"Hey, can I get your number?" I asked casually to the waitress.

"Sure! Give me your phone."

The redhead watched the raven haired woman's dainty tan hands typed her phone number in. She couldn't get over how gorgeous the woman was. Mila found herself blushing soon after Sara returned her phone.

"What's your name?"

"You alright?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, it's just that you are gorgeous!" She complimented.

"You are too!"

"Hey, shouldn't you get back to work?" I asked nervously. "I'm probably distracting you-"

"-Nah, I'm on break." The Italian responded.

"More like I just got off, you're the last customer."

I whipped my head around, the time had passed so fast...hold on...I sat at that table for an hour?!

"Okay...I'll be there by at least 12."

"YURI PLISETSKY, I KNOW WHERE THE RINK IS FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" She shouted over the phone to her rink-mate, gaining stares and laughs from the people who were passing by.

Even though she couldn't see it, she knew the russian was smirking through the phone, content with what he had done. She walked down the street talking to her rinkmate, annoyed at him.

She stopped when she found herself mesmerized by a waitress at a coffee she was walking by. Her raven hair, tanned skin and striking violet eyes. When the waitress went into the shop, she started walking over then stopped.

"Shit...I'll call you back." She hung up the phone on Yuri.

I walked into the coffee shop, it might as well have been a full-fledged restaurant.

Cooks bustling from the counter back into the kitchen, silver trays and platters flying about. The eager tapping of feet from waitresses and baristas, ready to take countless orders. Pleasant aromas drifted around the coffee shop, the strong coffee overpowered the smell of pizza and various berry tarts.

Through all of that commotion, the same waitress she was staring at stood out the most. Her trance was snapped when she was pushed by a waiter, the same tan skin, violet eyes, but he had brown hair.

"Hold on, are you her sibling?" I pointed to the girl serving a table.

"Oh, yeah I'm her brother." He walked off in a hurry.

People started to flood the exit, I sat at an empty space as quick as I could. Shit...I was sitting at a table!

"Oh thank God." The waitress sighed, coming over to me. "The early rush hour is over!"

"Early rush hour?"

"Every day we have over three hundred customers between the time of seven and ten in the morning."

"Oh damn..."

"Now, what would you like to eat or drink?"

"I want a molten chocolate latte with a marble cake."

"Miss, it's only 10:45."

"Fine, I'll take that latte with a BLT."

"Extra bacon."

"Pfft-"

"What's so funny?"

"You did something that is just like what I'd do!"

"Well bring me my food, get yourself a coffee and we'll keep talkin'."

"Where are you from anyway, I love that accent."

"I'm Italian."

"Russian."

The waitress bought her the food and she sat down with a cup of coffee.

"That was fast."

"It's one of the benefits of working at a popular coffee shop."

"So...hobbies?'"

"Ice skating-"

"But that's more of my career, this waitress thing is a part time job."

She looks and sounds so familiar, do does her brother, but I just can't put my finger on who they are.

"Hey, can I get your number?" I asked casually to the waitress.

"Sure! Give me your phone."

The redhead watched the raven haired woman's dainty tan hands typed her phone number in. She couldn't get over how gorgeous the woman was. Mila found herself blushing soon after he waitress returned her phone.

"What's your name?"

"Mila Babicheva."

"Oh my God, you probably want to leave this place, I'll be going."

"Huh, I was really hoping we could talk for longer."

"Maybe we will-"

I took out my phone and texted Yuri.

I'll be late.
