I walked over to the park and under the bridge where the gang was waiting for me. I couldn't stop thinking about the boy I met. He was interesting, but more importantly the mask he wore made him look creepy as hell and covered his identity. Not to mention the body language, he was clearly thinking about something violent during our short time together, if the way he kept flexing his hands was anything to go by. "What the fuck took so long?" Wildcat questioned as he saw me walking up to them. 

"I was busy taking care of something" I replied, I didn't want to give them too much information. It'd been a while since we got a new member and I figured it was for the better they didn't know yet, since there was no guarantee he'd even want to join us. He did seem just as interested in me though, so I had hope for him. I sat against the bridge in my normal seat, across from Wildcat and next to Basically and Terroriser.

"Taking care of what?" Mini Ladd asked, sitting beside the lake that ran under the bridge. He hadn't even looked at me. He was too busy typing something on his phone to pay attention, nothing new. 

"Is it that new kid?" Nogla asked. I sighed, usually he's too busy thinking about food or Lui to pay attention to anything happening around him, but apparently he took his meds that morning. 

"You mean the one with that mask on?" Basically asked, moving closer to me. I pushed him away gently and rubbed my face. There wasn't exactly a way for me to keep it hidden. They'd find out eventually.

"Yeah. I'm thinking of adding him to the group." Right after I said that the whole group was looking at me, even Mini. There were some mixed reactions, but I could tell the majority of them disagreed with me.

"No fucking way man, that guy has some issues" Wildcat stated. I stared at him in anger while the others whispered between themselves until I heard Terroriser gasp.

"That's it! Vanoss you're a genius!" Terroriser exclaimed, the whole group turned their gaze to him and Moo caught up to his pace.

"He's right! This could be a really good thing for us." Moo reasoned. I had no idea what they were talking about but go on, tell me more.

The group was looking at both of them in shocked and confused looks. "You guys really think adding the new kid, who is probably the creepiest guy in the whole school, to hang out with US is a good idea?" Ohm asked, Wildcat agreed with him, obviously. "Yeah! The guy could be a total nutcase." Lui said.

"Less people would want to talk to him" Terroriser stated. I smiled at them and added, "Plus he's really quiet. He panics under pressure so it'd be hard to get a secret out of him." According to the rat I planted in his class. 

The group seemed to begin liking the idea of him being in the group. Well, everyone except Wildcat. We made a plan and they told me to go get him. "Why me!?" I was a bit confused, mainly pissed. I didn't want to walk all the way back there again. I hadn't even been there for half an hour!

"Because he knows you, he'd trust you more than any of us" Mini said beginning to push me away.

"Fine. I'll go retrieve him." I said walking off. I heard noise behind me and assumed it was someone else. I kept walking towards the school with my hands in my pockets and my mind on the guy. I didn't even get his name.

Once I got there I walked out back, and to a back door. Where Daniel was there, waiting for anyone from the group to come. He opened the door and I gave him five dollars. Obviously I paid him for letting us in and out.

"It's 1st lunch." Daniel said as I began to walk past. I stopped and turned to him. He knew everyone's name and had a book full of people's schedules. Life's easy when you're the principal's kid. Life's easier when you pay for said kid's drug addiction. Five bucks isn't a lot, but with how often some of my members were in and out of the school he made close to $100 a day. I was tempted to ask him about the new kid but I realized I didn't have his name. "Do you know that new kid with the hockey mask?" I wanted to know if he at least could identify him from that.

"Jonathan Dennis. Yes I got his schedule right here." He showed me a copy of Jonathan's schedule. I looked over it and saw he had 1st lunch. I thanked Daniel and handed him back the slip, along with $10 to keep him happy.

I walked off and began my search for Jonathan. I found him in the hall walking towards the lunchroom and walked up behind him, leaning over his shoulder and whispering in his ear. "Hello Jonathan" He nearly jumped out of his skin and turned to me, shoulders hunched up to his ears and hands flexing as soon as he saw me. Either he really didn't like me or that was a nervous habit.

"How did you know my name?" He asked, his voice a bit shaky. He sounded like he was about to laugh. Or sob. Maybe a bit of both.

"Word gets around quick here" I suddenly saw Luke, who was walking up to us staring at me. "Ah Luke, so good to see an old friend." I hated Luke's guts, actually. Just like he hated mine.

Jonathan looked at Luke, who looked as though he wanted to kill me. "Vanoss." He hissed. Jonathan looked at me and I could only expect what would come out of his mouth next.

"You two are friends?" Ok I was completely wrong, he already knew who I was.

Luke growled out "Far from it." and Jonathan took a small step away from me and my hand curled into a fist.

"I suspect you've already poisoned him with your nonsense Luke." 

"Poisoned him!? If anything you've poisoned him by even talking to him!" Luke yelled. I sighed and raised my eyebrow at Jonathan, trying to tempt him into coming with me with just a look. Luke noticed and put an arm across his chest while backing up.

"Stay the fuck away from him. Let's go Jonathan" Luke grabbed his arm and pulled him away from me. I watched them leave and hummed in thought. Luke was an issue. A shame, really. He used to be one of my best men. 

Right before they turned the corner a small tranquilizer dart shot into Luke's shoulder. I walked towards them as Luke staggered to the ground. Jonathan tried helping him stand but Luke was out, so Jonathan sat him down. When I got to them Jonathan looked at me, probably thinking I did it. I bent down and picked up Luke, subtly pulling out the tranq. "Let's get him to the nurses office." He nodded and followed me. I looked around as I walked and saw Terroriser watching us with a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes and ignored him. Of course he'd follow me.

We got to the nurses office and about 10 minutes after we got there Jonathan agreed to come with me, with only a promise he would not be hurt. Jonathan went in to check on Luke and talk to the nurse. He came back and I walked him to the back door. We didn't talk as we walked and I assumed it was because Jonathan was trying to wrap his head around what'd happened.

I looked at Daniel and waved to him. He waved back with a huge grin on his face. He was a good door holder, I should've increased his pay. I walked Jonathan outside and began heading to the park when he stopped. "Wait- we're skipping?" He looked at me confused and I shrugged.

I kept him moving and as we neared the park I heard yelling. I rushed over dragging Jonathan behind me and saw Terroriser, Nogla, and Wildcat fighting. "Fuck you Terroriser! We're trying to keep a low profile!" Wildcat yelled. I hated dealing with him when he was mad seeming as he swore the most and was the most argumentative. He also had a tendency to get violent if a fight lasted too long, which it normally did when it was those three. 

"Then why the fuck are you yelling?" Terroriser snapped back. 

"You both are fucking dumbasses. You're going to get us caught" Nogla shot back. Jonathan moved behind me a bit, almost hiding behind me. Lui looked over at us and waved at Jonathan, who felt brave enough to wave back at him. I was a little more occupied on watching the fight for signs it'd get violent, but until then I wouldn't interfere. That was just generally a bad idea, and I preferred not being punched by my number 2.

Nogla usually doesn't get into fights but I guess they were really pissing him off. "Nogla stay the fuck out of this." Wildcat said and Terroriser punched Wildcat in the face. That was unexpected, and also my cue to break it up.

"Alright, alright. Calm down guys. We got a visitor." I walked in between them and pointed to Jonathan. Wildcat looked at me pissed, wiping at a small cut on his cheek from Terroriser's ring and everyone else started to crowd around Jonathan, deciding his code name since I didn't announce one when I brought attention to him. I usually decided the code names, but they were excited so I let it slide.

"He's really creepy, maybe creeper?" Mini suggested. 

"No, it doesn't fit his shyness." Ohm stated. They continued thinking of complex names until they started acting stupid, coming up with joke names instead of good ones.

That's when Jonathan laughed. His laugh overpowered everyone's chatter. It was cute. Kind of insane sounding but... cute. A few of the others broke out into laughter because of it. Soon enough most of the gang was laughing, and as I looked around at all these people I knew exactly what kind of energy Jonathan would provide them with, and that inspired his name. "Delirious." I decided.

Everyone looked at me and started agreeing with the name. Even Jonathan. "From now on your name is Delirious. Tell everyone who knows your actual name to call you that. They'll soon forget your real name. Vanoss will get your name out of the school system so don't worry about that." Moo told him.

He looked happier with the group as he nodded his head. I could tell he forgot about school, and the fact what they did was technically illegal. "Alright. We have 10 minutes until we have to disband back to school. I suggest we head back now." I said.

Everyone nodded and we walked back. Daniel opened the door for all of us and we headed to our lockers. I watched Delirious walk off and Luke go up to him and hug him. They walked off and Luke glared back at me. I smiled and waved at Luke, who flipped me off and turned back around.

I really do not want Mini in this story but I have no idea how to write him out and keep some of the themes. That's a lie I have an idea and I may enact it next time I get bored and edit this but not now because that's too much commitment.
