Chapter 9: The Truth
I started to walk around cautiously and watched the cameras to see if Vincent was watching me. No cameras had any red lights, like Vincent wasn't watching me at all.
I got a bit nervous every time I had to make a turn because, I feared that the Shadows would come out and attack me. Then again, I never saw them that night. Like, at all, nor did I didn't even hear a single peep from Shadow Bonnie!
Hmmmm... How curious.... I wonder...
I walk towards the office to see if I could spot Vincent in the window. And I couldn't believe my eyes when I got there.
Wait... He's not here!
I yelled in my head. I started to look in the room as fast as I could. I didn't find anything that gave any hint that he came here, nor that he was in there to begin with. I looked on the table in front of the desk.
A piece of paper was on there, faced up with writing on it. There, a note, written backward, like the other notes on day 2. I started to read it.
"Emily, you have survived five nights here at Freddy's. I am quite impressed.
"I haven't seen anyone this good at surviving this strange place since well.., when Mikey finished his fair share of terror. Well done.
"But real talk, I told you I would reveal to you who I was so, I shall grant that promise and tell you.
"Well, more like show you. It's in the Backroom. When you are done, you are free to go. Thank you for being so patient with my little game."
I was so excited. My number one question I had throughout this whole thing was going to be answered. I was so excited, I shrieked and, threw the paper and started to run to the Backroom.
All that was going on in my head was,
YES! YES! I'M FINALLY GETTING MY ANSWER!!!
However...
My fate was sealed as soon I stepped into the room...
It was pitch-black, no light at all. Except for the small lightbulb that hanged above the table. I saw a picture frame on the table, which was made out of dark oak wood from the look of it.
Hmmm..?
I walked over to it but stopped. I had a feeling that I was being watched. I looked around, only to find the Spring Bonnie suit standing in the corner.
Yeah, that's probably the thing that was watching me.
I ignored it and brought back my focus on the picture.
I picked up the picture and examined it.
There was a man, who I identified as Vincent, was hugging a little girl while lifting her off of the ground. The little girl was wearing a purple dress while holding a plush.
I took a closer look at the dress and plush.
Wait, no... No no no... She... She can't be...
I looked at the girl's face. It was who I thought she was...
She's... She's me!
Out of complete shock, I dropped the picture on the floor and, just listened to the sound of the glass shattering. I started to back up slowly, breathing heavily, now knowing who Vincent was.
He can't be... Can he? I thought he was someone else... But not that he's... He's... He's... My own father.
I stopped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over and that is was a yellow paw. I continued to look up and saw the Spring Bonnie suit looking at me square in the eyes. Someone spoke from within the suit,
"Surprise..." it was Vincent. He tackled me to the ground and pinned me there. I breathing heavily and I couldn't move. His knees were on my knees and, I couldn't get up.
I saw something in his hand, something shiny. Something sharp. It was something that he treated me with on the night of him kidnapping me. His knife...
The ghost was right... I am going to die.
