Author's P.O.V:-

At Jeon's Palace...

Jimin wakes up to see an unfamiliar room that looks huge and luxurious. He looks here and there confused then it gets to him that he is now in the 'Tyrant King's Love' novel.

And he just collapsed after finding out that his cheerful and cute dongsaeng Jungkook is the villain of the novel whom he pitied and wanted to save from his tragic death.

"You are awake?" Damon asks as soon as he enters the room.

"Damon," Jimin tears up.

"Why, what happened?" Damon rushes to his side and gets hugged by the elder tightly.

>>>You are the son of my Jungkook...you and he went through so much in this stupid novel.

>>>No matter what, I am going to change both of your tragic endings.

Damon hugs back and pats him,

>>>Jimin...who are you? Why do I get so anxious when I see you in tears and get happy when I see you smile?

>>>Are you perhaps a black magician? What charm did you use on me?

"Damon, where is Jungkook?" Jimin asks after calming down and breaking the hug.

"Jimin, you can't call the Grand Duke of Florence Kingdom casually like that as if you are calling a friend. I am telling you my father shows no mercy to anyone who disrespects him. So, you should be careful around my father and should address him respectfully, get it?" Damon explains.

Jimin sighs,

>>>I know, the Villanous Duke is bloodthirsty and doesn't think a second before killing anyone.

>>>But he has the same name and same face as my adorable, cute rabbit Jungkook whom I love.

>>>Now that I think, I miss my Kookie so much. What is he doing in the real world? What happened to my body there? Is Jungkook crying about me? Is he missing me too?

>>>Ugh!!! That damn author! I just sent a message asking to do justice for the villain and Damon.

>>>Does that idiotic author have to do this to me? It's as if the author is mocking me to go change the plot if you can!

>>>I swear I am gonna sue that author once I go back to Seoul. But what should I do now?

Jimin is lost in his thoughts and Damon frowns and shakes him, "Jimin! Did you hear what I said?"

"Ah! Yes, I heard. No disrespecting Jungk-"

Damon furrows his eyebrows,

"Ahem, I mean Grand Duke Jungkook, I understand," Jimin corrects his sentence.

"I will call the doctor to check up on you once and then I will take you to your room, ok?" Damon asks.

"No need for the doctor. I am perfectly fine now," Jimin tries to refuse.

"Not gonna listen, lay down and let the doctor examine you," Damon insists.

Just then butler Jackson arrives in the room, "Young master, his highness is asking for your presence along with Jimin-shi in his office, now."

"Now?" Damon knits his brows, "Is father back from the palace?"

"Yes, your highness," Jackson replies.

"Alright, let's go Jimin," Damon looks at the elder and they both follow the butler to the office.

Jackson knocks on the door, "Come in," they hear the Duke's authoritative voice.

Damon, Jimin followed by Jackson enter the room.

Duke Jungkook turns and looks at Jimin, "I hope you are back to your senses now, Jimin-shi."

Jimin immediately bows and nods, "Y-Yes."

>>>My Jungkookie has become so cold in the novel*sulk*

"That's good. Then take the seats you both," Duke Jungkook points at the couch in front of him.

Damon and Jimin sit beside each other and Duke Jungkook sits opposite them while Jackson stands beside his master.

"The Vespian Kingdom has broken the peace treaty and has entered our border crossing the Servian lake," Duke Jungkook informs.

Hearing it Jimin looks amazed, he remembers the storyline...

>>>The novel is starting, Crown prince Jin will meet Taehyung in the forest near Servian lake and falls in love with him at first sight.

>>>After that, the war continues for a year and the crown prince and the villain brings victory to the kingdom.

>>>But the King tries to kill the crown prince on the way back and Jin knows about it so he goes to the royal palace in a rage and massacres all the royal family members along with the king. From then on he will be called the tyrant.

>>>Then he merges both the Florence and Vespian kingdoms and becomes the emperor of the new Kingdom which will be named, Kingdom Florian.

"You mean they're waging a war against us?" Damon asks.

"Yes, and his majesty ordered us to support the crown prince on the battlefield so we are leaving in a week," Duke Jungkook explains.

Jimin is still thinking while the father and son are having a conversation about the war.

>>>Wait, if Jin Hyung becomes the emperor then why is the novel called Tyrant King's love? Is the author gone nuts? Doesn't the author know the difference between the emperor and the king?

>>>Yah, Jimin! That's not the point here! The point is the story is about to start and in the war the villainous Duke which means the Duke that looks like my Jungkookie will get hurt!

>>>I have to stop it in any case!

"I will come along with you!" Jimin shouts, standing up with so much determination.

The room is filled with silence and Jackson tries not to laugh.

Duke Jungkook looks at him, "Of course, you'll come with us, when did I say you wouldn't?"

"Oh..." Jimin plops down to the couch immediately, getting embarrassed.

Damon looks more embarrassed when Duke Jungkook gives him a look like 'where did you bring this alien from?'

"But father, I don't think it's a good idea to bring Jimin to the war," Damon comments.

"Why do you think so? I thought you'd be the happy one if Jiminshi tags along with us," Duke Jungkook replies.

"I would be happy but I don't want Jimin to go through hardships. The battlefield is a blood bath and it would be overwhelming for him," Damon answers.

"That's too much coming from a seven-year-old like you, Damon. If it will be overwhelming for me then what about you? It isn't the age where you should be swinging your sword on the battlefield but to stay at home and play like normal kids would do," Jimin looks serious.

Damon smirks,

>>>It's not overwhelming to me, I just want to cut the throats of those enemies and see their blood flowing on the ground.

Duke Jungkook looks dumbfounded, "What's overwhelming to whom now?"

Jackson chuckles hearing and closes his mouth immediately with his palms trying to control himself.

"Why are you smiling like that Damon? And Jun- I mean Duke Jungkook how can you let a ten-year-old to the war? Aren't you too cruel to him?" Jimin nags.

Duke Jungkook looks at his son and then at his butler and points at himself.

"Yes, you! If Damon's mother was still alive she would have objected to this sternly. You only know how to run a Dukedom and swing your sword at your enemies. You should also know how to raise your son-" before Jimin could speak more Duke Jungkook shows his hand looking dead into the younger's eyes.

Jimin gulps his saliva seeing it. "Damon, Jackson go out for a moment," Duke Jungkook commands.

"What? No! Father-" Damon tries to refuse but Duke Jungkook gives him a stern look.

Sighing, Damon whispers, "Don't speak rudely, I will be just outside the room so don't worry."

Jimin nods, fidgeting his fingers. Damon and Jackson leave the office and wait outside.

"Jackson, what do you think father wants to talk with Jimin?" Damon asks.

"I have no idea but this is my first time seeing anyone speak up in front of his highness. Let's just pray that nothing will happen to Jimin-shi," Jackson prays.

Inside, Duke Jungkook gets up from his seat and goes near Jimin. He leans forward, placing his hand on the couch behind the younger.

Jimin backs away, reclining. His hands sweat as he gets anxious every passing second seeing the look in Duke Jungkook's eyes.

"I...I-I am sorry, if I offended you in any way, your highness," Jimin stutters.

Duke Jungkook chuckles hearing it and seeing him laugh, Jimin gets chills all over his body.

>>>So this is the aura of the cold-blooded villain of the novel.

>>>Why was I so foolish? Just because he looks like Kookie doesn't mean he will tolerate me being a nuisance like him.

>>>Did I just dig my own grave? Will he kill me now? What will happen to my body in Seoul if I die here?

Jimin's eyes become glossy as he looks down a little biting his lips. Duke Jungkook pinches the younger's chin and lifts his face.

"So you think I only know how to swing a sword, huh? Such an insolence. What if I want to swing it on you, now? Can you handle it?" Duke Jungkook questions with a playful smirk on his lips.

Shivers run down Jimin's spine hearing it. He shakes his head, "I-I am s-sorry."

Duke Jungkook just smiles more and leans further as his breath tickles the younger's nape. Their cheeks touch each other.

He whispers in the younger's ear with his husky voice, "I won't kill you today, cause you are entertaining to me now. But dare speak about my deceased wife in front of Damon again..."

He pauses and moves his face a little back, now looking directly into the younger's eyes, his hand grabbing Jimin's neck lightly, "I will have to cut this milky neck of yours with my sword, so think before you speak again, you get it?"

Jimin gets scared out of his wits and nods his head immediately several times, clutching the couch tightly.

"That's more like it. I like obedient boys," Duke Jungkook comments and stands up straight.

Without him knowing the tears that welled up in his eyes flowed down his cheeks.

>>>He is not my Jungkookie...he is the Villain with the same face as him.

>>>I should never forget that...he will kill me in a second without thinking.

>>>I miss my Kookie so much. Why should the Villian look like him? It's unfair!

Jimin tears up more as he starts remembering the days he and Jungkook spent together.

Duke Jungkook gets taken aback seeing his tears. Somewhere in the corner of his heart, he can feel a light sting.

He takes a bar of chocolate from the table and offers it to the younger not knowing how to stop him from crying.

>>>I remember kids stop crying when they see chocolates, right?

Jimin looks at him and starts sobbing harder remembering how his dongsaeng Jungkook used to buy him lots of chocolates when he makes him upset.

Damon rushes inside followed by Jackson hearing Jimin's wails. "Why, what happened, Jimin?"

Duke Jungkook for the first time in his life regrets using his dominant tone and warning the younger.

"Your highness, what did you do?" Jackson whisper-asks.

"I offered him a chocolate?" Duke Jungkook looks quite flustered himself seeing the younger not stopping.

"Father, I know Jimin was rude to you but how can you make him cry like this?" Damon scolds.

Duke Jungkook opens his mouth to say something but closes it again not knowing how to reason out. He opens the wrap and shoves the chocolate inside Jimin's mouth.

"Eat it up and stop crying. And you all get out of my office!" Duke Jungkook orders.

Jimin then gets back to his senses as he chews the chocolate. Damon shakes his head and takes Jimin out of the office, Jackson follows them and closes the door behind him.

"Jimin, are you okay?" Damon asks.

Jimin nods getting embarrassed.

>>>I even made this little kid worry about me, aish!

"Damon, where is my room?"

"Oh, do you want to rest? Jackson, show him to his room," Damon orders.

Jackson nods, "This way, Jiminshi."

"I have some work to do, so take some rest. We will talk later, ok?" Damon asks.

Jimin nods and follows Jackson.

"My luggage?" Jimin questions.

"I have put them in your room while you were unconscious, Jimin-shi," Jackson replies, politely.

Jimin nods and as soon as he enters his room, he looks amazed by it, "Is this really my room?"

"Yes, if you don't like it, I can change your room to the bigger one than this," Jackson replies.

>>>Bigger than this?

"No need. This room is fine, thank you," Jimin immediately rejects the offer.

>>>What will I do in a room bigger than this? I will get lonely.

"Yes, then please do rest. I will take my leave," Jackson bows and leaves the room.

Jimin looks around and then plops on the bed and wiggles around burying his face in the pillows.

"AAAAAHHH! Why did I cry like that and embarrass myself in front of that Duke and Damon? It's all that Duke's fault!"

Jimin continued to scream rolling on the bed and punching the pillows not noticing a shadow behind the window.

"He is so weird..." He pauses and smirks, "But interesting," Duke Jungkook leaves there with his lips curved upwards.
