Harumi's POV

Once I got back from our little 'shopping spree', I immediately went to my room, excited to try on my new outfits.

"They're perfect," I whisper to myself. "And the dress is nice and comfortable."

I decided to wear the dress and boots for the date tomorrow, and I would wear the sweater the rest of the day. A sudden knock on the door shook me out of my thoughts. I walked toward it and unlocked and opened it slightly. Through the small space, I saw Pixal standing in front of the door.

"Did you decide yet?" She asked quietly. I nodded in answer and opened the door to let her in.

"Where's Skylor?" I asked, looking around for the red haired girl.

"She stayed back to distract the others," Pixal replied.

"Oh, I almost forgot about them," I laughed. "Anyway, I decided on wearing the dress for the date, and then I'll wear the sweater the rest of the day."

"Sounds great!" Pixal responded. "Let's find some jewelry and maybe perfume."

"Kay," I replied. I had a few bottles of perfume and a some jewelry stored in my closet. I pulled it all out and showed Pixal them.

"Let's do perfume first," Pixal decided. "Which one's your favorite?"

"This one," I replied, showing her a clear plastic bottle. The perfume itself smelled like fresh strawberries, but I had another reason why it was my favorite. My biological father worked at an orchard when I was younger, and every evening he would come home smelling like fruit. I never payed much attention to it back then, and I had even gotten used to it. (A/N: also one of my headcanons)

But once I lost them, I missed that scent. The perfume always reminded me of him every time I wore it.

"Mmm," Pixal said, taking off the lid and sniffing it. "I like this one too. Do you want to wear any jewelry?"

"Just something simple," I responded.

"Okay," Pixal looked at each piece of jewelry carefully before choosing a bracelet with roses in different shades of pink, and a necklace with a silver rose on it. I put the jewelry on and looked at myself in the mirror.

"I really like this," Pixal smiled as I told her.

3rd POV

Harumi had changed back into her regular clothes and walked down the hallway, right past Lloyd's room.

"Psst..In here," Someone whispered from behind his door, making Harumi jump. She pushed the door open slightly, looking through the small space. On the other side she saw a pair of bright green eyes, matching a bright and happy smile and light blonde hair. Only Lloyd could fit that description.

"Oh, it's just you," Harumi said, relieved. Lloyd smiled as he opened the door, letting Harumi in. Spread out all over the floor were a few notebooks and multiple sheets of paper.

"Sorry about the mess, I haven't been organized with this at all," He said, stacking a few papers. Harumi sat down on his bed while Lloyd sat across the room from her.

"So," Harumi began. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Oh, well, I just wanted to know where you would want to go tomorrow," Lloyd blushed.

"Oh, umm, I'm not sure," Harumi rubbed the back of her neck.

"I've been looking at different ideas, but I just wanted to see if you were expecting anything first," Lloyd said shyly.

"Lloyd, no!" Harumi laughed. "It doesn't matter, as long as it's the two of us, I'll be happy." Harumi blushed at her last sentence.

"O-Okay, I think I have an idea anyway..," Lloyd replied. "I wanna make it a surprise though." 

Harumi giggled at Lloyd's cute expression as she stood up to walk out. Suddenly, she turned around sharply to face Lloyd, running toward him with her arms press out, ready for a hug. Lloyd took a step back, surprised, but hugged back willingly a second later.

"Thank you Lloyd," Harumi whispered.

"Of course. I'd do anything for you, Rumi," Lloyd replied with a smile.

The next day...

"Oh, come on!" Skylor shouted. She had just lost a game of Mario Kart to Pixal and Harumi, with Pixal in 1st place.

"You kept shooting at me!" Skylor yelled at Pixal.

"I didn't mean to!" Pixal shot back. Harumi looked up at the clock on the wall, and realizing how late it was, she jumped up quickly.

"Girls, it's time," Harumi told the other two. They both nodded. Skylor ran off to keep the ninja busy while Harumi and Pixal went to her room.

Halfway there, Pixal and Harumi bump into Nya. Rumi stood there, unsure of what to say or do.

"I need to talk to you Harumi," Nya told her. Pixal and Rumi looked at each other before the white haired girl nodded and followed Nya to her room. Nya let Harumi in and closed the door behind her.

"I really do want to trust you," Nya told the other girl. Harumi stayed quiet.

"I just don't want to see Lloyd get hurt again," Nya's eyes softened as she explained. "I care about him as if he's my little brother. I was a little suspicious the first time I saw you, I definitely didn't trust you with the whole 'Quiet One' thing."

"I am sorry. I regret everythin–" Harumi began.

"I know you do, I want to forgive you. It's hard though," Nya replied.

"How can I make it up to you guys?" Harumi asked.

"I-I don't know," Nya hesitated. "Just...take care of Lloyd today."

"W-What?" Harumi's head shot up.

"Don't think I didn't know about you two," Nya smirked. "But don't worry, I didn't tell anyone."

Harumi blushed. "Thank you,"

"It's alright Harumi," Nya replied. "I guess I should really say, I... I forgive you."

Harumi's eyes began to fill with tears. Nya pulled her into a hug, and Harumi hugged her back.

"I'll let you go now," Nya smiled, pulling away. "Have fun."

"Thanks again Nya," Harumi said before turning to open the door.

"No problem Harumi," Nya smiled back. Harumi walked out to where Pixal was waiting for her.

"What happened?" Pixal asked eagerly.

"She's not mad at me anymore," Harumi replied with a smile.

"Whew, I'll though she was yelling at you or something," Pixal laughed. The two girls quickly walked to Harumi's room and she began getting dressed while Pixal laid out her perfume and jewelry.

"Looks okay, right?" Harumi asked the female nindroid.

"Yes! It's beautiful!" Pixal replied happily.

"good," Harumi sighed with relief.

"Hey, don't be nervous!" Pixal told Harumi. "You'll be alright!"

"Thank Pix," Harumi replied, smiling. Pixal quickly put the necklace around Harumi's neck and placed the bracelet on her wrist. Harumi then sprayed a little of her perfume on herself before the two walked out of the room and down the hall.

Just then, Harumi got a text from Lloyd. She unlocked her phone and replied quickly.

Lloyd: you ready? :)

Harumi: yes, I'm in the game room now <3

Lloyd: Okay :DDD

Harumi: I love you too XD

Lloyd: we're going on my dragon btw :)

Harumi: 👌💚

Harumi smiled as she looked up from her phone to see Lloyd standing in front of her in a light green polo shirt, jeans, and brown boots.

"Hey, our boots match," Lloyd pointed out, laughing.

"You're right," Harumi giggled.

"Well, we should get going," Lloyd smiled, extending his hand. Harumi slid her her hand into his and followed him outside, completely happy to be alone with him.
