"Has that happened before?" I look up at Josh as we both wait outside for Jenna and Tyler. I know he can tell that I'm ashamed of all the attention on me then running off. Because I know Tyler and Jenna saw me.

"With other topics. Yeah." I say crossing my arms.

"So they didn't know you had it?"

"They did but Samantha, the one who shouted that is one of the girls who bully me."

"Oh I see. You scared me for a moment when you dropped the shield and ran."

"Why?" I question.

"You looked so fearful of what was being cast upon you. With everyone seeing you like that and being pointed out for something that wasn't true. You looked really scared."

I bite my lip and look away. I thought the worst case scenario and I didn't know what to do. I hear him sigh and I almost feel like I've done something wrong. Disappointed Josh is Scary Josh.

"Me, Jenna, Tyler. We'll help you if you need it." 

I open my mouth to say something, but nothing comes out so I try to think of something to say and shut it.

"You're a nice kid so I think you should try not let that get to you."

"That's difficult." I cough.

"I know it's hard. But you can't give up. Try be strong, you have people who care about you. Sarah, now me Tyler and Jenna."

I turn to look at him again and he smiles at me. "I've panicked before too so you're not alone if you think you'll ever panic. If you need some help, just give a shout."

He gives a thumbs up and I instinctively return one. "Thanks, Josh."

"No problem."

"Hey!" Tyler pops up suddenly.

It was out of the blue and it scares Josh for a moment and even me. Tyler laughs as Josh exhales and looks away. Hearing his laugh makes me grin slightly.

"Okay, so...we're gonna go to me and Jenna's house and you have a room you can put your bag in. We can show you around if you'd like."

I give an OK sign and Tyler huffs. "I shall take that as a yes."

"C'mon dude." Josh smiles.

"Let's go Jenna! And Kiriana!"

"Oh." Josh says sadly.

"And Josh." I say.

"AND Josh!" Tyler repeats.

"Did you really just forget about him?" Jenna asks with a grin.

"I didn't mean to!" He laughs.

I get into the backseat with Josh as Tyler and Jenna sit in the front.

"So, what other hobbies do you have that you haven't told us about yet?" Tyler asks.

Josh chuckles and I smile trying to not laugh with him. "No, honestly that's it. I don't mind cooking though."

"Ooh! You can help me cook." Jenna grins.

"Awwww." Tyler whines. "I don't get to help Jenna cook anymore." We all have a small laugh as he starts up the car and leaves.

Time to say my goodbyes to the Orphanage I grew up in. A watch the building fade from distance as I leave in this new car and onto streets I have never gone on. Yeah, I've lived my whole life inside the orphanage after Sarah rescued me. We never left the building other wise and I've never known any areas outside the orphanage so this is all new to me.

"So, what are you thoughts on leaving that place?" Josh asks.

"Hmm, it's mixed. I'll miss Sarah but I actually get to go elsewhere than being in there."

"Wait are you saying you've never stepped outside that orphanage ever?" Tyler asks me.

I shy away and cling to the side. "Whoa. Okay now that makes your anxiousness a bit more clearer." Josh says.

"So you don't really know you're aware outside of the building?" Tyler asks.

I shake my head. "That's insane. At least that'll change."

I nod. For now, I take in everything that comes into my view. All the new buildings, all the new trees. Passing by standers of faces I never seen before. My eyes dart literally all over the place as I try to get a good look of the scenery before it moves away.

I hear Josh laugh at me but I don't pay much attention. This is all new and I don't want to miss it. All these new colors that have never come to my sight before.

Eventually, the car slows down and turns into a driveway. My eyes widen with confusion. Where did we just turn into, I wasn't paying attention!

"We're here." The car stops moving and sits on one driveway. Jenna is the first to get out and I quickly dash to be the next.

I exit the car, being sure to not slam any of my fingers on the door. Phew.

I look up. "This is where you'll be living now. I hope you like it here."

It's a big white house. With some nice windows, curtains and wow...they even have a pool. I nice big one. There's a car garage that's beginning to open so I assume Tyler will drive the car in there. The house appears to be two stories and it has a nice back yard as well.

"Follow me Kiriana." Jenna calls.

"Josh can I take my bag please?"

"Sure." He passes me my bag and I happily take it before quickly following Jenna.

"Leave your shoes outside if you can." I nod and kick them off then put them nicely to the side. It feels more weird than you can imagine to follow Jenna into her house, to watch Josh follow us up and eventually Tyler. It feels weird. It seems my mind still hasn't settled on the idea that they...adopted me just yet.

The door opens and Jenna turns an alarm off. "Whoa, you have a really nice place!"

"Thank you!"

A nice tiled marble kitchen, a nice lounge with a cool brown couch and glass coffee table. There is more to go on but the place they have is so nice!

"Follow me to your room."

I proceed to follow Jenna where she leads me to an upstairs. She turns into one shut door and I follow her. My eyes widen for a moment. It was nice. Not completely packed but it had a couple things here are there. It had a black carpet, a plain yet nice Queen sized bed off to the wall. A nice circle window, one of those windows that you'd be able to sit in. An empty black bookshelf, empty white dressers, a long full body mirror and something on the bed.

A big, box...

Wrapped sparkly, with pastel purple wrapping and orange ribbon. Josh pokes his head in for a moment smiling.

"Do you want to open the box?"

I give her a look of surprise like I didn't know I had to do that then turn to the box.

I turn back and notice that Josh has left, but Tyler has popped in. Not to be rude, I decide to make my way to it. I pick up the box. It's heavy.

My heart beats. This is too nice, I'm already honored to be adopted by these guys. It's...

I lift up the lid to the box cautiously. Paying close attention not to ruin the wrapping just in case. I lift up the first thing that makes my eyes sparkle.

A TØP. Freakin. Beanie. The yellow one with the little tag symbol on the side, the yellow Trench Beanie. I look down at in aw like it's a precious artifact. My first, piece of TØP merch.

I'm afraid to turn and look back because that's not the only thing in the box. I pick up a TØP Trench Camo Hoodie, TØP Goner Box Girls Blurryface shirt, red charm bracelet, TØP drumsticks, and a laptop. The laptop box, which is Apple. My eyes widen. I try to analyze it carefully but I end up putting it down and turning around. red charm bracelet

When I do, Tyler and Jenna greet me with a smile. "Like your gift?" He asks.

"Jeez, you guys. You have no idea." A smile appears on my lips.

"This is so nice, I don't know what to even say!!" He chuckles at me and satisfied, Jenna walks away. "Thank you all so much!"

"No worries Kiriana. They're yours now. Treat them with care."

"I will. I promise!" 

He leaves and I turn back to the box. Oh. There's one more thing inside.

I pick it up and analyze it. This...

I sigh. It's a custom letter from the Team. I guess to welcome me. All signatures on the back. Two I recognize instantly to be Tyler and Josh's. I open it for a moment and have a quick scan. Yep, it's definitely welcoming me. I turn back. I should probably go back down and see if anything's around.

The bag I have on my back I put down beside my bed and I put everything back in the box, I can set the laptop up later. But the letter. There's a couple shelves, about three of them. I put the card on the lower shelf and move away from my room.

I make my way downstairs and all of them look in my direction. "What'd you think of the box?" Josh asks. "It's really nice. Thank you so all so much."

He smiles at me. Jenna also does before turning back to the kitchen. "Do you want some help?"

"That's very generous of you Kiriana. But you should settle in for a couple days and then I'll let you help me."

"Okay, fair enough." She seems happy with my response as I go to sit on the couch with Tyler and Josh.

There's a couple things on my mind, I tend to think ahead of time.

"Here. I noticed you already had a phone so you can have the WiFi and set whatever you need up. Since you didn't really get to at the Orphanage."

Tyler hands me a little card which has WiFi information on it, I thank him for it.

I quickly put in the pin before trying to figure out where he got from, which he just takes it from me and puts it away.

"So, do you want to ask anything?" Tyler asks.

"There is a main thing on my mind. For schooling wise."

"You would be going to collage at this age wouldn't you?" Josh asks.

"Yeah, I got home schooled at the Orphanage so I'm fine with that. But I wanted to know. You guys do your music videos, do your tours, go around the world sometimes for different interviews and such. Would I go to school or do homeschooling or online or...however that works."

Tyler thinks about it for a moment but seems unsure. "Oh, didn't think of that."

"Weoew." Josh says in a funny tone.

"HEY!" Me and Josh laugh with a grinning Tyler. "I'll have a think about that. Most likely it'll be homeschooling, good question." I nod acknowledging it.

"Anything else?"

"Not really. That was pretty much the only thing." I pause for a moment. "But just one more thing. Will public know about this, well obviously but when."

"They already knew we were going to adopt someone but we'll give it a couple days or maybe a week. This is different than a normal person being adopted. Because you'll be seen into the public eye." Jenna says thoughtfully.

"We'll probably give it a week, so you can settle in." Tyler nods. "You can make social media accounts. Just don't say anything about us yet."

I nod and give a thumbs up. "You still haven't seen the whole house yet! Uh, I'll probably stay if Jenna needs something. Josh, do you think you could tour her around?" Tyler asks.

"Yeah of course. Come with me Kiriana." I get up from the couch and stretch, before proceeding to follow Josh. He shows be the whole first floor. Bathroom, garage. Kitchen, lounge, Dining Room, back yard. Pool area. Then the top floor. Not going into Tyler and Jenna's room, my own. Spare room, second bathroom, another big room but empty.

"And up there, is an attic." He finishes off.

"Oh. That's scary."

He chuckles. "Yea, seems scary."

I nod. Wow, this place is really cool. I'll have to try remember where everything is. "So, that's pretty much it."

"Thanks for showing me around Josh." I grin.

"No problem. Oh, also you're name could probably go with a nickname like Tyler would be Ty and Jenna would be Jen." He suggests.

I get fearful for a moment. "Anything but KiKi."

"Okay, what about Kiri?" He reckons.

I smile slightly. "It's better than KiKi."

"Yeah, that's what those girls seemed to call you so I won't."

"Thank you." I sigh with relief.

"Josh! Kiriana! Dinner is ready." Jenna calls.

"Ready to go down?"

"Sure. I guess."

We head downstairs where Tyler and Jenna dish up some food.

"Also." I hear Josh say.

"I wanted to give you this myself because I wanted to see your reaction."

Josh puts something on my head and I freeze in case it moves. I freeze and tense up but the face I make seems to make everyone laugh.

"What, did you just....put on my head?"

"It's a snapback, it's fine."

Confused, I lift the thing off my head. Indeed it is! A Vessel cap. With the white logo, the cap being blue and orange.

"Whoa, thank you! This is all so nice for you to do." I say to all three of them.

"Well we thought you'd like it."

I don't really know how else to thank him other than smiling and grinning so I give him a quick hug. Not two seconds later does he hug me back. It feels like how Tyler hugged me before. Pure, safe, nice. Something I only felt with Sarah.

"Okay, we need to eat something. I should've asked before." Jenna says suddenly worried.

I pull away and throw the cap backwards on my head. Josh grins. "Perfect."

"Are you allergic to anything Kiriana?"

"I just hope you haven't put shrimp in, or plum."

"Okay you're good Jenna." She sighs with relief.

"Is that it?"

"Yeah."

"Okay then let's all eat some dinner!"

Kiriana can finally settle in a home now. Sure it may not be the home she expected and it'll take a bit of time to build up her trust to call it that, or call Tyler and Jenna Dad and Mom. There will be a lot for her to get used to now. She even got some merch as a welcome present from the whole team, and a hat from Josh personally! So, how are things going to change now? Kiriana is a bit interesting good and bad. So even when she's with Twenty One Pilots now, hopefully Clair and those three bullies will let her go. Or at least to not meet anybody from her past...
