It's been a couple of months since the trail has happened Officer Adams was sentence to prison for a lot of charges, now things are starting to get back to normal around town now

Lately Ethan, Juliet and Lucas have been becoming close friends, Ashley, Mike and Maddison have been becoming close friends too, at school Ethan is at his locker then Juliet and Lucas walks up to him

'Hey, are you ready for today?' Lucas asks

'I'm actually nervous' Ethan says

'Nervous?, how are you nervous about asking Mike out' Juliet says, Ethan looks at her

'It's easier said then done, besides you haven't asked Ashley out yet either' Ethan says

'He's right about that' Lucas says

'Alright fine, if you ask out Mike today then I'll ask Ashley out' Juliet says

'Alright deal' Ethan says, they shake on it

Across from Ethan's locker Maddison and Mike walks up to Ashley, who is looking at Ethan, Juliet and Lucas

'Hey' Maddison says, Ashley looks at her and Mike

'Still hurts doesn't it?' Maddison asks

'Yeah it does' Ashley says

Ethan shuts his locker door he and Juliet leaves Ethan puts his arm around Juliet and Mike hugs Ashley who has tears in her eyes and Lucas sees what is happening then he puts two and two together

'Oh crap' Lucas whispers to himself

'Guys wait up!' Lucas yells, he takes off running

He turns the corner of the hallway that Ethan and Juliet are walking in and they turn around

'Yeah' Ethan says

'I don't think that you guys will have a chance with Ashley and Mike because I think that they think that you two are dating' Lucas says

'What makes you think that they think that?' Ethan asks, it clicks for Juliet

'Because of the arm thing that we just did' Juliet says

'And you guys have been friendly flirty lately too, just saying' Lucas says

'Now that you mentioned it, yeah I do see how it looks from their point of view' Ethan says

Ashley, Mike and Maddison walks by them, Juliet and Ashley makes eye contact with each other and Juliet can see the tear stains on Ashley's face then Ashley looks away and Juliet looks at Ethan and Lucas

'And we better act fast too' Juliet says, they look at them walking down the hallway

It's lunch time Mike is at his locker getting his lunch money then Ethan walks up to him with a red rose in his hand

'Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?' Ethan asks, Mike looks at him

'Please?' Ethan asks, Mike nods yes

'Ok, I just wanted to clear something up me and Juliet are not dating, I know it looks like it because I didn't realize until now that we were being friendly flirty towards each other, and the reason why we became close friends is because she understands what I have been through these past couple of years, I'm not saying that you don't I know you do its just we have similar trauma and there's probably trauma that I don't know that you have too and I'll be there for you, whenever you want to tell me, me and Juliet have feelings for two different people, and for Juliet it's Ashley, for me it's you' Ethan says

A few seconds goes by and Mike takes the rose from Ethan's hand and Ethan looks at Mike

'You know what?' Mike asks

'What?' Ethan asks, nervously

'You were this shy asking out Nick, as you are now with me' Mike says, Ethan blushes

'You remember that?' Ethan asks

'Yeah, I do, we both had a crush on you but I could see that you like him more than me so I took a step back and let Nick be with you, I just wish he was still alive to see this because he knew how much I liked you, still do actually, but he would have been happy to see this' Mike says

'Well I'm glad that you still do like me in that way, does that mean that you will go out with me?' Ethan asks, nervously, Mike looks at him

'Yes, yes, I will' Mike says

'Oh thank god' Ethan says, he puts his hands on his knees

'Oh god, for a minute there I thought that I was going to puke' Ethan says, Mike chuckles, Ethan stands up

'Come on let's go get some lunch, I'll pay' Ethan says

'Sounds good' Mike says, Ethan smiles

They leave and Ethan puts his arm around Mike's neck

'And then we can talk about where our first date is going to be at' Ethan says, Mike smiles

'Alright' Mike says, they head to the cafeteria

It's after school Ashley is in the music room to grab some stuff for the play in a couple of days then she looks on Instagram and sees Mike's story of the red rose with the caption 'the happiest day of my life' with Ethan being tagged in it and Ashley smiles then realizes that she got it all wrong

'Oh crap' Ashley whispers to herself

'Problem?' A voice says, behind Ashley

Ashley turns around and sees that it's Juliet with a red rose too

'Yeah, I got something completely wrong' Ashley says, she sits down in a chair

'Wow, never thought that I would hear those come out of your mouth' Juliet says

she walks up to her and sits down beside her and Ashley shows Juliet Mike's story and Juliet smiles

'He finally ask Mike out' Juilet says

'Are you made that I misread the situation?' Ashley asks, Juliet says

'No, I'm glad that you did so we can make things clear for you and Mike, don't get me wrong I love Ethan to death but just as a little brother other then that I don't have any feelings towards him or any men for that matter' Juliet says, Ashley smiles

'Just next time if you see something that doesn't look right just come to me and talk to me about it' Juliet says, Ashley looks at her

'I will differently do that next time if there is one' Ashley says

'Good choice of words at the end there' Juliet says, they laugh

'In the meantime, will you go out with me?' Juliet asks

She hands Ashley the rose, Ashley smiles and takes the rose

'Yes, I will go out with you' Ashley says, Juliet smiles

'Good' Juliet says

After they get that straighten out Juliet helps Ashley with what they need for the play in a couple of days
