💟Desert sleepover // JJK ending💟
(Slightly mature themes???)
(Long chapter ahead)
(Slight coarse language)
Despite the livid disagreement from Taehyung and the constant questioning for another way from Sherly, the beds were eventually joined and there lay Jungkook, Sherly, and Taehyung, squashed into each other. It was a sight to behold.
"See, I told you this was a bad idea." Taehyung huffed from his side of the bed, finding it difficult to move when Sherly's shoulders pressed into his abdomen. Upon even trying to move to his stomach, he had accidentally whacked Sherly in the face with his elbow.
"Hey! Watch it!" Sherly hissed as she shoved his elbow out of her face.
"Well," Taehyung sneered back, pulling his elbow back underneath him, "If you weren't practically glued to me, this wouldn't be a problem!"
Sherly scoffed. "This wasn't my idea!" She attempted to push back from him, but that only sent her back into Jungkook's strong torso. He let out a loud grunt on impact.
Pained, Jungkook resolved to sorting the other two out. "Look guys, I'll lay beside Taehyung, and Sherly can lay behind me." He suggested.
Both Sherly and Taehyung seemed to agree with that idea, and so Sherly and Jungkook prepared to move. This seemed to be a little frustrating however, and Sherly could easily relate it to playing twister.
Neither of them really had any idea what they were doing, and in hindsight, Sherly knew there could have been an easier and less intrusive way to move.
Firstly, Jungkook placed his hand over beside Sherly's head, as if he expected that he would crawl over the top of her and she would just slide over to where he had been laying. Sherly had absolutely no clue what he was thinking, however, and found herself staring up into his eyes. The proximity between their faces and torsos made the heat from their bodies intertwine and for a few awkward moments, neither could move.
Taehyung, watching the whole ordeal, found it very disturbing. "What are you guys doing?" He asked with a disgusted look, "You're supposed to be swapping places." His question roused the two from their hazy trances.
"Uh, Y-yeah, um..." Jungkook stuttered as he tried to move himself over the top of Sherly, placing his knee against her hip. This made the situation seem a lot worse, and now, since he was practically stretched over Sherly's body, he had little balance.
Sherly attempted to get herself out of the mess by moving to the side furthest from Taehyung. While she did that, Jungkook told Taehyung to move out of the way so he'd have more room to move.
This is where it all went downhill.
Taehyung obviously didn't realise how little room he had to move on the edge of his bed, and with a huff, he proceeded to roll straight off it. In the heat of the moment, as he was falling, he grasped unto Jungkook, who, because of the little balance he had, grasped unto Sherly's pyjama shirt.
The three of them went tumbling off the bed in a lump on the floor. While Taehyung had rolled out further, Sherly had practically landed on to Jungkook's chest, and even worse – with her lips against his neck.
"I knew this was a stupid idea!" Taehyung groaned as he got up, watching as the other two scurried away from each other. Jungkook's eyes were wide and his skin was a deep crimson. Sherly's weren't much different.
"This is why I should have just slept on that sleeping bag, instead." Taehyung huffed, annoyed at their reaction to each other. It honestly disgusted him, and if he were honest, it made him feel sad.
Coughing awkwardly, Jungkook got to his feet. "I don't think it was that bad, we just accidentally fell." He excused. "If we all just sleep in the right positions and don't move," he suggested as he lent out a hand to Sherly, "We won't fall off the bed again."
Neither Sherly nor Taehyung seemed to disagree with this, but Taehyung didn't seem too happy about it.
So, the three got back in the bed together again in the right positions, with Taehyung muttering under his breath about having Jungkook so close to his body. Sherly turned with her back to the men, still embarrassed about what had happened.
Before they knew it, the three of them had fallen fast asleep.

Light streamed into the bedroom from the gaze of the sun and the smell of coffee filled the air. Sherly's eyes opened ever so slightly to reveal through their sleepy haze that it was definitely morning. Moving unto her side to check on the men she realised that neither were anywhere to be seen, and all that lay beside her were the curled up sheets they had shared the night before.
The door suddenly opened to reveal Jungkook, who had suddenly changed outfits from the night before. Instead of wearing the pink bunny covered long sleeved set, he was now in a plain pair of boxers and a bare torso. The sight had Sherly's eyes widening further than their capacity.
He smirked at her reaction, "Hey babe." He greeted, pulling up a tray full of food that Sherly hadn't even noticed was in his arms. The word 'Babe' had her mind swirling like a tornado, totally confused. She felt as if throwing herself through the window beside her would be a good way to escape as Jungkook's half naked body crept closer.
"You slept like a baby." He smiled warmly, placing the tray on her duvet covered lap. Her eyes scanned along the cup of coffee and toast that lay before her.
"Um Jungkook, what's wrong?" She asked, petrified by his sudden actions and weird nicknames.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow as he sat by her legs. "Wrong? Nothing's wrong." He responded, before smiling and leaning closer to her rigid frame. "Everything's just perfect."
He placed a teeny, tiny kiss on her nose and Sherly had to lie to herself in order to get herself to believe she didn't like it.
"W-where's Taehyung?" She asked, trying to change the conversation, and hoping the cold man from yesterday would come stomping in and break up the two of them.
Jungkook frowned. "Taehyung?"
"Yes." Sherly nodded. "He was sleeping with us last night."
Now it was time for Jungkook's eyes to widen. "What are you talking about, Sherly? Taehyung wasn't here last night. He lives in France."
"What?!"
Jungkook nodded, "Yeah, he moved there after our wedding, remember?"
Sherly's face paled. "O-Our wedding?!"
Jungkook nodded, taking her hand in his. Her eyes immediately zeroed down to their connected hands and nearly fell out after seeing two, bright gold rings encasing their ring fingers. Jungkook looked down at them too, but not with the absolutely horrified expression Sherly had. His features were soft and loving as they gazed over the glinting rings.
"It's almost like it was yesterday. You, in that beautiful wedding dress, our kiss..." He hummed in satisfaction, ""And then, Max's birth."
Sherly's heart almost thumped out of her chest. "Who is Max?!"
Jungkook chuckled. "Our son!"
Jungkook's room spiralled around her as the realisation set in. It was even worse when a small boy – around the age of four - entered the room. "Mommy!" He called.
His teeth and eyes resembled that of his father, but Sherly couldn't help but see many of her own features in him too. Now she was really worried. How did she get from sleeping squished beside Jungkook and Taehyung to suddenly being married to Jungkook with a son?!
Jungkook's head whipped towards his son and he let out a loud laugh. "Come here, Max. It looks like mommy needs a cuddle." The boy immediately jumped up and unto the bed, tumbling towards his mother. Within an instant, his arms had surrounded her waist and his cute little face had bundled itself into her arms.
Jungkook let out a giggle at the boy's antics, before he looked back to his wife. Sherly knew exactly what was going to happen as Jungkook came closer to her face. His lips immediately attached themselves with hers, and Sherly couldn't help but returning it. There was some odd sense of connection and euphoria mixed into the kiss, so strong that it caused the whole room to spin around them. Before Sherly knew what was happening, the world went back.
Sherly's eyes immediately opened, only to reveal Jungkook's face below her's. When wondering what the heck they were doing in such a position, Sherly realised that her lip's were placed on Jungkook's. She suddenly knew the reason why his eyes were so wide as they stared into her's.
Immediately pulling away, Sherly apologised like she never had before. It seemed as if she were just chanting the words, "I'm sorry" on repeat. Jungkook's face looked like a snowman's, and his body was frozen solid. Sherly was scared shitless.
A loud cough echoed through the room and Sherly's head swung towards the doorway, where she noticed Taehyung leaning against it with an all too disappointed expression upon his face. "You slept in." He curtly said, throwing her the keys to her car, "I've checked your car. You were just out of oil."
When the keys got into Sherly's hands, Taehyung's arms wrapped themselves up in a not to impressed stance. "So when you stop dilly dalling around, you can be on your way." With that, he stomped out of the room and his footsteps echoed down the stairs.
Sherly's eyes met Jungkook's again, but neither said a word, instead, Jungkook quickly got up from the bed and sprinted out the door after Taehyung.

Finding it hard to figure out where Jungkook had run to, Sherly found herself in the yard where Taehyung was still twinkling with her car. She walked up behind him with her hands behind her back.
"I thought you said you had fixed the car."
Taehyung immediately flinched in surprise as he whipped around to face her. "Don't scare me like that." He scowled, teeth bared, before turning back to the car.
"No need to be so mean," Sherly sighed, "I was just curious."
Taehyung was quiet for a minute before speaking up. "I took it for a drive and heard a noise. It's your belt. It looks like it's close to breaking."
Sherly's eyes rolled down to her clothes from the day before that she had just changed back into. There was no belt. "My belt?" She asked, confused.
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "The belt on your car." He motioned with a shifter where the alleged 'belt' was under the hood. Sherly 'Ohhed' in realisation.
"Don't worry," Taehyung assured without emotion, "I'll probably have one in the shed. It'll take me five minutes."
The conversation was quiet again for a second.
"So, you and Jungkook, huh?" Taehyung asked, not looking towards her as he fumbled with a tool.
Sherly didn't understand what he had meant until she remembered earlier. Taehyung had seen them kissing. "Oh, that was a mistake!" She was quick to excuse, "I was just-"
"Kissing Jungkook."
"I wasn't kissing him!" Sherly hissed, "It was an accident."
Taehyung laughed humourlessly, "So your lips 'accidentally' attached with his? What is this? A Kdrama?"
"I'm being serious Tae."
Taehyung's body quickly became stiff at the use of his nickname – something he hadn't heard her say in years. It caused him to quickly crawl back into his shell. She couldn't be calling him that, especially when she didn't even like him.
"Yeah, Yeah." He scoffed, trying to seem nonchalant, "You might wanna tell him that. Last time I checked he was in the barn." His eyes nodded over to the large, red barn across from them.
Sherly's eyes raked over the appearance of the barn, before she sent a small smile Taehyung's way. "Thanks."
His eyes never left the hood. "Don't mention it." It was only when her figure retreated into the barn that he finally set his sad orbs unto her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a series of calls of Jungkook's name, Sherly found him patting the barn cat. He was squatting and didn't even notice her presence, seeming more focused on talking to the cat.
"Jungkook."
Jungkook's eyes immediately whipped to her figure. "Sherly." He greeted, as if nothing had happened, "What can I help you with?"
Sherly hesitated for a second, drawing her hands in behind her back. "I-I'm sorry. For the kiss."
Jungkook's eyes tinged with recognition, but he stayed patting the cat.
"I'm leaving after Taehyung fixes the belt on my car, and I just wanted to let you know that I didn't mean it."
"I know you didn't, you were asleep." Jungkook agreed. "I was just surprised...That's all."
Before Sherly knew what she was doing, her mouth blurted the truth. "I had a dream."
Jungkook's straight lips turned upwards with a confused smile and his eyebrows rose. "Ok-"
"I had a dream about you." Sherly let out, telling herself she might as well be honest. She had kissed the guy, after all.
Jungkook's eyes widened, but he said nothing. It was almost as if he were hiding something.
Sherly nodded, rather hesitant to tell him the details. She could feel heat rise up to the apples of her cheeks and along the baseline of her neck. Deciding to leave out several parts of the story, she said, "You kissed me in the dream."
Jungkook's mouth flew agape at her confession, but he quickly reeled it in. "You were sleep talking." He informed her, with his eyes now trained to the ground.
Oh, dear lord.
Sherly wasn't sure she wanted to know what she had said, but Jungkook told her.
"You were talking about me with no shirt on and you asked whether we were married. You said we had a son named Max." He revealed, rather nervous. Sherly was just as shocked to hear that she had pretty much revealed the whole dream to Jungkook in her subconscious.
"We...we did." Sherly quietly uttered.
There was cement like tension in the barn before Jungkook's sudden words broke it.
With a face red like a tomato, Jungkook decided he was tired of being dishonest, and so he admitted something.
"I liked the kiss."
His eyes found Sherly's widened ones and the brown irises caressed hers. "I've wanted to kiss you for a long time now."
Sherly had no words and all she could do was stand there like some statue, totally dumbfounded. This allowed Jungkook to continue.
"I know it wasn't a real kiss and whatever," He said, scratching his neck, "But it felt real. I've been in love with you since I was 12 and I never would have imagined actually kissing you, or you having a dream about me, or just you being here, and I don't want to see you go without doing something I should have done all those years ago."
Sherly's mouth dropped. "Jungkook-"
"I just wanted to confess." Jungkook said curtly. "It doesn't mean you have to like me back or anything, but can we at least just be friends again? Start from the beginning?"
Sherly was quiet for a moment before her mouth curled into a smile. "Sure."
Sherly left later that day and drove to her Aunt's. Of course, on the way back she stopped in by Jungkook's place again. This time, Jungkook had a small mattress he had bought ready. While Taehyung was still as quiet, it seemed he was narky. The three of them found themselves on the porch drinking hot chocolates and remembering the days of their youth.
Not long after, Sherly had to drive home to the city. She and Jungkook kept in contact through calls and texts, and sometimes even visited. Jungkook tried to keep the relationship as platonic as possible, so as to not make Sherly uncomfortable. Little by little they became closer, and then it was harder to maintain a long distance relationship. Sherly decided she would be the one to pack up and move back out west.
Jungkook was happy to move her into his place, which was now refurbished. While jobs remained few out there, Sherly managed to pick one up as an administrator in the local doctor's office. Taehyung decided he was tired of living with the couple and explained he would be moving overseas as soon as he could.
The relationship blossomed between the couple, and not long after, a wedding took place. Taehyung had left for France a few months later, and a year after that, the couple gave birth to their first child, a son – Max.
Tae is getting his ending next because I am a second male lead lover lolll
