Aadhira's pov:

My eyelids were so tear stained that I felt so difficult to open it was stick like a gum to my skin. At last with great effort I opened to see stars shining bright in the dark sky.
Am I dead? Was my first thought.

Next second horrible incidents rushed into my mind making me to sit up so fast in the bed.
Where am I? Whose room is this?
'Karthick saved you from the monster remember? This must be his room.'
Said my poor brain.

I have a severe headache from the moment I woke up. I walked few steps to see a mirror hanging in the wall.
My right hand was bandaged and I had a small plaster in the forehead due to the cut.
My clothes were torn here and there but I was wearing a long white shirt over it which smelled awesome not to mention.
I was looking so stupid with this noodles hair and this costume.

There was big closet, dressing table and a couch.
Weird thing is all were grey in colour.

I found a guitar at the end of the room beside the door.
The most beautiful thing in the room is the big window above the bed.
The moonlight shine bright lighting up half of the room.

I somehow reached the door without blacking out in pain and opened to see Karthick sitting awkwardly in a chair sleeping with a laptop in his lap and papers all over him.

I went near him and removed the laptop and placed it aside in the table nearby and started to arrange the papers in which I spotted many chemistry formulas.
Being a chemistry addict I could stop myself from skimming it.

It had equations indicating usage of Anabolic steroids banned chemical drugs.

People consuming whatever product having this substance tends to be super active for a short period of time but as the days move it causes internal disorders.
While I was in self-diagnosis someone poked my arm.
Not someone it's Karthick idiot!
Said my stupid brain.

"Hi"
I smiled looking like a deer caught in headlight of he car.

"You woke up? What were you doing with my stuff?"
He asked in a half sleeping tone.

"Uhh.. it's nothing."
I tried to smile again.

"You feeling better now?"
He asked rubbing his eyes.

"Yah..."
My voice came down.

"I am not going to ask anything ok? But please just stay away from that dog!"
He sounded tensed.

"Sure don't worry."
My eyes were again pools remembering the incident.

He got off the chair and went into kitchen I guess as I was again piling up the stack of papers he passed a glass of lime juice.
Me Being me drank in one gulp.

"You are hungry!"
He said. It was more a statement than a question.

He went and again searched into his fridge and ended up with two pieces of pizza.

I started eating it happily like a pig.
He again switched on his laptop.

"Those formulas look fishy!"
I said biting a bit from pizza.

"How come you say that?"
He stiffened.

"Hello I am a Msc chemistry graduate!"
I said in a high tone..

"Oh yah right!"
He sounded amazed.

"These formulas detect a usage of a banned compound "
I said as a fact.

"Can you explain that to me?"
He asked curiously.

"Sure but I would need the full test report.."
I said eyeing the papers.

"Oh! I have that in my office.."
He said sighing loud.

"Can we meet day after tomorrow related to these reports?"
I was startled for a second.

"Yah.. we can!"
And our conversation ended there.

After 5 minutes .Being a curious kid from my young age I could not stop myself.

"Is this your house?"

I asked looking around

"Yes it is."
He answered in a monotonous voice.

"Where is your family?"

"They live in the city!"

He said in a cool tone.

"Where are we now?"

I asked panicking for a moment.

"In my home.."
After a Atlantic ocean gap he answered
"Which is located outside the city." He said.

"Why did you bring me here?"
"Err.. what a stupid question is that? I should have left you there!"

" You could have really..."
He interrupted me again asking me to be quiet .

After 5 min I again tried my luck.

"Why did you even save me?"

I asked

"OMG! You are impossible!"
He closed his laptop.

"Come on I can drop you in mandap..."

"What?"

I asked.

"Yah come on get up quick I can not have you here anymore.."
He stretched his hand to help me to get up.

I quickly removed my head band and tried to do my hair somewhat.

"Yah we should go it's time!"

I said going near the door.

"I don't mind you travelling like this but people in mandap definitely will!"
He said checking me up and down with a smirk.

I blushed bad!
"Do you have spare clothes??"
I asked slowly.

He ran his hands through his hair making him look more sexy.
He is really a Greek tamil god!

" Yah wait a minute "
He said and went inside the room with me following him. He opened the closet and gave me a wrapped gift box.

"Err... I brought this for my sister some time back you can use it now!"
He said with a smile that can melt anyone.

Damn his dimples!

"Is it ok?" I asked him again.

"No problem. Just change into that and come out ok? I will wait outside..."
He walked out and closed the door.

It was a maxi dress flower print it was quite beautiful.
He has a good taste in selecting women dresses.
Wait a minute. Does he have a girlfriend?

I kept my questions apart and left the room to see him checking me out.
It's my chance and I smirked.

We got out his flat and reached the carparking.
"How...did...you..."

"What?"
He sounded annoyed at this point with my continuous pestering.

"How did you bring me here from the club?"

"In the car"
He said and put on his helmet and passed me one.

"Is that your car?"
I asked not believing.

" YES!"
He replied.
I started in awe and a question hit my head.

"How come a police officer can buy this car?"
Why the hell that question left my mouth with testing? I asked annoyed with my brain.

"My family is in business and I am part of SQUAD4 remember?"

He replied starting his bike *royal enfield *
This guy Is definitely rich brat!

"You are coming?" He asked.
"Yah!"
I answered reaching his bike.

We reached mandap in another 45 min time with him traveling in lightning speed.
Who the f*** gave him driving licence?
He really has a death wish rising like that.

Getting down I felt like I am going faint any moment.

"Omg! I am alive thank you lord for saving this child!"

I said to myself.
He and his driving skills. Never in the hell I am again riding with him!!!

"Thank you for the wonderful ride "
I said in a sarcastic tone.
He did not even turn back or least nod his head. He started his bike and left just like that.
Screw that pig head!

I slowly tiptoed and reached pooja's room it was around 3:30 am and knocked it.

There came a ghost in a yellow Chudidhar.
Ok that's the bride.

The next second she hugged me tight.
"Omg how was the night with ACP?"
She started to shout.
How in the hell she know?

"Tell me everything what happened did you guys kiss?"
She asked jumping up and down.

"Ush ush ..keep quiet everyone is sleeping"
I said blushing.

"Tell me come on I need juicy details.."
She dragged me to the bed and locked the door.

Did her eyesight gone bad or she is high she could not even notice my bandage?

"Nothing happened"
I sounded annoyed.

Her enthusiasm drained at last.
"Hey what happened to your hand???"
She asked worried.

I really did not want to tell her about the incident with her brother tomorrow is her big day and I don't want her to get upset knowing it.

"Nothing leave it!!"
I said in a boring tone.

"Did you get your hand got cut while making out?"
She asked smiling.

"OMG! Stop the nonsense already go get your beauty sleep tomorrow is your big day!"
I said in a irritated tone.

She slid into bed and started to sleep.
" Hey....how come you know that I went with that ACP?"

"For your kind information that ACP and Logesh are best friends from diapers and they are neighbours."
she answered with a smirk.

"Ok fine go to sleep tomorrow night you may not be able to get sleep a wink!"
I said and smiled.
She blushed tomato with that I too slid into the bed beside her.

KARTHICK'S POV:

"Hey you came home at last!"

Anni opened the door.
(Anni- sister in law)

"Sorry Anni I disturbed your sleep"
I said removing my shoes.

"It's ok Karthick do you want anything to eat?"

"No thanks Anni."
I replied with a smile seeing her love for me.

At the same time mom came rubbing her eyes.

"How was did the reception go karthick? How was the party man? Did you drink till 3 am seriously?"
She asked the last question looking at the clock.

"Yah mom reception went great and the party was a blast. I am sorry had some serious work in the office..."
I did not even completed my sentence.

"Don't try to lie monkey."
Mom said smiling.

"Ok I went to my flat and worked on a new case..."
she nodded.
To avoid her further questions I quickly said that I am going to sleep and moved to my room.

"Did you meet some girl in the party?"
Mom asked following me.

"Mommy stop it!"
With that I entered my room.
Being 28 years old I can't even lie properly to my mom.
Screw my innocent eyes.

Next morning I got ready in a Kurta and pajama paired it with a colourful over coat.
Ok my mom selected the dress. I don't have such good taste.

Today my whole family was invited to the morning ceremony all so we all got ready early and reached mandap after a 20 min drive..

As we entered the stage was quite busy with people all around but one particular human got my eyes immediately.

She was wearing a yellow/pink half saree she looked so beautiful that I can't even move my eyes from her for even a second.

"Bro before a mosquito builts a house in your mouth I advise it to close it."
Rangith my elder brother mocked me.

"Don't stop with staring alone go get to know her and maybe get her number. Who knows she might be the one chaining you down."
Anni said and pushed me towards the stage.

I went to the stage first congratulated Logesh and pooja with a warm hug and walked towards my doll.
I know I look like a creepy guy but I just couldn't control it her beauty is overpowering my senses like the smell of a primrose.

"Am I looking that bad ACP?"
Came her angelic voice.
How can I describe her beauty in mere words.
God I become a poet now a days....help me!!!

"No you look beautiful ..."
Like a Angel dropped from heaven.
I thought to continue but stopped for good.

She blushed tomato.

At the same time two little hands wrapped around my leg.

"You are here? Are bad..gu.ys coming here too?"

He asked.

"How come you know it? You will help in saving everyone right?"
I asked smiling.

"Yes I wi..lll"
He said with enthusiasm.

I carried him down the stage as the crowd became more and more each second. We reached where my family was seated.

And that's all the little one was kidnapped from me by my Anna and Anni.They both loved kids.. I mean uff.
God I can't even think how much they will them spoil their own child?

I just hope soon the couple get pregnant and give a beautiful daughter or son.

Mom started to push her chair towards me slowly.

She reached beside me and smiled seeing me.
Which was suspicious.

"Did you see that girl?"

"Which girl?"

"That one in yellow half saree..."

" No!"
I lied.

"She is so beautiful seems to be well mannered good girl should I ask her hand?"

"Hand for what? Bangle measurement?"
I asked knowing what she meant.

"Yes for bangle measurement. Stupid for marriage ofcourse!"
She sounded annoyed.

"Mom you know whose daughter is that?"

"I don't care Karthick if she is the girl you like I am ready to cross mountains I just need a nod from you."
She asked looking at me seriously.
