Nikki's P.O.V 

I looked around the restaurant, all the happy couples and here's me sitting alone I knew Roman wasn't coming now its 9pm he is over a hour late, its not like he didn't know about it I have told him plenty of times over the past few days but he will have some excuse like he always does

"Excuse me Miss"

I glanced to my right to see the waiter who had been very patient with me 

"Would you like another drink while you continue to wait?"

"No thank you I think I have waited long enough"

I rummaged through my purse and grabbed a $20 bill handing it to the waiter

"Sorry for wasting your time"

I grabbed my stuff walking out of the restaurant and instead of waiting for a cab I decided to walk home it would give me a bit of time to think about a lot of things.

Roman's P.O.V 

I leaned back in my office chair admiring the view in front of me, the leggy blonde known as Summer pulling her skirt back up her long legs after the second round of sexual fun we had today

"Your back in tomorrow right?"

"Yeah Stephanie wants me to do a few photoshoots with some of the other girls"

"Well maybe after everyone as gone we can do a repeat performance of today"

"I like the sound of that, I'll see you then gonna go and grab something to eat on my way home all that's built up an appetite"

That's when it hit me 

"Shit"

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah its nothing for you to worry about I'll see you tomorrow"

I have got a lot of explaining to do

Nikki's P.O.V

I walked back downstairs after changing in to my sweats, my hair in a messy bun, I walked in to the kitchen grabbing a chilled bottle of wine out of the fridge and pouring it in to a large wine glass

I walked in to the living area grabbing the bridal magazine I had left on the coffee table earlier, I feel like I m wasting my time reading these now, I just don't feel like he wants to get married anymore, I stood flicking through the pages.

"Nikki"

The sound of his voice didn't excite me anymore, a few months ago I would of jumped in to his arms but now I just don't feel it.

He walked in to the room a huge bunch of flowers in his hands 

"Babe I'm sorry alright I got side tracked trying to finish some paperwork"

"So you think a cheap bunch of flowers is going to make it all ok?"

"These aren't cheap Nik"

"To be honest Roman I don't care if there cheap or not, I sat in that restaurant for over an hour waiting for you, not even a phone call, I just don't feel like your in to this anymore"

"What are you talking about?"

"I don't think you want to get married anymore"

"That's not true"

"Your distracted, I've seen the women that work in your building you can't tell me that your not tempted by any of them?"

"I'm not babe I swear I love you"

"Yeah its one thing saying it Roman it another proving it, the spark between us isn't the same as it was a year ago, I'm going to bed I have work in the morning"

I walked straight past him and headed upstairs to bed, walking in to the bedroom I grabbed a picture of us sitting on the dresser 

You wouldn't think that was a year ago

Ever since he was handed this job by his father I have seen a change in him every time he comes home, I just don't want to feel the same heartbreak as I felt with John but I just have this gut feeling its coming my way again.
