Third Person P.O.V.
A blond haired, blue eyed male strode through town taking in all the sights around him. Link, Hyrule's current best knight, was adored by many. Little children looked up to him, older girls loved him to death. Link always smiled at everyone. He always put on a happy face, but that wasn't what he felt inside.
Link's P.O.V.
It's been almost five months since any of us have last seen (Y/N). I keep hoping that one day I'll see her again. I keep hoping that one day I'll be able to tell her my feelings. I wish I realized my feelings for her earlier. I wished I hadn't let my ambition and stubbornness take over.
"I'm such an idiot."
I stood at the castle's balcony where (Y/N) and I had talked during the ball. I came here everyday just watching the view, thinking of ways to find her again.
Midna had been trying to help me. I'm glad she's able to endure the long amounts of time.
"Link," I turned around to see Impa, "You have a new trainee."
I sighed. I've taken (Y/N)'s place as the top trainer as well. It's a very hard job, I'll tell you that. It's no wonder (Y/N) was always so blunt with me.
"I'm coming," I responded as I put on my smile.
I walked into the throne room.
"Another day, another trainee."
(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
I was currently in Ganzon's war room planning the big comeback against Hyrule. I had started an army here at Achlys Valley. I was the captain and my co-captains were Vaati and Skull Kid.
"Okay, you two," I said as I used my demon sword to point at the map, "Vaati, you will send your army near Kakariko Village and Ordon Village. As for you, Skull Kid, you will head to the Goron and Zora provinces. And as for the Gerudos," I walked to a globe and spun it, "We are currently awaiting for a representative."
"You've been planning this for awhile now, haven't you?" the lavender haired, red-eyed Vaati spoke.
"Of course," I smiled to face them, "Those bastards deserve the worst kind of battle they can get."
I slashed the demon sword around and accidentally chipped a part of the blade.
"Damn," I cursed under my breath but smiled again as the blade reformed itself. This sword still remains a mystery to me.
"So when are we planning this attack?" Skull Kid asked.
"Very soon. Very, very soon," I smirked while looking at the map.
The sooner I get this battle started, the sooner Ganzon will help me find my sister.
*****
Very short prologue, but no worries...later chapters will be the same lengths as the ones in the first book.
