Aadhira was not raped. The goons abused her the police came on right time so she has scratches and small injuries on her body.

Karthick's pov:

On the way to the hospital I didn't leave Siddu out of my arms for even a minute and on the other hand he hugged me so tight like his life is depend on me. I know in this situation we both need this comfort to keep us sane.

We reached hospital soon it is the same hospital where Aadhira has been admitted.

I immediately admitted siddu in child care unit as his temperature is high he was traumatized that he did not leave my hand till he was sedated and his tiny red eyes closed to sleep.

Adi was standing in the entrance of the room and smiled seeing me.
"You love the little fellow?!"

I walked to him and glared at him.
I signed the patient form identifying myself as his dad.

One day I would my last name to him too.

I love Aadhira and I would marry her one day. I am sure I want to give her whole happiness and I know that without Siddu she will never feel whole-ness.
Me, aadhira, siddu in one house filled with love and laughter.

As these thoughts clouded my vision my mind again came to the present scenario.
Seeing my nila in ICU bed with that faded pink hospital gown wires running around her bandages covering her delicate figure.
I just wanted to rip the heart of every animal who tortured her.

I can't even stand there for another minute.I quickly came out and picked my phone.

I called Adi asked him to arrest some local criminals and investigate them so at least we can gather some details about the rascal who is behind this incident.
I just want to rip their throats out!

I called Kathir an inspector of police working under me and asked him to arrest people who all he has doubts on.
I sighed heavily. I should not have let this happen.
It's all my mistake.
I slowly made my way back to Siddu's room and occupied the chair beside the bed.
My head was paining like hell.
I think I should ask nurse to bring me some sedative so that I can stop my head from bursting out.

Siddu who was sleeping peacefully in the bed slightly turned to my side I slowly brushed his hair he twisted and turned his head few times and made his head lie comfortable in my hand to sleep.

That was last thought in my mind I don't know when I fell asleep.

It has been two days since I admitted both of them in the hospital.
Siddu was quick in recovery.
The fever subsided the next day and he is quite fine now.
Only problem is that he is not leaving me for even a second. Even to washroom all the time he just clings to me just like a monkey.

Hence I called the only person who came to my mind – Aakrithi and asked her reach Coimbatore soon.

After playing for an hour Siddu at last ate a cup of oats.
After the breakfast he planned to watch cartoons but he ended up sleeping cause he is still under medication.

Bored me started to read random magazines and I too slept for a bit.

I again woke up due to the sound of door opening to see Adi with two covers in his hands which I guess was lunch.
"Hey bro here is your lunch and that munchkin's.."
He said and placed it over the bench.

I stretched myself up and smiled.
"Wish mom was here.."
I said slowly.

"You know what you can call them back. I am afraid seeing your condition really!"

"What?"

"Yah you are totally shaken up look at the mirror you have black circles big big bags under your eyes without enough sleep besides you are not taking your food properly. I am getting worried about you..."

"Adi you know I can't disturb them they are in Mumbai for new branch opening besides mom and dad are so in happy mood hence I can't call them and make them worry "

"You think ma is not worrying about YOU she called me 12 times in past three days enquiring about you"
He literally shouted.

"Adi just leave this topic now I don't want to disturb them that's final ..."

"I know you loved her but I didn't even think in dreams that you will become this weak"
He said in a cold tone.

"Adi now what are you trying to explain? You are saying Aadhira made me weak now?"
I shouted at him back.

"Love makes even the mightiest of mighty weak!"
There came the voice of Shiva.

"Shiva?"
I was shocked.

"Hi Bud!"
He said and entered inside.

"Adi actually I think now I can take your position of babysitting Karthick for a day!"

"Thanks brother you are the best"
Adi said back in a tone which by the way irritated me.

Adi left soon after that.

Shiva slowly went to the sofa and made himself comfortable.
"Now tell me why are you this restless Karthick?"

I just glared at him.

"Cool now why are glaring at me?"

"I am reason behind everything..."
I said in a cold tone.

"It's called fate my friend first stop being this emotional. Accept the mistake the pain will subside and stop blabbering something in the form of commands to Kathir and Adi."

"Did Adi called you up?"

"No he didn't see man I know it hurts it will hurt like hell seeing her struggles but you got to be strong for her for the sake of not only her all the people around you..."
I sighed.

"I know it's our mistake we must have put some security around the house 24×7 but we somehow missed that out and that rascals used that opportunity to attack you ..."
He said in a sad tone.

"See take a week long leave don't worry about anything your only focus is to get Aadhira to a healthy state both mentally and physically and here Adi will manage up everything and leave the matter of finding whose behind this incident I and Ashok will look after that and everything will be ready when you return back to duty then you can load your damn gun and shoot all of them cool?"
I nodded.

"Cheer up Bud!"

"Yah thank you Shiva..."
I said and hugged him.

"Don't give me that face I can't quite see that.."
He said and laughed.

He slowly got up looked up at Siddu who was sleeping soundly.

"He looks just like his dad!"

He said.

"Yah a zerox copy of Abimanya"

I said.

"We need to tell Aadhira soon about everything about Qabila, Harshu and everything. We can't hold it for longer."

Shiva said and I nodded.

Shiva left soon after that.

I went to the cafeteria to have a good coffee and clear my mind up.As I got the coffee and took a chair near a table.
The television grabbed my attention.

I guess the news spread over Coimbatore like fire.
"The house of chief Appointed government lawyer house has been broke In? Do you people think this society is still safe?"

"Are the police force paralysed?"

My anger reached its tip seeing media making this incident a big issue. I actually made sure that the thing about Aadhira doesn't leak out. I actually prepared a fake statement saying Aarathy mam, aadhira and siddu are out of station.
Now another problem is Aarathy mam's phone is switched off I still assume that she doesn't know this incident according to her assistant today morning she should have arrived from Delhi here.

But two days back which means on the day incident occured a email has been sent by Aarathy mam's personal email id
"Actually my study for a important case is still not over so I have planned to extend my stay here for few more days. I am sorry I will not be at home this weekend too. Take care bye.

Ps. Don't try to contact me as I am going to analyse the important case deep inside and have to visit some naxal areas regarding it...hence will not be able to speak to you at least for a week.

I accidentally checked Aadhira's phone and found this email as her gmail account was in open window already.
Why didn't mam call Aadhira and inform this thing?

Why did she sent a email?

Only in emails the location trace is difficult that means is she in some secured location.

Before I can jump into further thoughts a hand on my shoulder disturbed me I turned to see and Aakrithi with a sad smile.
"Karthick I heard everything from doggie. I am so sorry!"
We both started to walk back to Siddu's room.

"Is Aadhira fine now? Did she woke up again?"

"Yah once yesterday "
I said in a small tone.

"Don't worry she will soon get well maybe the dose she was injected would have been heavy."

By the sound of Aakrithi siddu woke up and rubbed his eyes.
"Did my little baby woke up from his heavy sleep?"
She asked in a child tone.

Siddu slightly smiled showing his teeth.
"Rithi!"
He literally squealed seeing her.

Aakrithi quickly went and gave him a bear hug.
"See what I bought you!"
She revealed a big toy jeep from her bag.

"Woah!!"
Siddu made a sound which made me chuckle.

"You like it?"
She asked eyeing his Iv bottle as it as near it's end.

He nodded his head fast.
"Thank you rithi!"
He said and gave a kiss to Aakrithi.

"Welcome!"
She said and started to analyse his test reports.

After two minutes.
"I guess Siddu can be discharged.."
She said and massaged little one's one head.

I just nodded.
"And I like to take him to Thoothkudi for few days at least till Aadhira recovers fully."

"What?"

"Yah she needs time and attention Karthick don't worry I will take care of this little hero besides I can't stay here I have a conference tomorrow.."

"Are you sure?"

"Yah I will talk to the doctor just sign over few papers we both are good to go!"
She said and smiled seeing Siddu.

"And by the way I booked tickets for both of us for 7 pm flight."
She said and smiled.

"Oh! I will go and see the work required to discharge him then.."
I said and moved towards the door.

"I will too go and check up on Aadhira and meet the doctor treating her .."
She said and started to move out with me while a nurse was asked to take care of Siddu in our absence.

Soon I finished all the formalities for the discharge.
Siddu was little adamant to not to leave me but Aakrithi somehow convinced him up and soon they both left saying a big bye to me.

I too after 3 long days went to police station and checked all the reports that were lying in my table.

Adi is now in charge of everything since I am in leave he seem to be so stressed.

I returned to the hospital around 12pm and as I made my way to the waiting area allotted to ICU patients nurse informed me to meet the doctor.

I went to his cabin.
"Doctor you called me?"
He was writing something in a diary.

"Yah young man take your seat.."
I slowly went and took the seat opposite to him.

"What relation are you to Ms.Aadhira?"
I blinked twice hearing that question.

"I am her fi.."
Before I could complete.

"Lover?"
He said and smiled.

I coughed.

"Doc.."

"A look in your eyes says everything Karthick"
I just looked down at the floor design as it was something so beautiful that I have never seen in my life.

"Yah actually the matter I want to convey to you was Aadhira woke up nearly 5 times today she is traumatized and the sight of injections make her body shake rapidly I guess it's the memory of the incident. She becomes violent in seconds.."
I just looked at the doctor blankly.

"If this persists the only way to cure her is to get her home look after her with care and change her mind slowly...."

"Home?"

"Yah she is quite fine physically just cuts and scratches all over the body. She is badly damaged mentally Karthick this incident had shook her up "
I nodded my head slowly.

"Where are her parents Karthick?"

"Divorsed couple. Her mom is the famous lawyer Aarathy krishnan"

"Oh ok did you not inform her yet?"

"I informed her she is just struck at work. She will reach here soon"
Lies..lies.

"Well then ok at this time love and attention is the only thing she needs most.. so try to give her your best "

"Ok..doctor"

"You can leave youngman..and go home have some good sleep. You seem to be tired"
I smiled and left his cabin .

But didn't have the heart to leave hospital hence again made my way to the waiting hall.

It would have been around 3 am I heard loud noise like someone is shouting.
And the voice was Aadhira's.

I quickly got up and went to the ICU to see her wildly shouting. She was trying to push everything around her.
Nearly 4 attenders were trying to control her.

I went toward her in slow steps. Her eyes found me.
She stopped all her movements.
"Kar...thick..."
The sound of her voice just wanted me to rip my heart out.

The doctor took the opportunity and injected her.She screamed loudly.
Her eyes were drooping next second.

She stretched her pale hands out and soon I got hold of it pushing few staffs in the process.

"Get me home kart...hick"
Were her last words.
