Sean's POV

I woke to a throbbing headache and the familiar smell of chlorine. I glanced around the place I was in and saw it was a pool, well to be precise, the pool in my hotel. I was in a pair of new swimming trunks and a note sat beside me.

Hey, sorry if you can't read this but I wanted to swim for a little so I bought a pair of shorts with your money. I could care less if you get mad, just wanted to let you know.

Standing up I walked over to the edge and slid into the water earning a calming sensation to flow through me. My eyes closed on their own and I sunk deeper into the water, only exposing my nose and eyes. The water was glowing faintly from the lights in it but it started to look green. A black and green mass shot through the water startling me back into reality. Anti suddenly formed in front of me and sunk deeper in the water as well.

"Oh, um hi!" I waved while relaxing.

He just glanced at me with bubbles coming from his mouth. I chuckled and sat down on the ledge that ran around the inside of the pool.

"How have you been?" He rolled his eyes and came up a bit letting the water fall from his mouth.

"Fine." I nodded wanting to ask him something.

"Anti? Do you know what happened to Signe? Tyler said she called him and said I broke up with her..." He looked surprised.

"I did." My chest clenched up.

"What! Why!?" He muttered something under his breath.

"What!"

"I said you deserve better than her." Anger boiled in my chest.

"I love her! You had no right to do that!" I jabbed my finger in his chest.

"She obviously didn't love you. While you were off doing your thing I did some snooping and found her cheating on you with some guy." I glared at him.

"Lair!"  He just rolled his eyes.

"Believe what you want, I know what she did. If you had the time I would show you the proof." I pulled his closer to me and shook him.

"You ruined my freaking life!" He easily threw my hands off and glared right back at me.

"You'll get over her. It's just a girl." I growled.

"FOOK YOU!"

"You would." He grinned slyly at me and winked.

I just pushed him away from me and got out of the pool and dried off. I could feel his piercing glare on the back of my head and I sharply turned.

"Stop fookin looking at me you arse!" A bright green light filled the room and the next thing I knew the concrete that was making up the wall of the pool was shattered next to him.

He looked at me clearly shocked and without warning everything stopped.

"How did you do that!?" I felt my eyelid and a searing pain traveled from my fingers up my arm.

"I don't fookin know!" I covered my eye with my hand.

"No! Don't do that, you idiot! You're gonna blow your fucking hand off!" He turned into his wispy form and floated up to me.

His warm hands wrapped around mine and looked me directly in my eyes.

"Calm down Seán. Please breath and calm down." I tried taking a shaky breath but my heart wouldn't slow down.

Another laser shot from my eye, narrowly missing Anti. I quickly felt his hand on my neck as I was hoisted off the ground. My lungs screamed for new air so I kicked out hitting him below his ribcage. He flinched but kept the hold on my neck. But without warning, he started coughing and let me go. I fell to the ground and rubbed my sore neck while taking deep breaths. I calmed down from that believe it or not. Anti knelt there coughing so I crawled over to him, lightly resting my hand on his back.

"Anti I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" he held up a hand.

"It wasn't you" a raspy cough left him "I'm fine, or, I'll be fine at least." I noticed his arms turning a darker shade of black.

"Anti your arms!" He glanced down at them.

"What about them?" I motioned to them.

"They're blacker than before." He just shook his head.

"I'm fine Jack." I nodded.

"... Anti?" He nodded.

"Are you ok about what happened?" He shot a look away from me.

"Stop bringing it up and I will be." I flinched back and rested my hands in my lap.

"Sorry......Were you two close?" He went to snap but stopped himself.

"Yeah. We were. As close as two guys could get without being gay at least. He was my brother, my partner, my best friend all rolled up into one." He sighed while rubbing his finger on the bracelet.

"I wasn't born very high on the chain of command, he was at the top. It was unlikely for us to get along but we did. We were even put together as partners in battle. We spared, we played, we laughed.... He was such a dick." Well, that took a turn.

"He was so prideful...Yet he was humble at the same time....It just depended on who you were to him. He was either an angel," something about that statement made him chuckle, "or a demon."

I smiled seeing how he lit up while talking about him.

"I'm sorry about what happened. I would have stopped it if I could..." He just smiled.

I saw the corners of his eyes start to get wet and he covered his mouth with a pained look on his face. He shouldn't hold it in.... I pulled him close to me and hugged him tightly. He released the stream of emotions in one swift movement and we sat there, him sobbing and whimpering occasionally.

"It will get better. Maybe not today, but eventually. I promise."

I know there hasn't been any Danti yet but be patient! I want to actually try in this story.
