With a wide smirk in his face he left the park.

I sat in the nearby bench thinking what happened now?
Why is he doing this?
Definitely he has some benefit. He is not the type of guy who changes in one night!

With that final thought I left to home.
I went inside thinking deeply while I heard laughter sounds from kitchen I peeked inside to see Aadhira was frying some snacks in the oil while Aakrithi was sitting in the kitchen slab eating and chatting.
Seems they are enjoying their time well. Mom and dad today went to attend a marriage of our relatives. As usual anna and anni went office.
Hence the whole house is for them.

As I again turned I heard Aakrithi asked something to Aadhira which gained my attension.
"I can't believe you are this crazy Aadhira!"
"Come on really you did that?"
I saw Aadhira blushing.

Aadhira laughed a bit.I again peeked to see her.
She was laughing so beautifully her hair fell back and front her eyes her face.
F***! I am whipped.
I am head over heels for this girl man.

"Yah I did Aakrithi those fellow officers treated me as some kind of terrorist.."
She said.
I didn't understand anything they are talking!

Suddenly I turned to see super hero jumping from stairs.
"Hey little guy what's up?"
I asked.

"Yes can we play any game now I am bored?"
He asked sweetly.

"No I have to go now. Why don't you call Aakrithi to play with you?"
I asked him again.

Hearing our conversation Aakrithi came out.
"Rithi play with me please. I am bored.."
Siddu whined.

" Why not ? But first eat this snacks and then we can play happily.."
She said and picked siddu up.

"You want a plate?"
She turned and asked me.

"Aakrithi what were you talking with Aadhira back there in kitchen?"

"You eavesdropped us?"
She asked with a fake anger.
I smiled like a sheep.

"She happened to attend a conference meeting in Delhi a month back chief guest was president hence She had various checking points where in one of those checking terminal she was asked to remove her chain. She didn't remove it saying it is our custom not to remove gold chain worn by a husband to his wife. Somehow after 10 minutes argument she won and attended the meeting it seems!"
I was drumbstruck.

"How come you become this lucky my Assholic brother?"
She asked to which I pinched her.

She smiled.
"She loves you madly Karthick. What more you want? Just don't say you are not still sure with the feelings. Just propose her soon and marry her already brother. Don't make her wait too much!!"
She said in a single go.

"Ok thank you for your kindful advise love guru. I will propose her soon don't worry too much concentrate on your studies go."
I said and she glared at me.

Siddu again dragged her upstairs to play.

I went inside the kitchen to find Aadhira still working in the stove.
I encircled my arms around her delicate figure.
She shivered!

"You came early?"
She asked placing a hand in my cheek without turning.
I hummed in response.
Her lavender smell was addictive asusual.
I placed a small kiss in her neck.

"What again you came to pick some red file?"
She asked and I laughed.
Pulled her more close to me.

She turned and placed a bite of snack in my mouth.
I playfully bit her fingers.
"Ah! Karthick"
She hit me in my arms.

"Tastes good?"
She asked.
I didn't give any expression.

"What is something missing?"
She asked in a worried tone this time.

"Yup.."
I stole a peck from her plump lips.

"You are becoming naughty now a days Karthick"
She said pouting.

"Is my nila complaining about me should I file a complaint madam?"
I asked her mockingly.

"No need I already know ACP of Coimbatore if I let him know he will skin you alive!"
She said.
We both started to laugh.

"Have your lunch and leave to your office ACP sir!"
She said and smiled.

"Umm before that I think I need a desert"
I said mentioning her lips.

"Will you be able to give it?"
I asked her teasingly.

"Haha..I should feed siddu and I have work ACP sir!"
Without any further dialogues I pushed her to the slab made her sit in it and made out for nearly another 10 minutes.
I wonder when can I really get enough of her kisses?
We both left fast breaths.

I joined my forehead with hers.
"Do you believe me Aadhira?"

"Umm! What?"
She asked still not comfortable with her breathing.

"Do you believe me?"
I asked again.

"With my Life Karthick what stupid question is that?!"
She asked and glared at me.

"What happened Karthick? Anything serious?"
She asked with a worried face.
I don't want her to be upset man!
Shit!

"No I was just wondering if we can continue in our bedroom?"
I said and smirked.
Well I changed the topic!

"No way."
She said and stole a peck from my lips.

With that she jumped and ran into hall.

"Aadhira.."
But my phone ring interrupted me.
Suddenly the atmosphere around me changed.
I was brought back to the real world.

I picked the call.
"I am at your doorstep to pick you up master!"
Came the voice of Adi.
I was in no mood to laugh!

"In two min"
I said and picked up the green file lying in the sofa.
Am I really going to do it?
I wish I wouldn't!

I ran out and got into the car.
We both reached high court in another 15 minutes.
Aadhira didn't even remove a chain for me but here I am going to sell all the belief she has in me.

We reached and met a judge there I gave him the file.He was really pleased and congratulated me on my achievement.
But only in know what I have given in return.

My life.

God I hate myself more now.

I walked out of the room.
"Bro you are not fine. Is something wrong?"

"Nothing Adi.."
I said.

"Really what's the problem now you don't look happy now. Bro you really got the evidence and we are going to win the case.."
He said and it annoyed me.

"Adi leave it.."
I said.

"Bro what is the f***ing matter? You gonna win the case"
He shouted.

"But I am going to lose my life idiot!"
I shouted back making everyone see us in the parking lot.

"Bro.."
He came towards me.
But I just handed the file to him.

"Make further arrangements we have to leave Chennai soon.."
I said and walked towards the main road with no destination in mind.

Aadhira's pov:

He is making me hell worried.
Yup it is Karthick!

He is not picking up the calls for the sake no one's from the family.
Everyone tried calling his number numerous times.
I have sent nearly 65 messages but no reply.
What the f*** he is doing?
Is he in some problem?
Last time I mean before two days he asked me if I believe him? Is he going in some solo mission.
God am I thinking too much?

To get out of over thinking the bell rang I literally ran to the door in hope of seeing him and giving a tight slap but there stood Adi.
Showing his 32 pearly white teeth.
What now?

"Hey Mrs.Karthick long time no see!"
Hearing Mrs Karthick I bit my lips to stop blushing red.

"Hey Adithya!"
I said in a happy tone.

"Will you call me in or I should push the door and go inside.."
He said smiling.

"You are something come inside and where.."
He interrupted me before I could finish.

"Wait..wait before questioning me about your lover boy let me tell you everything. He is buried deep inside piles of files we got the final evidence hence he is working his ass in closing the case."
He said.

"Final evidence? You guys got it?"
I asked.

"He didn't tell you about it?"
He sounded surprised.

"I last spoke to him four days back Adi! That asshole is not taking anyone's callsI am worried.."
I said in a worried tone.

"Hey stop worrying you know him his first wife is work ..give him time he will be back.."
He said smiling.

"What made you do a visit here?"
I asked.

"Ah your lover boy needs clothes he is badly stinking in the office hence pack him a few in a bag please.."
He said and made himself comfortable in the sofa.

"He made you come instead of him? Did he ask you to inform he will not be coming home 2 more days?"
I asked glaring.

"Hey cool..cool I will take full charge tomorrow and push him to home ok well Where is everyone?"
He changed the topic.

"Aunty and uncle are out anni and anna office as usual would you like a glass of Apple juice?"

"Oh no Aadhira I am fine beside I am allergic to apples if I consume them I get severe stomach problem"
He said and laughed.

"Oh sorry. Wait here I will pack and bring the bag."
I said.

He started watching tv.

Karthick what is going on?
Why are you not coming home?

I packed few shirts and formal pants. Made my way back to the hall.

"Hey you are not giving anything to the guest and drinking juice in front of them what kind of person you are?"
I heard voice of Adi.

"Doggy see I am hell tired after all the shopping I have done. I need this Apple juice.."
Came Aakrithi's voice.

"Apple pie I am the guest.."
He said in a sweet tone.

"You know it's my favourite juice please!"
Aakrithi said.

"Mine too I have first preference here!"
Adi said.

"Then we can share!"
Aakrithi said and split the juice in two glasses. Passed him one glass.

As I went there and saw the scene happening.
Adi stood up smiling like a cat and walked towards towards me.
"You packed everything Aadhira?"
He asked.

"Yah I did.."
I answered wondering what is going on between them?

"Ok then bye lovely ladies.."
He said dramatically.

"Bye."
I said laughing.

"Ah Adi one minute.."
Aakrithi called him.

"Yah krithi."
He smiled like an idiot.

"You free tomorrow?"
She asked.

"Yah what's the plan?"
He was eager to know the reason.
Why is he acting like a dog?

"I need to visit a village in suburban will you accompany me?"
She said slowly.

"Why Not? I am full free tomorrow! Be ready I will pick u up by 9 Ok?"
He said making my mouth go wide open.

He just now said he would be busy tomorrow.

"Ok thanks doggy!"
She said and hugged him.

"Bye krithi!"
With that he left with an idiotic smile in his face.

Omg! The freaking Aditya Ram is insanely having a big crush on Aakrithi!

God he is acting as a love sick puppy before her.
Even drinks juice which is allergic to him.
He actually said he will be busy tomorrow but now ready to put a day off.
Importantly I know that dreamy look
They will make a great pair though!
Wait?
No..this is not going to work well.
She is already liking a guy named Vishwa right?
I should talk to her.
