Prologue: The Reboot

this is the PlayStation Universe home to many different kinds of games some that are common and uncommon to the people.

however there was a certain crossover PlayStation game known as PlayStation All-Stars... and it's creator of this amazing game known as Omar Kendall was thinking about plans for a newer version of the PlayStation All-Star Game.

Omar Kendall: (to himself)  I should make a brand new PlayStation All Star games but what kind of character roster should I have...??

Omar Kendall was actually thinking about actually putting the original but it will get dull and boring, until he had an idea of adding some new characters including old ones into a new character roster system for many new players.

Omar Kendall: (to himself) okay now time to bring some old characters and now let me see who should I select for the new character roster...

Omar Kendall selected Ratchet the Lombax and Clank the robot from Ratchet & Clank and Kat from Gravity Rush as the old characters from the old roster and now he decided to know who exactly he could select for the new character roster.

Omar Kendall: (to himself)  Okay now who will actually be the new characters for my character roster list for PlayStation All-Star reboot...???

As Omar Kendall pondered over his character roster, he began to think about the rich history of PlayStation games and the diverse cast of characters that fans loved. He envisioned a mix of iconic heroes and villains from both classic and modern franchises to create a dynamic and exciting gameplay experience. 

Omar Kendall: (thinking aloud) I want to create a balance between nostalgia and fresh faces. Let's see... I can bring in some beloved characters from series that have made a significant impact on the PlayStation universe.

He began jotting down ideas for potential new characters. 

Omar Kendall: Arson Lupin the Third could bring a unique flair with his cunning and agility. Then there's Amuro Ray piloting the RX-78-2 Gundam. The iconic mech would surely bring an epic scale to battles!

He continued to brainstorm, excited about the possibilities.

Omar Kendall: And of course, Spider-Man! The PS5 game has been a massive hit, and Peter Parker's agility and web-slinging abilities would make for some amazing combos. And how can I forget Kazuma Kiryu? The Yakuza series has such a devoted following, and his fighting style would be a perfect fit.

As the list grew, Omar felt a thrill of excitement. 

Omar Kendall: Crash Bandicoot is a must! He represents the playful spirit of platforming. I also need to add V.IV Rusty from Armored Core 6; mech battles can add a whole new layer of strategy to the game. Astrobot is another great choice, bringing charm and a connection to the PS5 launch.

He paused, considering the balance between action and narrative depth.

Omar Kendall: Regina from Dino Crisis will add that survival horror edge, while Connor from Detroit: Become Human can introduce some futuristic tech and moral decision-making into the fights. And Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear! His flashy moves would definitely make him a fan favorite.

With each character, he envisioned unique mechanics and playstyles, and he was determined to keep the gameplay engaging.

Omar Kendall: Knack can tap into that puzzle-solving aspect, and Aloy brings a strong female protagonist with a compelling story. Lastly, Kat from Gravity Rush can manipulate gravity, which would create some interesting dynamics in combat.

With his roster nearly complete, he felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him. 

Omar Kendall: This is going to be an incredible lineup! Each character not only brings their unique abilities to the arena but also represents the vast landscape of PlayStation's gaming history. Now, the next step is to design the stages, movesets, and story mode that will tie it all together. PlayStation All-Stars Reboot is going to be a game to remember!

Then Omar Kendall realize thinking about actually adding some DLC characters for the future, but he'll have to put that on hold a time being, right now he thinks about actually summoning the old and new characters a special location Rival Arena.

Omar Kendall: Now that it's time for introductions but I guess I know ratchet, clank and Kat mines know about the memo...

Omar Kendall took a deep breath, filled with excitement as he prepared to summon the characters to the Rival Arena. This was a special location designed to be neutral ground for all the characters, a vibrant and chaotic landscape that blended elements from their respective universes. The arena was adorned with iconic symbols and motifs from PlayStation's storied history, setting the stage for an epic confrontation.

Omar Kendall: (speaking to himself) Alright, let's get this party started! Time to call on my champions!

He activated the summoning device, a glowing console that pulsed with energy. A holographic projection of the Rival Arena materialized before him, showcasing a diverse environment where lush landscapes met futuristic cityscapes, all while dotted with ruins from classic PlayStation games.

Omar Kendall: First up, let's bring in Ratchet and Clank!

With a flourish, Ratchet and Clank appeared in a burst of light. Ratchet, with his signature wrench in hand, looked around with wide eyes, while Clank hovered nearby, scanning the arena.

Ratchet: Whoa! This place is amazing! What's going on here?

Clank: It appears we have been summoned for a new adventure. I suggest we remain vigilant, Ratchet.

Omar smiled, pleased with their enthusiasm.

Omar Kendall: Welcome, Ratchet and Clank! You're going to be key players in this new PlayStation All-Stars game. I'm excited to have you both on board!

Next, Omar activated the summoning device again.

Omar Kendall: Now, let's bring in Kat!

In a flash, Kat appeared, her gravity-defying abilities instantly shifting the arena around her as she landed gracefully.

Kat: What's this place? Looks like a playground for heroes!

Omar Kendall: Exactly! And you're going to help shape the future of this game. Your gravity powers will add a unique twist to the battles.

Kat grinned, clearly excited about the opportunity.

Kat: I can't wait to see what I can do here!

With the first trio gathered, Omar felt a rush of energy as he prepared to summon the others.

Omar Kendall: Now for the newcomers! Arson Lupin the Third!

As the device whirred to life, Lupin appeared with his usual flair, tipping his hat with a roguish smile.

Lupin: Well, well! This looks like quite the gathering. I hope there's a heist or two in our future!"

Omar chuckled. You might just get your chance, Lupin. Next up, we have Amuro Ray!

Amuro materialized, adjusting his pilot suit and looking determined.

Amuro: I'm ready to pilot the RX-78-2 and take on any challenge. What's the mission?

Omar Kendall: You'll be a crucial part of the roster, Amuro. Your mech will bring a whole new dimension to the fights.

The summoning continued, each character arriving in a whirlwind of excitement and enthusiasm.

Omar Kendall: Welcome, Spider-Man, Kazuma Kiryu, Crash Bandicoot, V.IV Rusty, Astrobot, Regina, Connor, Sol Badguy, Knack, Aloy, and finally, let's not forget you, Kat!

With each new character joining the fray, the arena buzzed with energy. Characters exchanged greetings, some sizing each other up while others shared their excitement about the upcoming battles.

Omar Kendall: "Everyone! Thank you for coming. This is a reboot of the PlayStation All-Stars franchise, and I want to make it the best it can be. Each of you has a unique strength that will make this game unforgettable."

Kazuma Kiryu cracked his knuckles, ready for action.

Kazuma: I'm here to show what real fighting is about.

Spider-Man shot a web into the air, swinging around the arena playfully.

Spider-Man: And I'm here to keep things swinging! Let's show everyone how it's done!

Omar Kendall watched as the characters began to interact, the dynamics between them already forming. He knew that with this diverse roster, there would be endless possibilities for gameplay, movesets, and even storylines.

Omar Kendall: "Now, let's get to work on your movesets and design the stages where you'll battle. And remember, this is just the beginning. I have plans for DLC characters too!"

As the characters began to strategize and spar with each other, Omar felt a surge of hope. This reboot could become something truly special, bridging generations of PlayStation fans and creating new memories for them to cherish.

Omar Kendall: PlayStation All-Stars Reboot is officially underway! Let the battles begin!
