Author's P.O.V:-

"Minnie!! Jiminieeee!!!" Taehyung was screaming out loud with anxiety. He was on the verge of crying if he didn't see his friend the next second.

Amy and the Ruby girl were shocked and were in a trance not understanding what had and was happening around them.

Duke Jungkook jumped into the lake to search for Jimin but couldn't find him as there was no sign of anyone inside the water. He got frustrated and worried about the Younger.

He took out his sword concentrated his aether on it and rammed it into the ground under the water with force but it was all in vain as the ground didn't even budge.

Crown Prince Jin frowned seeing it, "Jungkook, it's abnormal, how did the water didn't even splash with that aether slash?"

"Come out, Jungkook. Let's try together," Yoongi suggested as he took out his sword, and the Crown Prince too unsheathed his sword.

Meanwhile...

Under the water, Jimin thought he was going to die. He opened his eyes slowly to see where he was and was shocked to the core seeing all the fishes and sea creatures in front of him.

>>>Sea creatures? But I fell into a lake, right?

And surprisingly he could breathe normally under the water. Then he noticed he was in a bubble that was being carried out by a slimy creature.

>>>This must be the one that pulled me by my leg...

He tried to get out of the bubble but it was strong. He was perturbed about where that slimy creature was taking him and felt helpless as he couldn't do anything but wait.

He couldn't even enjoy the beauty of the depths of the sea filled with so many unique fishes of various species, squids, seals, dolphins, turtles, seahorses, coral reefs, kelps, and many more.

Just then the slimy creature took him inside an underwater cave which was decorated by pearl oysters and pretty jellyfishes swimming here and there making the cave look ethereal.

Jimin was lost in the enchanting view in front of him and his fear disappeared just like that. That slimy creature took him to the centre of the cave where there was a big closed oyster.

The bubble popped, and Jimin fell to the ground despite that he could still breathe. The slimy creature extended one of its tentacles and gently guided him to touch the big oyster placed on a huge luminous rock.

Jimin hesitated a little before touching it and boom!

The oyster cracked open and a tiny soft creature with a bell-shaped body in blue which has lengthy finger-like structures came out of it. It was gleaming as it opened its big eyes and blinked continuously looking at Jimin.

Seeing it staring at him deeply Jimin too tilted his head and looked at it.

"You..." the blue creature spoke.

"Oh, you can speak!" Jimin was amazed as he closed his mouth with his palms.

The blue creature giggled, "Yes, I can." It then flew around Jimin, "So, you are here finally."

Jimin had a question mark on his face, "Do you know me?"

"Of course..." the blue creature said and Jimin widened his eyes hearing that but then, "...not!" It giggled seeing his amused reaction.

Jimin shook his head, "Why did you...wait where is that creature that brought me here?" He looked at either side but couldn't find any.

"It was just a normal jellyfish and I sent it back as its job is done. When you entered the lake I sensed your presence, I was doubtful but I thought I shouldn't miss this chance so I gave some of my spiritual power to it and let it drag you here so you could free me," the blue creature spoke.

"I didn't understand a thing you said, who are you by the way why did you drag me here and how can I go back? Everyone will be worrying about me," Jimin voiced out.

"I am your familiar," the blue creature answered.

"Familiar? What's that?" Jimin was puzzled.

The blue creature looked up at the wall thinking about how to explain so that Jimin could understand what it was trying to say.

"I don't know much too. All I know is we spirits and humans were at a war a millennium ago and we destroyed everything. The heavenly emperor got mad at us for wrecking such a havoc so he cursed us and we are sealed in relics and are dispersed around the world."

"Ohh!" Jimin exclaimed.

>>>I didn't read anything like this in the novel... what the fuck is happening? Why is there so much that the author didn't mention in the novel? Ugh! Why is she so lazy?

"Then what happened?" Jimin got curious.

"After that, he said our curse will be lifted only when a destined person arrives and touches the relic and we have to serve them until their death as their familiars. Only then we are allowed to go back to the heavenly realm," the blue creature explained.

>>>Wait, Hobie Hyung said something like that just now about Awakners who get powers after they get in touch with some relics...so he was talking about this?

Realization hit Jimin and his mouth became wide in amusement, "Then I am an Awakener too?"

"What?" The blue creature didn't understand, "Anyway, let's do the contract."

>>>Contract...yes, Hobie Hyung asked Tae but he said he didn't get to talk with that bird...

"Contract...I don't know how to do that," Jimin answered, honestly.

"Just put your hand above my head," the blue creature took Jimin's hand with one of its tentacles.

"Like this?" Jimin asked and the blue creature hummed in response.

"What is your name?" It asked.

"Park Jimin," he replied.

"Okay now, right after I say my vow you just have to accept me as your familiar and the contract will be sealed between us," it elucidated.

"Wait, the contract ...I need to know the details before I agree to it," Jimin said.

>>>As a pro idol I can't sign any contracts without reading them thoroughly.

The blue creature chuckled, "You don't have to be wary about it. It's a contract that will make me your familiar and I will serve you and protect you from any harm. You won't be hurt by it."

"Is that all?" Jimin was astonished cause it was just like a slave contract to the familiar.

"Yes, 'cause it is my gratitude towards you for freeing me from this seal and giving me back my freedom," The blue creature smiled.

"Oh, then fine let's do the contract," Jimin said.

>>>This way, I can protect Tae and myself from anyone until we go back to our world.

>>>Also I have to tell Tae to make a contract with his familiar soon so he can be protected from that vicious Crown Prince who is threatening him.

"I Undine, the spirit of water take you Park Jimin as my Master henceforth and serve him with my best of abilities and protect him from any danger that comes his way," it looked at Jimin,

"Do you agree to be my Master, Park Jimin?" It asked.

"Yes, I do," Jimin replied with a smile.

>>>It's just like marriage vows but just one way.

When he said that Undine glimmered and it disappeared forming a blue tattoo on the nape of Jimin and he felt the cool sensation inside him.

He got confused as he couldn't find Undine and looked around, "Undine? Where are you?"

"I am inside you, Master. If you want to see me just call my name, I will be out," Undine answered.

"Undine, come out," Jimin instructed.

The tattoo sparkled and Undine came out of him, "Yes, Master. At your service," Undine bowed at him cutely.

"Aww, you are so cute. Come here," Jimin hugged it and squeezed it in his arms.

"M-Master..." it looked a little uncomfortable at first but then felt the warmth in his embrace and was pleased.

"Uwu, you are so squishy!" Jimin lifted Undine in the air and spun around in happiness.

"Master, my head is spinning, stop it," Undine's eyes became dazed.

"Arasso," Jimin chuckled as he rubbed the little creature's head.

"Any orders Master?" Undine asked after it became stable.

"First order for you is... umm..
don't call me Master from now on. Call me, Jimin," he ordered.

"But-" Undine was about to refuse but was cut off.

"No buts, you said you will listen to my every order. Come one call me, Jimin," he requested.

"J-Jimin," Undine spoke and got a forehead kiss from Jimin in return and was shocked by it at the same time got happier.

>>> It seems I got a kind Master... this time. Pheoniee how about you?

Undine was thinking about its friend when, "And my second order is, take me to the lake where you dragged me from, everyone will be searching for me."

"Yes Mast-ahem I mean Jimin, I will take you back," Undine then cast a spell and a bubble appeared around them as it started floating out of the cave.

This time Jimin was mesmerized by all the sea creatures around him as the bubble moved up to the surface.

On the other hand, Duke Jungkook, Crown Prince Seokjin, and Commander Yoongi were gathering their aether in their swords to strike the ground under the lake at once to break it.

As they were about to attack, several bubbles appeared in the lake and they stopped. The big bubble gushed out of the lake wetting everyone standing ashore with water.

The bubble popped in the air and Jimin was falling when Duke Jungkook jumped into the air caught him in his arms and landed on the ground at ease.

Jimin shut his eyes when he was in the air but as he felt the strong arms around him which were so familiar he opened his eyes and saw the Duke carrying him.

"Your Highness," Jimin hugged him. Although he didn't show it when the jellyfish pulled him into the water and the incident with Undine, he was actually very scared inside.

As soon as he saw the Duke's face he was relieved. Duke Jungkook too hugged him back.

In just ten minutes of time, Duke Jungkook experienced the emotions he never felt. The fear of not seeing Jimin's face again made him panic and his heartache.

That was when he understood no matter if Jimin was involved with Taehyung or whether he was a spy or not it all didn't matter to him anymore cause he became sure that the Younger became an important part of his life and couldn't be replaced by anyone.

He wasn't sure if those feelings he felt when Jimin disappeared before him were of love or not but he was sure that he couldn't live without seeing the Younger anymore.

"Are you okay? Are you injured?" Duke Jungkook questioned with a worried voice.

"No, I am okay, your Highness," Jimin replied and Undine smiled,

<<<Jimin, is he your lover?>>>

"NO!" Jimin stated a little loud as the Duke frowned and broke the hug with a question mark, "What happened, Jimin?"

"Nothing, Your Highness...let me down," Jimin got embarrassed.

<<<You can speak in your mind, Jimin. I can hear you.>>> Undine chuckled at its Master's silliness.

"Minnie!!!" Taehyung ran towards him and embraced him tightly.

"Tae," Jimin hugged him back.

"What happened to you? I thought you left me alone, here," Taehyung was crying at that point.

It was ten minutes for everyone but Taehyung felt like a decade. As each second passed he had so many negative thoughts in his mind thinking that Jimin had gone back to the real world leaving him alone.

Just thinking about it made his stomach churn and shudder in fear as he couldn't handle the thought of his best friend not with him and handling everything on his own in this world.

Where everyone's faces were familiar but they were not the same. And to top it Crown Prince Jin doesn't like him and would want to kill him if he has any chance. The adventure he wanted to do when he entered the novel world turned out to be a very horrible nightmare for him.

Now he couldn't think of living in the novel world without Jimin beside him. That was just how much he was dependent on his friend so he felt like his world was crashing down.

Hearing his cracked voice Jimin understood that Taehyung was crying and his insecurities,

"Hush, I am here. I won't leave you alone here, never. If we will ever leave this world then we will leave together, Tae," Jimin assured.

"Yes, we will leave together," Taehyung hugged him tighter.

Jimin's and Taehyung's tattoos shined blue and red respectively.

Undine sensed a familiar presence from Taehyung...
