🦋Chapter One🦋

"I'm flattered."

"YOU'RE GOING TO PASS OUT IF you keep freaking out about this, Fey." I chuckled, trying to help the other fairy with a speed reading spell.

"Easy for you to say, Tink! You already know what specialty you're going to pick!" The brunette sighed, pointing to my Introduction to Enhancing book.

I rolled my eyes good-naturedly, before taking out my slender silver wand and intentionally flicked it. Pixie dust swirled around Fey's book, before a green bookmark appeared in it, before my magic closed the textbook.

"How about we take an hour break and come back to this later?" I suggested, sending a kind smile to the other fairy. "Some of the other Hollow fairies and I are going to stop by Swan Lake for a bit of shopping. Why don't you join us?"

"I'd love to, Tink, but I really should figure out this spell." Fey thanked, before turning back to her studies.

"I'll see you back at the Dorm. If you still need help with your homework, I can help in the more traditional way." I laughed, gesturing towards the speed reading situation.

"I might have to take you up on that." She chuckled, waving goodbye to me.

"See you at lunch!" I said, before getting up and heading into the school, mentally preparing myself for History of Magical Objects.

"WELL IF IT ISN'T TWO OF MY favorite people!" I cheered, as I entered the common area, after classes ended. "Hey, Elle. Hey, B."

Ella and Bridget, as well as the two unfamiliar girls with them, turned at the sound of my voice. A faint ringing echoed in my mind the second I laid eyes on the new pair.

"Hey, T." Ella grinned, as I hooked arms with Bridget.

"Hi, Tink." The pink haired girl chirped before turning to the (I'm assuming) new girls. "Chloe, Red, this is Tinkerbell. Tink, these are the new transfer students!"

"Like the Tinkerbell?" The one who I now know as Red, asked.

"Aw, have you guys been bragging about me! I'm flattered!" I teased my friends, dramatically placing a hand over my heart. "It's nice to meet you guys, and if you have any fairy questions, I'm your girl!"

"We'll definitely keep that in mind." Chloe agreed, smiling excitedly at me.

"Awesome! Now, I heard Uliana got a little pink in the face while I was in Honors Divination." I joked, a mischievous smirk on my face. "Tell me everything!"

"I feel awful!" Bridget groaned, ducking her head in unnecessary guilt.

"Hey, you warned her and she didn't listen! Uliana is the only one at fault here!" Ella protested, sharing a knowing look with me.

"As far as I'm concerned it's been a long time coming." I sassed, earning a high five from Ella.

"It was almost instantaneous karma!" Red laughed, an excited glint in her eyes.

"The folding money I would pay to have been there." I sighed, dramatically staring into the distance.

"Oh! I almost forgot!" I suddenly exclaimed, my plans for after class reemerged into my mind. "Some of the Pixie Hollow fairies and I are going Castlecoming shopping in the fae realm! Do any of you want to come?"

"As intrigued as I am by the Fae Realm, we have homework." Red shrugged, seemingly stopping Chloe from talking.

"I'll pass, I don't think Vidia likes me very much." Ella explained, pointing towards the doorway. There stood my raven haired friend, her arms crossed and an impatient scowl was present on her face.

"She'll warm up to you." I insisted, before turning to Bridget. "Are you in, B?"

"Sure! I need to get all dolled up so Ella and I can be the prettiest girls at the party!" The pink haired princess giggled.

"I have to grab something from my dorm really quickly, but can you wait by the portal for me?" I asked, earning a nod in return. Once Bridget was gone and Ella seemed distracted, my smile dropped and I turned to Red and Chloe.

"Now who wants to explain to me why you both reek of Chronomancy?" I snarked, my arms crossed and brows raised in suspicion.

This better be good.
