Player's P.O.V.

I woke up. I got up and dressed and put my beanie on my head, brushed my teeth and went downstairs after that to eat breakfast and go to school.

When I came downstairs, I saw my mom sitting, eating her breakfast. I saw something on her wrist. It was a yellow dot. "What's that on your wrist?" I asked her. "That's my power." My mom explained. "It shows how strong you are." I was curious. "Does dad have it too?" I asked. "Yes, he has beige." She explained. "When am I getting mine?" I asked, excitedly. "When you're 15-16." Mom replied. I sighed. I was only 12... I decided to eat my breakfast then go to school. I knew I had to wait. I would probably get yellow or beige, just like mom and dad. Dum came downstairs a few seconds after I started eating my toast. I told her about the power thing. She was just as excited as me.

We went to school after eating our breakfast.

(Time skip: 4 years later)

I woke up from my alarm clock. I sat up groggily and got ready for school. I went to the bathroom and was just about to open the door when I heard Dum scream, from inside the bathroom. I opened the door and saw her jumping up and down excitedly. "OMG PLAYER PLAYER I HAVE MY POWER!" Dum screamed. She showed me a dot on her wrist. It was green. "Cool!" I said. "Come on, check yours!" Dum exclaimed. I looked at my wrist. My dot was blue. "Mine's blue." I said. "Ooh! Let's brush our teeth and show mom!" Dum said. We went to brush our teeth and went downstairs after.

"MOM, WE GOT OUR POWERS!" Dum and I shouted in unison. "Oh! Let me see!" Mom said, excited to see our powers. Dum showed mom her green dot and I showed my blue one. Mom was happy when she saw Dum's power but when she saw mine, she gasped and her face changed to a worried look. I did not like her sudden face change. "Mom? What's wrong?" I asked. "Player, you... stay away from every color except pink. And Dum." She said. "Why?" I askded, also worried. "Because... I'm sorry to say this, but you have... one of the weakest colors. You see, the weakest color is pink, the strongest one is purple. There are stronger ones like gold and silver, but those go to private schools. If someone finds out you're blue, you will have the chance to get attacked." She gave me a paper with all colors from weakest to strongest.

I felt even more worried now. "Can't I cover it up?" I asked. "No, it's illegal to cover it up." Mom replied. I was really hopeless now. Dum pat my shoulder. "It's gonna be ok." She said. "But what if someone with a stronger power than green attacks me?" I asked. Dum thought, not knowing the answer to that. "I... don't know yet." She said. I sighed. I was pretty afraid but yeah, I had to go anyway.

When we came at the bus stop Dum ran up to her girlfriend Gnome. "Hey bae I got my power!" She exclaimed. "I got green!" I walked up behind her. "Oh lucky you! I got teal..." Gnome said. "What's your color, Player?" I gulped. Teal is still stronger than blue. "Well uhh- oh hey the bus is there!" I said because the bus was arriving, finally. I found a seat next to a window and sat down. Dum sat down on the seat behind mine, with Gnome. I looked out the window, still worried. "Hey." I suddenly heard. I looked. A very light blonde haired guy with yellowish brownish eyes looked at me. He had a captain's hat on his head and was wearing a shirt with "SO OP!" on it. "Hi." I replied. "So what's your power?" He asked. "Well-" I suddenly got interrupted by someone screaming: "HEY, THIS IS THAT BITCH WHO GOT PINK!" A guy with dark brown hair with a blue stripe and wearing a blue cap ran up to us and pushed the guy off his seat. He started beating him up with his friends, a guy with ginger hair and a cheese on top and a guy with black hair and a shirt with "I'M FUCKING PRETTY!" on it. I wanted to help the guy but I was afraid. The bus driver didn't give a crap either.

Eventually, some guy with green dyed hair and a plant on his head fired a beam at them. "Are you ok Captain?" He then asked, helping the slightly shorter guy up. The Captain guy nodded as his green haired friend let him lean on him. "Thanks Stoner." The Stoner guy led him to his seat.

No one went to sit with me after that, which I found ok.

When we were at school, I couldn't help but stare in awe. It was huge! We all got out and got into the school. Since it was everyone's first day they were all looking for their homeroom.

I eventually found mine and Dum's homeroom after 10 minutes or so. Dum went to sit down next to Gnome again, which I understood. She always does that. We're both used to it. I sat down on a seat in the back next to a window and looked around. In the back there also was a guy with fluffy blonde hair and a crown on his head. He was wearing a yellow, comfortable looking hoodie and laying his head on the table. He looked at me for a moment then looked away again. Next to him sat the Captain guy and a guy with black hair and a wizard's hat. The Stoner guy sat here too.

Suddenly, the same ginger haired guy with a cheese on his head I saw in the bus came in. He sat down next to me. "Hey, my name MrCheese. What's your color?" He asked, innocently, which i didn't believe. "Well uhh, my name is Player. My color is... uhh..." I started. MrCheese grabbed my sleeve and rolled it up, revealing the blue dot. "MrCheese no!" I shouted. "Pfft-" MrCheese scoffed. He then started laughing. Loudly. "HAH! GUYS, PLAYAH HERE HAS BLUE!" Everyone looked back at us. They started laughing too and throwing stuff at me. Well, everyone except Stoner, Captain, Dum, Gnome, the wizard and crown guy. They all stopped when the teacher came in.

Veteran's P.O.V. (A few moments before everyone started throwing stuff at Player)

I came into our homeroom. I sat down next to Stoner, Captain and Wizard and saw Captain was pretty much beaten up. Those bastards be bullying the poor marshmallow, just because he has pink. I myself have red. I laid my head on the table and sighed. Mondays suck ass...

Suddenly, a guy with dark brown hair and a beanie on his head walked in. He sat down and we made eye contact for a moment. It felt odd, but I must admit, he was pretty cute. I turned away quickly before I started blushing too much. I kinda started listening to the convo between the guy and MrCheese. His name was Player, apparently. Suddenly, MrCheese yelled: "HAH! GUYS, PLAYAH HERE HAS BLUE!" Everyone started laughing and throwing stuff at the poor guy. I, Wizard, Captain and Stoner didn't join in. A girl who looked like Player (was it his sister?) and the girl next to her didn't join in either. They looked concerned though. Just like Wizard and Captain, who was softly crying. Stoner was just looking at nothing. Prolly smoked again. He does that often, on a place behind the school, where teachers don't come. I wanted to stand up for Player. Everyone stopped throwing stuff when the teacher came in.

"Hi, I'm Mother, and I'm your teacher for this year." The teacher said. She then explained the rules and told us more about herself and the two sons she has.

(Time skip to lunch break because school sucks ass and is just too boring to write about)

We all went to the cafeteria. Player looked pretty sad. The two girls were talking to him. I decided to invite Player over so he could eat with me and my friends Captain, Stoner and Wizard. I walked up to the three. "Oh god I can't believe they just did that only because you're blue!" The brown haired girl with a sticky note said. "Me neither." The lighter brown haired girl with a gnome's hat said. "Hey uhh, newbie, wanna sit with me and my friends?" I asked. Player looked at me and smiled softly. "You... you really want me to sit and eat with you guys?" I nodded. "Of course." I replied. "Dum, Gnome, I'm gonna eat with them, ok?" Player said. The girls nodded. "Thanks for doing this for my brother." The girl with the sticky note said. I assumed her name was Dum, since she had a DUM sticky note. I smiled. "No prob." I said.

I led Player to my table, where Wizard, Stoner and Captain were. Captain was holding an ice pack against his black eye. "Hey Vetodude, hey uhh..." "Player." Player finished Stoner's sentence. "Hey Player, I'm Stoner. Nice to meet ya dude." "I'm Captain." "And I'm Wizard." "And I'm Veteran. Vetboyslim for short." I said. "I'm kinda wondering why you guys invited me..." Player said, looking a bit sad and confused at the same time. Oh how much I wanted to comfort him in a hug like Stoner does to Captain. I shrugged the thought off and just went to eat. "Because we are some of the kids that don't bully others. Unlike some people..." I grumbled, looking at MrCheese and some friends of his. They were beating up another kid. He first had two other friends, MrEgg and TheGentleman, but they got the ultra rare colors so they go to private schools. Now MrCheese has become a bully. I can beat his ass easily though, since I have red and he has beige. Stoner has orange, Wizard has yellow and Captain has pink. I am still the strongest out of them.

(Time skip: after school because, yeah, school sucks ass)

No one's P.O.V.

Player was walking on the schoolyard, on his way to leave the school and go home. He was alone since Dum went to Gnome's house. He was thinking to himself. His day wasn't good, but wasn't that bad either. "Hey, loser!" Player suddenly heard. A rock got thrown at his head. It hit him. "Ow!" Laughter sounded. Then MrCheese and the other bullies Bro and Greaser appeared. Player gasped and slowly walked backwards as the bullies approached him. "Aww, little Playman is scared!" Bro said. "Let's beat his ass!" Greaser said. They started beating Player up. Since Player was blue, he couldn't go up against MrCheese with his beige color, Bro with his green color and Greaser with his orange color.

Veteran was leaving school and walking home too when he saw Player getting beaten up. He walked up to the bullies and fired a beam at them. The bullies got shot off Player and fell on the ground. "Now leave him alone or I will go full power on all of you..." Veteran threatened. "Pfft, and what color do you have then?" MrCheese said and laughed. He hadn't fought against Veteran before, because he recently became a bully. "I have beige, so if you think that-" "I have red, cheese ass." MrCheese froze. "Now go away until I go 100% power!" The bullies quickly stood up and ran away. Veteran walked up to Player, who was softly whimpering. "Are you ok?" He asked. Player looked up. "N-no..." Veteran offered him a hand. "Here, you can go with me. At my place I'll treat your black eye and nosebleed." Player touched his nose and looked at his hand. There was blood. He then grabbed Veteran's hand with his other hand. Veteran helped him up and took him with him.

At Veteran's home, Veteran introduced Player to his mom. "Oh sweetie, did they bully you only because you're blue?" Veteran's mom asked. Player nodded. "I will treat your wounds now." Veteran's mom said. Player nodded.

Player's P.O.V.

A few minutes later I was sitting with an ice pack against my black eye and my nose had stopped bleeding too. I had informed Dum and my parents too that I was staying at Veteran's. Mom was glad I still found a friend but was less glad I got beaten up by some bullies. Veteran and I were talking. I must admit he looked very cute and was very nice. His eyes were such a beautiful forest green. We also both have the same interests. We love playing games like Among Us and Fall Guys (He doesn't like Friday Night Funkin' though, because he hates rhythm games), we both hate bullies/bullying, we both have a toxic af ex (he has Greaser, I have Noob) and we both used to be stupid af when we were children.

A while later, I had decided to go home. Veteran had given me his number and the number of his friends too. I gave him Dum's and Gnome's numbers and Veteran added them to his anti-bullying friend group.

When I came home, I greeted my parents. Dum wasn't home yet. My dad was home from work early and he was proud that Dum and I got our powers. He was less proud about the bullying thing, and wanted to call the school, but I had told him it wasn't worth it, so he didn't call the school.

(Time skip: a few weeks later)

Dum and I were walking on the schoolyard, looking for my friends and Gnome, who had joined our anti-bullying friend group (Dum had joined too), when I saw the bullies MrCheese, Bro and Greaser again. They were beating up Captain. "Should we do something?" Dum asked. "No, they're stronger than the both of us." I sighed. "They have colors stronger than your green power and my- purple power?!" I looked at my dot, which was purple instead of blue, with a shocked face. "The hell do you mean purple?!" Dum exclaimed, grabbing my wrist and looking at the dot. She gasped, seeing the purple dot. I then suddenly felt a strength I had never felt before. I ran up to the bullies. "STOP BULLYING CAPTAIN RIGHT FUCKING NOW!" I yelled. The three bullies looked up and got scared looks on all of their faces. "O-of course!" Greaser said. He stood up. Bro did the same. Only MrCheese didn't do anything. He was frozen in fear and shaking. "Come on MrCheese he has fucking PURPLE! WE'RE FIFTY SHADES OF FUCKED! WE LITERALLY BEAT HIM UP A FEW DAYS AGO!" Bro grabbed the cheese boy and dragged him along while he and Greaser ran away. I could quickly see MrCheese had fainted in the process, seeing his pale face and his body not shaking anymore.

I looked at my wrist, still not believing what happened. "Dum, slap me." "Why?" "I gotta check if I'm dreaming." Dum gave me a hard slap. "Ow! Nope, I'm not dreaming." I said. "What Just happened?" We suddenly heard. Veteran, Wizard, Gnome and Stoner ran up to us. Stoner ran up to Captain to check if he's ok. "Veteran, I- check my power!" I said, showing Veteran my wrist. Veteran gasped. "But... how?" He asked. "I don't know..." I said. "I just... saw it was purple, and then I felt really powerful, like I could beat those bullies to the point they want their mommy. Also, when they saw me having purple, they ran away and MrCheese fainted in the process." Veteran, Wizard, Dum and Gnome chuckled at that MrCheese part. Stoner had left in the meantime to take Captain to the school nurse.

"We gotta go inside now, dude." Veteran said, seeing everyone go inside. I nodded and we all went inside to our homeroom.

(Time skip: at lunch break)

We were just done eating and were outside. "You know, since you got your new power," Veteran started. "Yeah?" I said curiously. "We gotta train ya. And since I am- I mean WAS the strongest out of us all, I am gonna train you." I smiled, knowing my secret crush (yeah I developed feelings for Veteran, ok?) was gonna train me. "Come, follow me to the PE room." Veteran said. I followed him to the PE room.

"This is so stupid!" I exclaimed, trying to activate my beam. "I look so weird doing this!" Veteran chuckled, sending shivers down my spine. "You gotta focus, Player. Focus and concentrate..." I did what he told me and pretended the wall was some bully beating up any of my friends. I then suddenly fired a large beam at the wall. "Holy shit!" Veteran exclaimed, shocked. I could see why he was so shocked. The wall literally had a crack. I gasped, realizing how much damage I could do to another person. "Dude, I never knew how much damage a purple could do... until now..." Veteran said. "Me neither." I replied, looking at my hands and wrist.

(Time skip: after school)

Veteran walked off the schoolyard with me. Dum. Gnome, Stoner, Captain and Wizard already went home. I stopped at the point where we had to part ways to our own homes. "Thank you Vet." I said. "For what?" Veteran asked. "For everything. Thanks to you, and the anti-bullying friend group, I could still feel happy, even with blue. If you never asked me to eat with you, I still would be hanging out on my own and Dum and Gnome. Thank you, again." I hugged Veteran. Veteran hesitated before hugging me back, chuckling. "You're welcome, Play-Play." I blushed at the nickname. I then let go of Veteran and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I didn't know why, but something told me I just had to do it, so I did it. Veteran's head was beet red. Almost as red as my beanie. I felt myself blush too. Dum was squealing. "Well uhh... bye!" I said, before running off. I saw Dum whisper something to Veteran before running up to me while giggling. We then walked home together.

Veteran's P.O.V. (A few moments before the kiss)

Player and I walked off the schoolyard and were about to part ways when he stopped. "Thank you Vet." Player said. I was a bit confused. "For what?" I asked. "For everything. Thanks to you, and the anti-bullying friend group, I could still feel happy, even with blue. If you never asked me to eat with you, I still would be hanging out on my own. Thank you, again." Player replied. He then hugged me. I blushed and hesitated before hugging him back while chuckling. "You're welcome, Play-Play." I said. Player then did something I never expected him to do. He kissed me, on the cheek. I felt my face burn. Player was blushing too. Dum was squealing. "Well uhh... bye!" Player said before running off. Dum stayed and leaned in to whisper something. "He likes you." She giggled before running off to Player again. I watched them walking off, feeling super flustered.

I then started walking to my own house, thinking to myself. Player likes me?! Never expected that...

When I came home I decided to go to my room and think some more. I decided to confess the next day.

(Time skip: the next day)

I walked to school. I had made myself ready and feasted on some toast. I then went to school.

At school I saw my friends and also Player. He seemed nervous. Hmm... I wonder why...

I walked up to them and we started talking. I would confess to Player at lunch break after eating.

(Time skip: at lunch break)

We were outside because we were done eating. My friends and I (except Captain and Stoner went to the restroom) were talking. Player was looking at his power, proudly. I smiled seeing him so happy.

"Hey guys, have ya seen Captain yet?" We heard. It was Stoner. He walked up to us. "Nope, haven't seen him." I replied. "Shit." Stoner said. Player looked around. He then saw something and ran off. We followed him.

Player stopped at the door, where Captain got beaten up. He was probably hanging with Bill in the library and then wanted to go outside, but the bullies decided to ruin that. Player felt angry, I saw it. He fired a beam at the bullies, causing them to smack into the wall and door. The door got a crack, since it was made of glass. Stoner ran up to Captain and helped him up. "I'll bring you to the nurse, now." He said. He went inside with Captain. Bro, Greaser and MrCheese sat on the ground, rubbing their sore parts where they smacked the wall or door. "Fuck, we need to go." Bro said. He and the other two stood up. "Yes, go! It wasn't even my full power!" Player exclaimed. The bullies ran away, stumbling on their way.

Player, Wizard, Dum, Gnome and I looked at each other. I then remembered I would confess to Player. Due to this epic scene I forgot about it. "Uh, Player, can we... go somewhere private? I have to tell you something." I said. Player nodded. I saw Dum and Gnome smirk at us. Wizard just smiled.

I led Player to some place behind the school. It was the place where Stoner always smokes. Now that it was empty, I could perfectly use it for confessing to Player.

"Player, I need to tell you something..." I said. "Ok, what is it?" Player asked. "I... oh my god, how do I say this? I... I have a... crush on... you..." I felt my face burn so hard I thought it was real fire. "Wow... Veteran... I feel the same! That's why I kissed your cheek yesterday." I blushed even more, if that's possible. Player blushed too, almost as red as his beanie. "Can you- oh god my face is burning. Can you kiss me again? I liked it when you kissed my cheek." I said. Player smiled. He leaned in and kissed my lips. I kissed back and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me too.

We pulled away after a few minutes. "That was nice, heh..." Player said awkwardly. "Does this mean we are a thing now." I smiled and intertwined our fingers. "Yes." I said.

We went back and told our friends the big news. They were happy for us and Dum and Gnome started fangirling and nosebleeding. We then went inside again to continue our school day.
