"Are you ready?" Jackson was leaning at the door while I was busy putting my earring at my ear. I stood up and smiled at him

He was wearing a black tuxedo with a black tie. I was wearing a black dress that hugged my curves, not that I have one honestly.

Me and Jackson head out. Hyunwoo and sam had also already prepared to go

The cute tuxedo made sam even more cuter which made me smile. "Brother who's getting married though?" Hyunwoo asked Jackson

He had a smug look on his face "You'll see when we get there"

We got in the car that we're using to go to the place where the event will be held. The engine started and made its way to our destination

"Sir, the event will be starting in 30 minutes Ms. Hana would like to let you know" Hana's butler said, not looking at hyunjin but bowing down to show respect

"Tell her I'll be there" Hyunjin idly says. Glancing over at the pills he's supposed to take every 24 hours to make his health 'better'

He started to made his way outside the dressing room. He walked down the hallway which led to the event

As soon as Hyunjin steps his foot at the venue, everyone's attention went to him as if Hyunjin was a magnet of attention

Hana smiled at Hyunjin and slid her hands at Hyunjin's arm. Hyunjin smiled, creating an act for everyone to see

Everyone raised their wine glass and started to hit it with the fork creating noises "Congratulations on your engagement!" They yelled as they continously hit the wine with a fork, gently.

The couple bowed with a smile and made their way on the stage

The people cheered for them but honestly they were only there to make connections with the Hwang, not to congratulate them because they were happy for them

Hyunjin knew that more than anyone else. He oddly remembers it but he doesn't feel that his memories are coming back yet

For now he couldn't fully trust this woman who was beside him, not until he regains all of his memory back to prove that this woman was really the love of his life

Hyunjin was always a cautious man. That overly cautious attitude had made him successful on leading his company and being a good leader of the Hwang Family

After that Hana and Hyunjin started to greet their visitors by going to their table and striking up a conversation to make them feel welcomed and comfortable

"I'm so happy for you and Hana, Hyunjin." An old woman said which Hyunjin only responded with a smile and a slight bow "By the way what happened with your rumored girl that you're living with? Was that rumor true that you were living with a lowlife woman with no sort of status and with your child that she gave birth with?" Hyunjin's eyebrows slowly furrowed at what she said

"Ah, I guess that was all a rumor then. Considering the fact that you look so puzzled right now young man" she chuckled and waved her hands at him as she walked away

Hyunjin was left wondering. What that old woman said made him even want to retrieve his memories fast

Suddenly, people started to whisper. Hyunjin glanced over the commotion at the entrance and saw a familiar man

"Mr. Wang, meet my son he will be taking over next year and I hope he can do business with you as per your payment for our family helping you" the familiar voice of hyunjin's dad echoed as hyunjin's flashback started to get clearer

The man that was at his memories started to get clearer. The man at the entrance was Jackson Wang

The head of the Higher ups

Hyunjin's eyes went over to the girl wearing a black dress that hugged her curves. The lunatic woman he met in front of his mansion's gate

Why was she with him?

He was about to head over when he saw a familiar child that had caught his attention because the child was staring directly at him

"Daddy!"

A child's voice echoed through his ears. "Father? Father!" He snapped back in reality when Jihoon's voice slowly replaced the familiar child's voice that was echoing in his ears

"Y-Yes Jihoon?" He asked and caressed Jihoon's head

"Mother's calling for you" Jihoon said. Hyunjin glanced at Hana who was waiting for him

"Y/n isn't this.." Hyunwoo hesitated to point out. I knew what he was talking about, this event that we're attending was not just some normal event of a couple. It was hyunjin and Hana's engagement party

I glared at Jackson's back that was facing us hoping that he can feel the daggers I'm shooting at him at his back

We had caught everyone's attention because Jackson was with us

What is he up to?

I decided to stay silent. I, myself, was also getting kind of curious on what Jackson's planning

"Greetings." Jackson said with a smug look on his face

Hana and Hyunjin was in front of us and her eyes widened when she saw me. I didn't bother to show any emotions on my face

I tried my best to put on a composed facial expression. There was a kid gripping on hyunjin's tuxedo, hiding behind his back

I glanced over at Sam who seemed to have already noticed the kid because he was already staring at him

"M-Mr. Wang I didn't expect you to come-!" Hana was cut off by Jackson grabbing a random wine glass at the waiter that was passing by and handed the wine bottle to Hana

"Mind pouring me some wine, Ms. Park?" Jackson asked. There was a moment of silence. I can see Hana gulped and slowly poured wine for Jackson

"Ah, gracias" he thanked in spanish, he slightly lift his wine glass up and back down as he smirked at Hana who was getting nervous

"I-I have assigned a table for the W-Wang Family" she stuttered

Wang family, my supposed to be father who left me and Hyunwoo isn't here with us. I suppose Jackson didn't tell them about the invitation

"Aww how sweet of you to assign us a special seat Ms. Park" Jackson smiled and Hana led us to our table

I didn't look at Hyunjin, nor acted like I know him. It was useless, he still hadn't got his memory back and half of me is still frustrated about what he said when I slapped Hana

"Wow you didn't even look at him" Hyunwoo wowed after hyunjin and his 'fiancèe' had left

"Jackson what are you up to?" I squinted my eyes at him and he laughed "Just sit back and enjoy the show, my dear little sister"

And just what Jackson had told me to do, I leaned back on my chair and crossed my arms as I watched how hyunjin was all laughs and smiles with Hana

It makes me wanna kick him where it hurts the most

Jackson kept on glancing over at his watch as if he's waiting for something, or waiting for a specific time to do something

I observed him and a couple of minutes he finally let his hand down and a smile appeared on his face "Uhm we will be having Mr. Wang at stage today to send his utmost speech for the couple" the MC suddenly called him

Everyone clapped as Jackson went up the stage and took the mic from the MC "Hello everyone, you may all already know who I am and congrats to the couple about their engagement but I also want to announce something" he glances over at me which made me widen my eyes

Jackson, you motherfucking asshole.

"My lovely family please come up to the stage" Hyunwoo and I looked at each other. I send Hyunwoo a 'Don't listen to him' look but I guess me living away from him for a couple of months had affected our telepathic ability because he can't understand me anymore

He nodded and smiled. He grabbed sam and hopped on the stage as I face palmed. I had no choice but to stand up and walk on the stage

"They, ladies and gentlemen, are my siblings and this is my nephew" he lifted Sam up "Me and my siblings got separated and I searched for them for how many years and I finally found them, we're now reunited, and she..." he looked back at me and drag me to the spotlight

"She is the next head of the Wang Family!" Jackson said with joy in his voice "I just wanted to let you know in case you mess with her and regret it later on"

I couldn't help but to look at Hana's perplexed face slowly turning into a face of fear. I could feel Jackson staring directly at her while giving her a smile

She was terrified alright. Then finally, I laid my eyes on Hyunjin. He was also shocked and seemed speechless about what Jackson said

Does he remember something?

Whispers started to erupt the whole room and I can feel everyone's eyes were on me. Their eyes were full of greed

I suddenly remembered what Felix said. That's why they're looking at me like that because they know a new person that they can get close with so they can earn power

Jackson had put me in a tight spot before I even knew it.

"Okay! That was all for Mr. Wang's announcement. Now..." we got off the stage and walked past by Hana but Jackson stopped

"Ms. Park" Jackson said and leaned in closer to her "Don't think that I don't know what you have done to my sister. I'll give you five days to set everything right, if not then mark my word, your company will fall and the Park Familia will vanish into thin air like it never existed in the first place" He said and pats her shoulder

He stops at Hyunjin and scoffed "estúpido perdedor" he says before walking away. He's so childish, speaking other languages to curse on people

"Did you understand what he said?" Hyunwoo asked

"From what I can remember during my spanish classes, he just called hyunjin a stupid loser" Hyunwoo burst out laughing and ran up to Jackson to compliment him

"Let's go home" Jackson said

"We're already going home?" With furrowed eyebrows, Hyunwoo asked. "We already gave them their engagement present. There's no more reason to stay longer, it'll only be a waste of time and the Wang Family's time is gold" he raised his hand and rubbed the thumb, index and middle fingers together that indicates 'money'

I snorted. I can now see why the mafia's fear him, he can be quite intimidating and scary

+I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH LMAOOO I got help from google but I do know a little Chavacano NOTE; If you didn't know Chavacano is a spanish-based language varieties that is spoken in the Philippines on the region Zamboanga City (where my great grandmother from my grandmother side lives, to be short my grandmother's mother and also the mother of my grandfather also knows how to speak that language- my great grandparents, grandparents, and my aunt and uncles and also my mother knows how to speak the language. Meanwhile I'm too lazy to know the language, I only know a curse word in Chavacano because my family would constantly say that 😭)
