slight glow of namjoon's skin. the younger was focused on his sketching, tongue poking out in concentration. at first namjoon didn't know what he was drawing, but a few hours later he felt the familiarity.

"who are you drawing?" the sudden question and namjoon sitting on his shoulder startled the youtuber, as if he forgot namjoon was there to begin with.

"my father," jungkook replied, continuing the drawing after getting over the shock.

"he looks a lot like you," namjoon commented, standing on the desk to take a closer look. "same smile and nose."

"uh thanks?" jungkook didn't know how to take his comment, but smiled at the thought of resembling his father.

"also, the drawing is really good," namjoon grinned widely, his eyes shutting.

"thank you. i think it's time to go to bed, what do you think?" jungkook asked, putting away his supplies.

"i agree. today was tiring... even though i've been asleep for a century," namjoon giggled at the thought, flying over to jungkook's bed.

he laid peacefully on the pillow, waiting as jungkook changed into his pajamas. he might've secretly peeked to see jungkook's muscular back, but that's a secret.

"praying that i wake up tomorrow and this was all a dream," jungkook sighed, sliding under the covers.

"hey!" namjoon whined, huffing before facing his back towards jungkook.

"sorry."

"whatever. goodnight, kook-ah."
