Hana pulled the trigger and a gunshot erupted which made my eyes shut, accepting that the bullet was going directly at me but I didn't feel anything

I heard a thud sound like a body falling to the ground. I opened my eyes and saw Hyunwoo with a frying pan and Hana which was now unconscious

The bullet actually went to the wall at my back that's why I didn't get shot. Hyunwoo exhaled and straightened his back "They really knocked me out pretty good"

The men in black was about to lunge towards Hyunwoo but Hyunwoo snatched Hana's gun and pointed it to her head "If you take one step your master will have to meet her end" he smiled

Wow, as if he can pull the trigger. He's too soft hearted to actually kill a person

The men in black stopped because they had no choice "I already called Backup" backup? What he means with backup is Jackson, right?

"Where's the kids?" Hyunwoo asked. I just hoped Sam reached his headquarter safely and as for Jihoon.. he wasn't there the last time I've seen him at

"Looking for them?" The woman in the white mask showed up with both Jihoon and Sam in her hands. She dragged the both of them and made them kneel to the ground

"Mommy..." Sam cried. The white masked woman pulled out a gun and pointed it at Sam's head

"Pick who'll you'll save dear y/n, your son or your nephew?" I couldn't see it but I know underneath the mask she's showing off a devilish smile showing that she's enjoying it

"Please, it's me you want right? Just kill me but please leave them alone" I pleaded. She giggled and tilted her head at me

"How could I kill my own bestie?" She said which made me furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Her hands went up to her mask and slowly took it off

My world stopped. The person satnding right before me was no one other than my highschool best friend, Yuri

"Yuri" I couldn't believe it. I never expected this twist in my life, the friend who I trusted the most was the one who did this to us "How could you do this?" I started to tear up

"Is it my fault that you were dumb enough to actually trust me?" She laughed and placed the gun at Jihoon's head "So what is it now Y/n!? Is it Jihoon or Sam?"

"Stop! If you're going to pull the trigger to either of them I will shoot Hana right here, right now!" Hyunwoo yelled. Yuri only smiled at him

BANG!

My eyes widened when Hyunwoo suddenly vomited blood. His hands were shaking while placing it on his chest that was now bleeding

"HYUNWOO!" I yelled and my eyes went to the head maid that was the one who shot him

"Good job!" Yuri clapped her hands "I knew you had it in you!" Hyunwoo's body slowly fell to the ground while his eyes were locked into mine.

"No no no no! Why are you doing this!?" I couldn't even go to Hyunwoo because the men in black pointed their guns at me preventing me from going to him

"Simple, I just want all of the Wang members to be dead and we, who always came second in power would rise and sit on the throne that was rightfully ours."

"Rightfully yours? ha.." I laughed, right now I'm starting to lose my mind.

My head fell back as I let out a scoff of ridicule. My mouth formed a smile while my gaze went back at her

"Wherever the Wang is the throne will always follows us. That is the truth, and it will always be." I can feel Yuri's anger roaring. She let out a 'tch' and pointed the gun on sam's head

"The throne will not follow anyone if their King is dead" I watched as her hands slowly pulled the trigger. My eyes slowly widened and my whole body ran to sam but I know that I won't make it

A gunshot erupted along with the gunshot of the gun Yuri was holding but her body wobbled which made her aim go to the ground as some kind of force
pushed her back

My attention went to the door "Felix?"

Yuri's shoulder was now bleeding. She hissed at Felix who was standing at the door with a roulette in his hands

He played with the gun by spinning it continously using his index finger (idk lol)

"Lee Felix" She said with pure anger in her voice. Her hands gripped on her bleeding shoulder

The men in black pointed their guns at felix but their body stiffened and they suddenly all collapsed

"I have assigned snipers around the area, one move and you'll see the light of death" Felix let out a small giggle at the end of his sentence

"Why are you doing this? What's your goal on helping the Wangs?"

"I look up to Jackson Hyung so much so I won't allow you to destroy his family and I might need his favor someday, it'll be troublesome to be enemies with the Wangs." He shivered at the memory of how he was locked up because of what he did to Y/m

"Yep... it's unpleasant to be their enemy" He mumbled

"Why don't you join with me? You can be my knight and with you we can defeat the Wang family, that way we won't have any troublesome enemies!" She was really doing her best to try to negotiate with Felix

Felix scorned at her and slowly walked towards her. "No thanks, I'm a king on my own chessboard"

He reloaded the roulette and placed it on her forehead "Checkmate."

Just when I thought he was about to pull the trigger at her head he pointed it at her leg instead and shoots

Yuri screamed in agony. The pain made her kneel to the ground

"I won't let you die so easily, they say painless death is a blessing and I don't have any plans of giving you that blessing" He chuckled

"Yo Y/n! Jackson is already coming here so you need to get your brother and bring him outside, he doesn't have much time." As soon as Felix said that I remembered Hyunwoo's situation

I ran towards Hyunwoo and ripped a part of my clothers to stop his bleeding. I checked his pulse and he was still alive

"Hyunwoo hold on, Jackson's coming" I said to him. More blood was gushing out from his mouth which made him cough

"Ah I should've ate the last bag of chip in the refrigerator if I knew it would've turned out like this" He laughed

"Hey! Stop talking like you're dying because you're not. I won't allow it" I paused as tears started to build up "I haven't repaid you for all of the years you've taken care of me" my voice breaking

Hyunwoo weakly chuckled "I'm sorry Y/n"

"Why are you apologizing, idiot" I put more pressure on his wound. I didn't care if my hands were now covered in his blood, as long as this can prevent from losing him.

"The truth is... our grandparents from our mother's family came to me, they wanted to take us in but I refused them because of my pride. If I had accepted their offer you could've had a life where you could smile and laugh without worrying if we had enough money to eat"

"No, I don't care about that. Yes you didn't accept their offer but I'm not angry at you because of that. If you had accepted their offer we wouldn't have met Jackson and Sam wouldn't exist. I'm not sad of the life we had lived, because you were in it" I smiled at him. He let out a small weak chuckle

"You wouldn't say this cheesy things unless I'm in a brink of death" He laughed

"Shut up." I said

"Y/n! Hyunwoo!" Jackson's voice echoed. Oh how I'm happy to hear thag voice for once

"Jackson! Hyunwoo got shot we need to take him to the hospital quick!" Jackson saw Hyunwoo who was covered in blood

"Hi bro" Hyunwoo formed a peace sign and let out a 'hehe'

Jackson's attention went to the head maid who was still standing there with the gun she used to shoot Hyunwoo, she seemed stunned of what she did

Jackson was about to go to her to kill her but Namjoon grabbed his shoulder

"Jackson that's not exactly wise to do in this situation. Hyunwoo needs immediate treatment. If not, he will die" Namjoon sternly said while gripping on Jackson's shoulder

Jackson was left with no choice. They immediately carried Hyunwoo to the car. The white polo Jackson wore for the court today was now covered with blood

I had Sam and Jihoon in my hands while we were running to the car

I stopped in my tracks when another car stopped at the front. My whole body stiffened when I saw Hyunjin going out of the car

"Y/N!" I was much more surprised to see Minho "We came right away as soon as we heard what was going on in Jackson's mansion" He huffed

"Yeah, someone's fiancé formed an alliance with an old friend of mine who had a knife at my back all along" I rolled my eyes at Hyunjin and he seemed to get my point of who's the fiancè is

"Oh- well leave the kids to us and go" minho offered

I accepted it. I don't really want Sam to see Hyunwoo's state

I crouched at Sam's level. He was crying "Mommy, will uncle Hyunwoo be okay?" He asked. I smiled and wiped his tears that were falling

"Don't worry sweetie, he'll be okay and once he does you're going to eat a lot more chips with him okay? For now, stay with Minho and Jihoon" He only nodded

I stood up and smiled at minho. Hyunjin and my eyes met. He didn't say anything, or atleast he couldn't say anything. He was hesitating

I went in the car and we went to the hospital.

"Why didn't you told her you remember her?" Minho asked Hyunjin

"I couldn't." He said and looked at Sam

He couldn't help but to blame hiself for all of this, if only he didn't chase Hana. No, if only he didn't force y/n to give sam to him and to live with him

He put them in great danger and he even forgot about them. It's his fault.

He shouldn't have brought them into his world where happiness doesn't exist

He kneeled down to Sam and hugged him tight. "H-Hyunjin?" Minho was left in pure shock

"I'm sorry Sam, I wasn't a good father to you" He said and broke the hug to look at Sam

"Daddy" Sam said while crying. Hyunjin smiled and stood up

"Minho.. take them to a safe place"

"Huh? What are you going to do?" Minho asked

"I'm going to end everything" He said and ran to the mansion. He saw Felix with a girl that was tied up into a chair, he was pointing a roulette gun to her head and her nails were gone

Felix did some cruel torture on her. "Oh! Hyunjin finally back to your senses? We were just playing russian roulette, care to join?"

"Where's Hana?" His eyes wandered around the house but she was nowhere to be found

"She was just unconscious at the ground moments ago- agh she escaped. Wait.." Felix's eyes slowly widened when he felt something was missing

"Hawk? Are you there?" He called through the walkie talkie. His snipers that he assigned around are not responding, which means someone took them down

"Hyunjin, someone else is here" Felix's face turned serious and Hyunjin was on high alert

"We meet again, Hyunjin" the familiar voice, Hyunjin already know who it was

"Bang Chan" He furrowed his eyebrows at the man standing at the door

"Y/n I'm sorry" Hyunwoo kept on saying that

"Stop that! Namjoon drive faster! We're almost there Hyunwoo so just hang on, please!" I have a very uneasy feeling with what Hyunwoo is saying

He kept on coughing up blood. "Heh... you know better than anyone that I won't make it in time y/n"

"No! Stop saying that, you will make it in time!" I hate him for saying that

His hands went to mine and gripped it tightly. He stared at my eyes and smiled "I might not show it but I had always cherished you Y/n, I always have. You were the only person I had in my life and I was your only one too but" he paused and looked at Jackson

"Now, you can be happy without me" He said with a smile

I couldn't stop my tears. "Hyunwoo..." I called and hugged him burying my face on his shoulders

"I love you too, brother" He let out a small chuckle

"I haven't heard you call me brother since you were 5, I'm glad I heard it again. For the last time" He smiled

The car went to a stop and the nurses immediately went to Hyunwoo and brought him to the ER

The nurse stopped me from going inside and I was left there, feeling as if I had just lost a part of me.

My knees gave up on me and I kneeled to the ground. Jackson crouched down beside me and pulled me into a tight hug, gently rubbing my shoulder with his chin on my head

"Jackson, he'll be fine right? " I said with my voice cracking

"I'm not...sure" that was all Jackson said and we fell into silence waiting for the doctor to come out

"Time of death 8:54pm"
