Author's P.O.V.:-

The golden fire vanished after a while and everyone was still confused about it. Cause even though it was such a huge fire no tree was burned neither the fire spread, it was just magical.

The sky turned back to normal and all the birds started chirping once again. It was like the world was stopped and then started continuing as if nothing had happened.

Jin was still skeptical about what he saw cause he only read about it in an ancient book in the forbidden section of the royal library. But to think he would witness it was still surprising to him.

Just then the head of Lionhearts Yoon Jeonghan appeared in front of Crown Prince Jin kneeling in front of him. He and Lee Soo-Hyun, who was the head of Shadow Knights were of the same level and were friends from childhood.

"Your Highness," he voiced out.

Jin nodded and signed him to get up. General Jeonghan stood up and whispered in Crown Prince's ear.

"She is fast, but I don't want her to get what she wants, you got it right?" Crown Prince Jin looked with a cunning smile at his General.

General Jeonghan bowed, "I will kill her shadow guard before he can enter the forest, Your Highness."

He then looked at his friend Lee Soo-Hyuk gave him a smile, who smiled back at him, and then in a second he disappeared into thin air.

"Jungkook, Yoongi," Crown Prince called them.

"Yes, Your Highness," they looked at him for any orders.

"I am going to check the forest," He declared.

"It's dangerous your Highness. We don't know what caused such a huge fire. It could be any spirit beast living in the forest and it would be better if we don't provoke it," Yoongi suggested.

"I agree with the Commander, Your Highness. We can't allow you to go alone," Duke Jungkook also declined.

"I understand your concern but I have to go. And I think I know what happened but I need to confirm it with my own eyes. You don't have to worry about my safety I won't be gone for long," Jin insisted.

"If you are persistent then I would like to come with you, Your Highness," Duke Jungkook said.

"No, I think you have to go and check your son and your son's caretaker first. I know Damon is capable but still, if they're on the mountain then it was so close to the golden fire," Crown Prince, Jin reasoned.

"Then I will go with you, Your Highness," Yoongi offered.

Jin sighed, "Come on, Commander. I am not a five-year-old. You first solve your problem with Hoseok-shi."

Hoseok looked away and Yoongi squinted his eyes, "Alright, but you better get back soon, Your Highness. We have already packed everything and we will be able to leave in an hour," Yoongi spoke.

"Okay, then see ya," Jin pushed his feet on the ground lightly and jumped into the air in a second, and flew into the forest while stepping on the trees occasionally.

"Soo-Hyuk," Duke Jungkook called.

"Yes, Your Highness," Lee Soo-Hyuk bowed to him.

"Take care of everything here and if you think something is wrong immediately let me know, got it?" He commanded.

"Yes, Your Highness," Lee Soo-Hyuk replied.

Duke Jungkook looked at the Commander, "Yoongi Hyung, I will come back."

Yoongi nodded.

Then he looked at Hoseok, "Hoseok-shi, I have cooked the meal for Amy, you just have to stay by her side while she eats, you can handle it right?" The Duke asked handing Amy to Hoseok.

"Yes, Your Highness," Hoseok took Amy into his arms.

"Papa!" Amy showed off her puppy eyes.

"I will be back with your Mama. So listen to Hoseok-shi and be a good girl, alright" Duke Jungkook patted her head.

Amy nodded obediently. Duke Jungkook too used his power 'Fligting feet' and jumped into the air flying towards the mountain.

Hoseok took Amy inside his tent carrying the container with cooked meat while Yoongi followed him from behind.

General Lee Soo-Hyuk and Dame Silvia took charge of everything and helped the Knights in removing the tents and packing them into the carriages.

Meanwhile, Jin went almost to the center of the forest and started walking.

"Taehyung-shi!" He shouted continuously to find him but he got no reply.

And then he saw an Orc General trying to kill someone who was laying on the ground. Jin in a second slashed it in half diagonally with his golden holy sword.

He then walked towards the person who was unconscious on the ground. Crown Prince Jin found his clothes familiar, he scooched down and turned the person's body.

"Taehyung-shi!" Jin was shocked to see the Younger in that state.

His clothes were covered in dirt and leaves. While his neck had a scratch, even in that state Taehyung's face was beaming.

Crown Prince Jin was mesmerized by his beauty. He extended his hand and brushed off the Younger's fringes on his forehead gently.

He didn't see the mark on his chest which was glowing golden but at the touch of the Crown Prince the glow disappeared and the mark faded into his skin as if it didn't exist.

"What happened to you?" Jin mumbled in a low voice as he slid his hand down his neck and the waist and in a second lifted him to his arms as if he weighed nothing.

After walking a few steps he jumped into the air with Taehyung in his arms and flew towards their camp.

On the other hand, when the golden fire started Jimin and Damon were so near to it. They got pushed away due to the heavy wind and have fallen on either side of the mountain.

Jimin lost consciousness while Damon was a little injured as he made a shield on Jimin to protect him from the fall and before he could cast the spell on himself he fell which caused his injury on his right leg.

Both of them fell in different directions far from each other. Damon healed himself with his holy powers and started looking for Jimin.

He was feeling guilty as he couldn't protect Jimin. If he knew who started that damn golden fire he would chop them off into pieces that was how infuriated he was as he lost sight of Jimin.

"Jimin!" He screamed while searching for him, "Dada!!"

Just then some vines started following Damon's steps from the back silently as he passed through a weird, quiet place.

He sensed something was wrong and looked back when the vines caught his legs and hands. He tried to take out his sword but he couldn't do it as the veins bound him tightly.

Before he could enchant a spell those vines surrounded his mouth and face and wrapped him like a mommy and dragged him into a cave where those vines came from.

Jimin who was on the other side of the same cave opened his eyes slowly as he got his consciousness back. He sat on the ground looking at his surroundings in a trance as he couldn't understand what was going on.

Then he remembered how the force of the golden fire pushed them away. He remembered falling from a very high steep but he was uninjured.

Cause before Jimin could fall Damon cast a protective spell on him. He was just knocked out due to the shock. He stood up and brushed the dust off his clothes.

Then looked left and right again, "Damon!" He shouted.

>>>Ah, did we lose each other after we got pushed away?

>>>This is terrible...I am bad at directions and I fucking don't know where in the hell am I!

Jimin got anxious as he didn't know the way back. He started walking straight calling Damon continuously which was a bad choice cause the monsters residing in the forest woke up due to his screams.

A whole gob of goblins came out of a cave after hearing Jimin's voice. They were holding weapons in their hands and were stealthily following the smaller from behind.

They were about to lodge an attack on Jimin when Duke Jungkook who was flying in the air landed before Jimin as he heard his voice.

"Jimin," he called.

Jimin immediately hugged the Duke as he got terrified while walking all alone without knowing if the direction he was going was right or wrong.

The Duke got accustomed to the smaller's hugs as he also hugged him tightly in his sleep last night, so he didn't say anything or push him away like the first time.

He patted his back while looking at the group of goblins with menacing eyes that sparkled red.

"Jimin, stay here for a minute and don't move, ok?" Duke Jungkook broke the hug and patted his head. Jimin's body glew golden as Jungkook cast a protective spell on him.

Jimin nodded. Duke Jungkook immediately sped toward the gob of goblins and annihilated them with his red sword.

"How dare you lowly creatures think of ambushing Jimin?" Duke Jungkook got mad as he knew goblins were the most vulgar creatures as they catch humans to relieve their sexual desires on them.

Just the probability of him not hearing Jimin's voice and not finding him there when these goblins would have caught Jimin and done something horrible to him and his blood was boiling in rage merely thinking about it.

He even went as far as killing all the goblins inside the cave along with their head goblin and came back to Jimin who was looking frightened while fidgeting through the hem of his shirt.

"What happened, where did you go?" Jimin asked holding the Duke's hands.

"Nothing, just some small monsters. I took care of them so don't be scared anymore," Duke Jungkook caressed Jimin's left cheek gently.

Jimin's face heated up due to the touch, he tried to stay calm and nodded, "We got separated due to the force of that fire and I lost Damon. We have to find him what if something happens to him?"

"Don't worry, Damon will be safe cause he knows how to protect himself," Duke Jungkook comforted as he knew his son was not someone who could be easily defeated no matter how powerful the monster was.

"Still, he is just a child. Let's look for him," Jimin insisted tugging the Duke's shirt.

>>>Adorable...*ahem!*

"Alright, but first tell me are you injured anywhere?" Duke Jungkook asked while turning Jimin around to look for any wounds.

"I am fine...I don't know how but I didn't get injured when I fell from a very high steep. Maybe I have some powers too, right Your Highness?" Jimin's eyes glimmered in anticipation.

Duke Jungkook understood that Damon cast the spell on him as he could sense his son's holy power on the smaller. He smiled looking at Jimin and gave him a little smack on his head,

"It's not because you have the power it's because Damon cast a shield around before you got separated and that's why you aren't injured. So don't go jumping down the mountains, you will be dead meat."

"Ouch," Jimin pouted while rubbing his head, "Why don't I have any powers?" He mumbled to himself but the Duke heard it.

"After the war when we go back to the Dukedom, let's check your affinity for magic. If you have it, I will ask a tutor to teach you magic, ok?" Duke Jungkook brushed the smaller's hair adoring him.

Jimin's eyes brightened hearing it, "Really?"

Duke Jungkook nodded as he took the smaller's hand in his and started walking.

"Will I be able to use powers like you and Damon if I learn magic?" Jimin questioned looking excited.

"Only if you have an affinity for it," Duke Jungkook mentioned.

"I will have, no I should have it! I want to have powers too," Jimin whined like a baby.

Duke Jungkook shook his head while smiling to himself. Jimin was excited because he only read about magic powers in novels and watched anime where they use different types of elemental powers.

He always imagined while reading novels and watching animes that he was a cool hero who use his magic and fight the monster to save people. Now that he was already in a fantasy novel world...

>>>I should have some powers too, right? It's only fair that way!

Just then the huge mountain shook making a loud noise that Jimin got horrified and jumped into the arms of Duke Jungkook who held him immediately.

"Omo, that scared me what is it?" Jimin asked while burying his head in the Duke's chest.

Duke Jungkook patted the smaller's back and looked at the mountain, "It's the mountain spirit...why is it awake? Jimin we need to go there, I think Damon is fighting with it."

He said and carried Jimin in his arms and flew into the air at a fast speed.
