Aadhira's pov:

I was peeping inside a slightly opened door with a teddy bear in my hand.

Inside I could see my mom standing and having a serious conversation with someone.

I rubbed my eyes twice and I left a yawn too cause I am half asleep now.

But still tried to peek inside.
I didn't know what stopped me from entering the door though.

"See Aarathy I know this is damn difficult for you raising both the children by yourself...why don't you just come Dehradun?"

"Dehradun? Are you sure you can stay the hell away from us when we all are in the same city? "

"Aarathy..."
A manly voice said.

"What you are at loss of words?
See we married because you understood my situation and I did the same now what happen suddenly you want to out throw everything?"

"Aarathy Abi is growing and my princess she too is growing fast I want to fulfil my duties..."

It was a voice of a man.

"Look Mr you are making everything complicated now...see we decided it on the day I found that I am pregnant with Abi that we would separate for my and kid's safety. On that day you choose your career first and I am ok with it. You don't have to reconsider anything now.."

"Aarathy hear me once ..."
He said and back hugged momma.

"No nothing now please...we decided it before and now we are going by it. You got to stop visiting on holidays cause Abimanyu is already big enough to find fault in our relationship and I don't want that understand?"

"Aarathy we can change everything now you are just one decision away from totally changing our life's."

"Don't put this on me. My career is as important as yours. I know all this new feeling for you just arise after we had Aadhira now you want her in arms 24/7 and that's not going to work you. Get that into your pretty head!"
He said in a pleading tone.

She turned facing the man and hugged him.

"Our life's of children is more important than this relationship" She said and kissed him.
Then the sleepy me moved the flower stand beside me making a big noise.

"Baby girl is that you?"
Momma asked.

"She already was in deep sleep hence I left her in the sofa..."
I heard the man's voice again.

"Ush...she is here.."
My mom said and picked me up.

"You woke up?"
She asked.
I just nodded my head and made myself comfortable in her shoulder.

"She ok?"
He asked.

"Yah"
My mom said and lulled me back and forth.

"You can sleep in my room today baby.."
She said and made me comfortable in her bed.

"You have any plan moving now? It's late.."
She said to the man.

"Yes.." He mumbled.

"Can I sleep here today please.."
My mom gave him a glare.

"Only today we are not repeating this.."
She said.

And the man didn't take two seconds extra to jump into the bed and take me into his arms.

He made me comfortable in his chest warmth spread to my whole body with love and protectiveness.

"You are going to suffer bad leaving us."
I heard my mother's voice.

The man just stretched his hand.
My mom gladly accepted the invitation and laid beside him and me.

"I know.."
Was his last words before sleep took me again.

I woke up with a big scream.
I was sweating bad.
No no not this dream again.
The same mysterious man who made me believe I too had a dad.
No not that dream again.

I need mom now.
I need my mom.

I scanned the room and found everything staring at me back.
In seconds I felt like the walls are starting to move closer the room becoming smaller like it would consume me sooner.

I want my mom back please.
Now.
I want to go back to my home.
My room.
That's where I belong not here.

"Momma get me out of here please.."
I shouted like a fool.

The door opened with a sound and there stood a women.
My eyes were clouded with water I can't even figure who it was.

But my heart said it's my mom.
She came to save me from the demons.

"Oh baby.."
Was all she could say holding me tight.

"Momma you came back. I love you don't leave me again.I know mom you will come back to me!"

Few drops what seem to be like tears fell over my shirt.

"Say something momma please..."

"Sleep darling we can speak everything in the morning."
She said and started massaging my head.

After some minutes.

"It's ok you can leave now she is sleeping and just check up on Siddu!"
I heard the door being closed.

I snuggled deeply to get more warmth and love from the hands holding me.

I twisted and turned as my stomach made a grumbling sounds.

I felt a hand above my head and the pillow seem to more softer than ever.

I opened my eyes to see Vasanthi aunty. I was laying in her lap.
Omg what the hell did I Do last night?

As I quickly got up she woke up sudden.
"You alright aunty?"

"Actually I should ask that dear!"
She said and massaged my head.

"Aunty I am sorry..."

"That's fine you don't have to keep your walls high always dear it's ok if sometimes it collapses.."
And she continued.

"Last night you had a panic attack as you are stressing too much now a days...it's ok I know it's very difficult not knowing where you mom is besides you are now a days missing her a lot which leads to this attacks.
Aadhira I have always seen you as my own child if anything please try to share with me ok? I am there for you baby.."

I was having tears at this point no words formed in my brain to reply her.
It's true I miss my mom bad.
But it's also true that aunty is becoming my another mother.

"I understand if you want to take rest today you can take a day off and we both can visit a temple for change of mind or do my strong girl wants to go office today both are ok with me!"

"Aunty actually I have a important meeting today I should go office today besides I can take a evening break and we both can visit temple.."
I said.

"Anything dear now go get ready and come down stairs for breakfast ok?"

I took a hot shower and opened my wardrobe to select a dress.

The white Salwar suit suddenly struck in my eyes.
It was the last dress she bought me.

Mom would always say I look like an angel in this dress.
Gosh mom where are you please come back soon safe!

I took my phone and found a missed call from Karthick.

I called him back but now he is disconnecting call.
Karthick already left me without saying a good bye and now he is not picking up any of my calls and texts.
I am damn irritated.
Why can't he just say hello and cut the call.
Asshole!
If he is going to continue this after marriage I swear I will not leave him out of the house.
Planning something dirty ah?
Asked my brain and I blushed.

"Aadhira dear it's time you ready?"
Aunty shouted from kitchen.

"Yah aunty I am.."
I immediately gave a final look to the mirror picked my bag up and ran downstairs.

I had my breakfast with the family and all said good byes and left to their work.

"Here is your lunch box!"
Aunty passed me a lunch bag.

"Um thanks aunty!"

"Take care be safe ok? Today if you want we can visit your house after work.."

"Umm..thanks aunty!"
I said and she kissed my forehead.

I went to office in a black Audi belonging to Rangith anna driver drove me there.
I know they are spoiling me too much.

I attended the meeting.
The meeting went good.

We signed the deal for Prakash industries and have started working on the first assignment.

It was already 2 pm.
I planned to have lunch with Swathi.

We both entered the food court and she went to but some food for her. I got a table took my lunch box out and waited for her.

As she got the food to the table.
"Is the lover boy not speaking to you?"
She asked casually.

"Yah seems like he is busy in his work not having time to speak to me!"
I pouted.

"You know why I hate Karthick the reason for him being the biggest villain in my life?"

"Explain me highness.."

"Cause he is stealing my darling from me."
She said and fake cried.

"You are melting my heart Swathi!"
I said and we both laughed.

While our gala time was interrupted by her phone call.
She picked up and it was a unknown number.

"Hello "

"Yah."

"Aunty? Yah we are in the food court area aunty and yah she is with me.."
I signalled her asking what is the matter?
She just nodded her head and disconnected the call.

"Where is your phone Aadhira?"
Oh shit..I left it in the meeting room that too in silent mode.

Before I could ask her another question Vasanthi aunty entered the food court sweating profusely followed by Rangith anna.

"Aunty what's the matter?"

"Aadhira dear.."
She said and hugged me. She started crying.

"Aunty what happened? Did something happened to Karthick?"
I asked in a panic tone.

"No dear. Come we got to leave now quick.."

I was dragged to the car and Rangith anna started driving.

"Aunty what is going on? You are scaring Me!"
I said holding her.

"Aadhira listen baby..your mother ."
She started and cried.

"What happened to momma?"

I was breathing fast.

"Aadhira I would want you to remain calm.. I know.."
Said Rangith anna while driving.

"She met with a accident near Chennai."
Aunty said slowly.
