Two years later

Charlotte's POV

After finishing my photoshoot this morning, I decided to enjoy the beach as I finally had free time. It had been two days since I came to the island in Greece. It was my second time doing a photoshoot here. I was posing for Bulgari: I felt so excited about this campaign. It was one of the best campaigns in my career. However, staying away from New York was difficult for me. I missed Nathan so much. I looked forward to being in his arms again.

Suddenly, my phone rang, interrupting my thoughts. I smiled happily as soon as I saw Nathan's name on my phone screen.

"Hey, princess." He greeted me cheerfully.

"How are you?" I asked, smiling, and sat down on the sun lounger.

"Fine. And you? Are you enjoying the island?"

"Fine. Yes, but I wished you were here." I replied honestly and sighed, ruffling my hair.

"Me too." He said warmly.

"Where are you? At the company?" I asked and took a sip from my orange juice.

"No, Dad will attend the meeting; I am at the hotel now. I am going to Stardust in a few minutes after signing some documents." He informed me.

Nathan was the heir of Carter Enterprises Holdings Inc. His father, Ethan Carter was the CEO of the company. Meanwhile, Nathan managed their luxurious hotel and nightclub, Stardust, and sometimes, he helped his father in the company.

"Hmm, don't be naughty while I am away." I teased him.

He chuckled, amused. "I will behave. I promise." I grinned cheerfully. "Lottie, I have to hang up now. See you soon."

"Take care." I put my phone into my bag and lay down on the sun lounger without stopping myself from smiling.

I yawned, stretching out, and got up as I heard someone knocking on the door. I walked towards the door sleepily, ruffling my hair. When I opened the door, my eyes widened in surprise.

"Nathan?" I blinked a few times, trying to understand if it was Nathan, or I was dreaming.

"Surprise, princess!" He gave me his charming smile and roamed my body from head to toe lustfully. Suddenly, I remembered that I was just in my short silk nightie. "Isn't it dangerous to open the door in this state?"He asked playfully and bit his lip seductively.

"You are here!" I exclaimed happily and jumped into his arms. He chuckled as he hugged me and lifted me up. I kissed him tenderly while he carried me inside and closed the door behind him with his foot.

He put me down carefully and cupped my cheeks as he planted a chaste kiss on my lips.
"I missed you." I admitted and gave him a bright smile.

He smiled and kissed me passionately while his hand moved down along my back. "I missed you too, Lottie." He said huskily, stroking my cheek affectionately, and reclaimed my lips, dragging me towards the bed.

Nathan and I were sunbathing when my phone rang. I lifted my sunglasses off my face as I grabbed my phone. It was my boss' assistant. We were close; so I asked her to keep me informed if she heard what Mrs. Diaz planned about selling the modeling agency which I was represented by. I had been thinking about going into business. So when I heard she was planning to sell the agency, I decided to buy it.

"Nancy, I hope you have good news for me." I commented after we had greeted each other.

"Yes, Mr. Cooper changed his mind and will not buy the company. So she is trying to find another buyer." She informed me.

"Great! Then I will talk to her as soon as I come back to New York. Thank you, Nancy."

"You are welcome. Take care!"

"See you."

"What is going on?" Nathan asked in curiosity as soon as I hung up the phone.

"It was Nancy from the agency. She informed me that the buyer changed his mind, and Mrs. Diaz is looking for a new one." I replied in excitement. I told him about my plan during breakfast this morning.

"It is great news. I am happy for you. If you need any help, you can count on me." He gave me a bright smile.

After spending a few magical days with Nathan in Greece, we went back to New York. Once his jet landed at the airport, Nathan dropped me off my penthouse and went to the hotel.

After changing my clothes and drinking my coffee, I went to the agency to talk to Mrs. Diaz. She was waiting for me.

After greeting each other, I sat down on the chair beside her desk while she ordered us two cups of coffee.

"You look radiant. How was the photoshoot?" She asked warmly.

"Thank you. It was great." I replied, giving her a wide smile.

"Perfect."

"Well, as I told you before, I really want to buy this agency." I commented confidently.

"Yes, actually, I would be happy if you head this agency. I put a lot of effort into the business." She said honestly. "However, I have to talk to my brother about your suggestion. As you know he owns fifty percent of the shares. And he told me there was someone who was interested in the agency."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion; I didn't know there was someone else who wanted to buy the agency. It seemed they got interested recently because Nancy didn't mentioned another potential buyer.

"My brother looked positive about it. They had a meeting yesterday. After talking to you on the phone, I called him to talk about your offer, but I couldn't reach him. So I will inform you as soon as I talk to him." She added firmly and gave me a polite smile.

"Fine. Then I will wait for your call." I nodded.

I applauded cheerfully as Romeo and Sienna ended their first dance. They looked so perfect together.

Match made in heaven.

Today it was their wedding ceremony. After being engaged for two years, my brother finally managed to get married to his high school sweetheart. This time Sienna's father couldn't prevent them from getting married. I was so happy for them.

I was sipping my champagne when a hand rested on my back. Without turning around, I understood who it was as my nostrils filled my favorite musky perfume.

"You are stunning." Nathan whispered in my ear from behind, sending shivers down my spine, and moved his hand towards my belly. "I can't take my eyes off you, princess." He added huskily and brushed his lips against my neck without kissing me as he pressed me against his chest.

I turned my head towards him and gave him a brilliant smile.

"Would you like to dance with me?" He asked seductively, full of desire in his eyes.

"With pleasure." I bit my lower lip provocatively as I turned towards him.

As soon as we reached the dance floor, he held my hand and pulled me towards him, making me bump into his chest.

I grinned in amusement and wrapped my arms around his neck. He tightened his grip around my waist, pressing me against his body. We started dancing, looking each other in the eyes while my body was longing for my handsome boy. His every touch sent delicious shivers down my spine. However, it wasn't just me who was on fire, Nathan's gaze showed me that he felt the same.

After dancing with Nathan, I went to the restroom. I needed to decrease my fever, and the only idea was cold water in this situation. If we were alone, I would drag Nathan to bed without waiting for a second. However, it was impossible now when our parents, siblings and the others were here.

When I left the restroom, someone wrapped his arm around me and covered my mouth, dragging me towards a room.

"Nathan, what are you doing?" I asked angrily as soon as he closed the door behind us. We were in a storage room. "You scared me."

He cupped my cheek, pinning me against the wall, and leaned his forehead against mine after switching on the light.

"I can't stay away from you. What are you doing to me?" He said huskily and stroked my cheek gently.

"Nathan..." I mumbled, resting my hand on his shoulder.

"I am addicted to you. As much as I want to run away from you, in the end I always find myself beside you." He confessed, looking into my eyes. "I know it isn't right; we should stop it, but... It is irritating. I can't control myself when you are around me." He added and smashed his lips against mine.

"There is no other woman who could know you better than me, excluding your mother. I am your safe place. You know it as well." I stated confidently, running my hand through his hair as he pulled back slightly. "No one can make you feel like I make you feel when you are with me. We complete each other." I murmured seductively while placing kisses on his neck.

"Lottie..." He mumbled, grabbing my hair, and pulled my head back, letting our eyes meet. "I want you. Now and here." He stated firmly and turned me around without letting me say anything.
