Chapter 9

(Luna's POV)

The guys had left the infirmary some time ago, while the rest of us girls stayed in there. Kris had woken up, though she was still tired. Russ had been so relieved when we went to get him earlier, letting him know she was awake.

I think part of him was expecting her to be mad, that he had made such a big decision for her on his own, but Kris seemed happy, at least that she was still here. She wasn't ready to go, hell, I don't think anyone is ever ready for their time. In a few days she would have to leave us for the Flying Dutchman, but I know we were all trying not to think too hard about that yet.

"So last treasure and we can finally have some peace for a bit." Penelope mused, glancing at all of us.

We were all huddled together in the infirmary, sitting on the floor, though a few were still in the beds. Dee was sitting on Cecilia's lap this time, as Alli sat next to her sister.

"Well it's certainly been a hell of a ride for this last bit." Kris snorts, rolling her eyes from her spot on the bed. She was sitting up though, and seemed to be healing. Whatever weird Magic the dead man's chest held, it seemed to be working so far.

"I mean, a pirates life is supposed to be full of adventure, but this past bit got complicated... A small break from some action would be decent." I agreed.

"We've had some breaks here and there. Like Halloween, or last Valentine's Day.." Allison trailed off, smiling slightly.

"Uh. No offense, but do you remember the same Valentine's Day I'm remembering?" Cecilia asked, raising her eyebrows.

"While it may not have been as um trouble filled as times are now... It was certainly its own kind of adventure." I scoffed, thinking back on the weirdest Valentine's Day I had ever experienced in my life. Only among the Sirius pirates was this shit possible.

"It was an adventure I don't wish to experience again." Kris adds, laughing. "I mean, it was interesting to see things from another perspective, but that was taking it a bit far."

"You call switching bodies with the boys only a bit far? That was so screwed up. Of course Only Alan would give us some weird treasure that made us switch bodies... That was not, how I originally wanted to spend my Valentine's Day thanks." Arabella elaborated, shaking her head at some memory we couldn't see.

"I don't think anyone can top Morgan, being inside my body... He's already perverted enough, that just made it worse." Cecilia adds.

"Try Thomas, trapped in my body, and me in his, which is bad enough, but then Thomas has no control over my gift. I was literally partially frozen." Allison dead panned, not looking too pleased with the memory.

"He froze..." I couldn't help it, I started laughing way too hard, picturing Alli trapped in Thomas's body, getting frozen, and nothing she could do about it.

"Okay, getting frozen sucks, I'll give you that. But try exploding strawberry sauce. Exploding." Arabella chimed in, putting extra emphasis when she said exploding.

"What the hell were you doing that involved... Wait.. I don't wanna know.." Penelope asked, snickering.

"I was gonna ask why strawberry instead of chocolate actually.." Kris smirked, teasing her.

Arabella shrugged. "Personal preference. Besides, if I recall right someone else ran off with the chocolate sauce that day." Arabella teased her right back, narrowing her eyes at Kris, who blushes slightly. "I would've picked strawberry regardless trough."

"Chris was so lost, like especially when he saw the lingerie I had picked up for it. Then him being in my body.. Too funny." I add, laughing.

"It was so weird though... Like  looking over at Ed, but seeing myself... Ya know? Made things weirdly awkward." Penelope says, shaking her head.

"What's lingerie?" Dee pipped up from Cecilia's lap, making us all go quiet, at the reminder we had a little girl in the room.

"Uhh... Shit.." Kris exclaimed, looking at the little girl.

"Something you'll find out when you're older..." Arabella trailed off, shrugging, thinking that was as good of an answer as any.

I shook my head. Poor Dee... We were corrupting her before we even realized it. Though she was most likely older than she looked, considering she died when she was ten, but had been wandering around the earth longer than that.

                   ~Last Valentine's Day~

                    (Penelope's POV)

I distinctly remember waking up that morning, and being freaked out that when I looked over, and instead of seeing Ed, I saw me. "What the fuck?" I exclaimed, rubbing my eyes before looking once more. Nope, still see me. I reach over and touch what appears to be my body, nudging my er, their shoulder. "Wake up, something ain't right."

"What woman?" Ed's voice, my body, as I watched the realization hit Ed. "What the hell?" He blinks multiple times, before glancing at me, which was his body, but me in it.

"I don't know. That's what I'm wondering." I sigh, getting up, as I automatically go for my normal clothes, but stop myself when I realize I'm wearing boxers, and lack in my chest area, while I've gained in others. Fuck.

"How do you function with these.. And how do you put this on?" Ed asks behind me, gesturing to his newly acquired tits, well, my tits, as he holds up one of my bras.

"Here." I hold my hand out, before walking up to him, and having him hold his arms out, slipping his arms through the holes, before fastening the clasp in place.

"Don't get me wrong, they are nice to look at and touch, but I can't say I like having them myself." Ed adds, as he finishes getting dressed.

"You think I like walking around with something dangling between my legs?" I snort, putting on Ed's clothes. My hand hovers over the eye patch, and I try it on, before quickly taking it off...

"You have to wear it.. No ones seen me without it besides you."Ed tells me, once he noticed I took it off.

"I'm not used to only seeing out of one eye.. I can't do this.. Besides, I think everyone else will be more concerned about the whole body switching thing than anything else." I shrugged.

We walk out to the dinning room, to hear everyone else talking. Apparently, we weren't the only ones. "It's that damn treasure Alan gave us. Probably cursed." Kris's voice, Russell's body.

"Okay, but how the hell do we fix it." Luna growled, frustrated. Again, Luna's voice, Chris's body.

"I'll look into it, or we can ask Alan, but I doubt he knows. Or it might wear off after a day." Chris answers this time, and it was weird having to look at Luna, but hear Chris speaking.

"Oh happy Valentine's Day!" Thomas chirped suddenly, making us all groan. That's right, we were going to have to spend it in the wrong bodies. Great.

"Well I guess there's nothing we can do for now, except try to go about the day as normal." Captain announced, though physically we were looking at Cece.

The door to the kitchen opens, as Nate and Arabella bring out food. "Dammit Nathan! Are Ya trying to blow my face off." Arabella yells, as she walks out, as Nate.

"You've had your whole life to learn how to control this shit. It's my first day! Ease up woman." Nate yells back, though he walks out, as Arabella.

"Well, alrighty then.." Ed muses next to me, as we start eating. I had no clue what to do now, since I know we had all originally had some form of plans, but now with things all weird...

We finish eating, before heading off to do our usual stuff. I head to the navigation room with Ed, watching as he gathers the maps. It still feels surreal, like I'm outside my body, watching myself do things that I have no control over.

"Did you still wanna go ahead with our plans today, or did you wanna hold off?" He asks suddenly, shifting through his maps.

"Hmmm... I mean we can try and if it gets too weird we can do whatever else when stuff is normal..." I shrug... Though I mean really.. I just.. That would be a bit much... Having sex as a guy... That's a bit much... Oh hell..

Ed smirks, glancing at me with his now green eyes... Damn that's weird. "Alright. Well, then I'll head for port then." He nods, heading up to the top deck, making sure we were headed the right direction.

I grabbed my sketching supplies, before joining him, taking my usual seat on the deck, near the wheel. The pencil feels odd in my now larger hands, but I manage, not taking too long to adjust.

"I've gotta say I may have wished to understand women better before, but this is not what I meant." Ed says randomly, laughing slightly.

About twenty minutes later, we finally dock at port, and get ready to explore the island. Everyone broke off separately, going off in our usual pairs. Ed grabs my hand, holding it as we make our way through town.

"It feels a little weird, your hand being bigger than mine now." He huffed, looking at our entwined hands.

I shake my head, laughing, as Ed leads me to some quiet restaurant. I can only imagine how odd this looks, Ed leading the way, looking like me. Not that it really mattered. It just felt weird knowing Ed was in front of me, but it didn't look like him.

We try and make the best of it, having a good time while we eat. Ed leads me to the beach next. Fidgeting nervously with something in his pocket. "You okay over there?" I ask, laughing slightly. It was funny when Ed was flustered, because he rarely was normally, except around me.

"Yea. Sorry today might not have been what you hoped..." He trailed off, running a hand back through his currently long brown hair. Well, longer than he was used to. "Anyway... We can try again when this whole thing is fixed... But here, I got you something..." He rambled, pulling out a small jewelry box, handing it to me.

Inside was a bracelet, a mixture of diamonds and emeralds. It was a thicker bracelet, the diamonds and emeralds alternating rows as they swirled next to each other, giving the bracelet almost a wave effect, rising and falling in a circle. "Thanks Ed, it's beautiful." I tell him, picking it up as I examine it.

"The green reminded me of your eyes..." He said nervously, and in a rare sight, he was blushing slightly, glancing around everywhere but at me.

I walk over to him, taking his hand, making him face me. He stops fidgeting, and kisses me gently, before we start heading back to the ship. "I would ask you to put it on me, but it might look a little weird." I add, laughing, as I gesture to the bracelet, that I had put back in the box.

"Yea... That's true.." He chuckled lightly, shaking his head. We made the most out of the day, saving some things for another day. I mean, we tried... But that's just too weird.

                      (Kris's POV)

I woke up to rapid tapping on my shoulder. I ignored it at first, I mean, is it too much to let a girl sleep in a bit longer? After the fifth time I swing my arm back, trying to slap Russ's hand away, but my hand doesn't hit another hand..

"Damn. Remind me to never whack a girl in the tit... So this is what it's like..." I hear Russ huff, confusing the hell outta me. "Kris? There's something really wrong here..."

"Russ you don't have any tits." I grumble, finally sitting up, and though I swear I heard my boyfriend, I'm looking at.. Well.. Me. "What the fuck." I curse, looking down at myself. Well shit, this isn't right at all.

"You're tellin me." He snorts, rolling his now hazel eyes at me. "I'm going to hope and assume it's not just us..." He gets up, going over to his normal clothes, when I clear my throat.

"Those won't fit." I smirk, before pointing him the direction of my normal clothes.

"Oh... Yea..." He says sheepishly, before grabbing one of my shirts.

"Russ... You need a bra." I remind him, making him blush even further.

"Yea... I know that... Damn." He huffs, digging one out of my drawer, as he struggles with it for a few minutes, much to my amusement. "Damn things are easier to take off then put on huh?" He jokes, finally managing it.

"Ah... Hell... Let's just hurry up.. I'm sure everyone else has figured out something's wrong by now." I mutter, quickly getting dressed. I turn around to find Russ with his hands over the bra, messing with them. "What the fuck. Stop playing with them... That's weird..." I scold him, stifling a laugh.

"I was just... It feels weird..." He says, dropping his hands to his sides as we finally start making our way to the dinning room.

"Well it feels weird having a fucking dick hanging between my legs, but you don't see me messing with it and shit." I tell him, and he starts laughing.

We take our seats in the dinning room, looking to everyone else. "Well.. Something isn't right here..." Cecilia starts, but it was her voice, coming out of Morgan. Well.. We're not the only ones then.

"I'm guessing this has something to do with that treasure Alan had us take.. Prolly cursed." I muse, a few minutes after Ed and Penelope walk into the room.

"Okay... Now how the hell do we fix it?" Luna growls, placing her arms on the table, as she leans forward. Well... Chris's body leans forward..

"I'll look into it. I doubt Alan knows how but doesn't hurt to ask. With any luck it'll wear off after a day..." Chris mused, thinking. Of course it was Chris talking, but we had to look at Luna.

"This is beyond weird..." Allison adds, as she look around. "We might want to re arrange our plans Thomas..." She adds, looking over at Thomas, who currently was in her body.

"Oh that's right! Happy Valentine's Day!" Thomas chirped, reminding us that we would be spending it in the wrong body.

Morgan tells us we just have to try and go about as normal as we can, before Nate and Arabella bring out food, bickering about Nate blowing something up, and how he's not used to controlling that.

"Figures that dumbass would give us some cursed treasure.." Russ scoffs, taking another bite of food.

"I wonder if anything happened when they had it. You think him and fuzzy?" I asked, snickering at the bought of Alan having to switch with fuzzy.

"That would be something to see." He agreed. Everyone chatted, trying to go about the day as normal as possible, but it's weird, to say the least.

We go do our normal stuff, I help Russ and Thomas with their usual chores and shit. Eventually me and Russ end up practicing, which wasn't uncommon for us. He liked practicing, and I was always up for it, when he wasn't teaching Thomas.

It was a weird experience, fighting in Russ's body. I could manage just fine, but it was a little eerie fighting, and seeing myself on the other end of my sword, instead of Russ. "This doesn't seem to have thrown you off much." Russ laughs, blocking my blade, as we continue to spar.

"It's still weird... I don't like it, but there's not much we can do about it." I huff, jumping back, as I dodge his swords.

"Ed's still heading for the island we we're planning to take y'all to. You still up to keeping some of our plans?" He asks, glancing at me, sweating slightly as he went on the defense.

"Why not." I shrug, starting to work up a sweat myself. "Might as well try to have some fun, despite circumstances."

"Okay..." He nods, as he jumps back, a determined look in his eye. "Jesus... How the fuck to you stand the sweat pooling in your tits?!" He blurts, irritated, shaking his head.

I laugh at his discomfort, before we stop for the day, and we go clean up before going to explore the island with everyone else. Russ leads me to town, as we walk around hand in hand, browsing the shops. We end up heading to the beach, since he mentioned some things he'd rather wait until we were back to normal, muttering something about a tattoo.

I smile, agreeing, and we end up playing around on the beach for awhile. "Sorry things didn't turn out normal for today." He murmurs shyly, blushing slightly. "I was gonna take you for a tattoo, to do something different, but considering we swapped bodies..." He trailed off, shrugging.

I smile, splashing him playfully, before answering him. "Not your fault. We can always do some things another day."

"Well, there was something I still wanted to give you." He adds, motioning for me to follow him back to the beach. He digs in his pockets of his pants that he left on the beach, producing a jewelry box, before offering it to me shyly.

I open it to find a silver bracelet, with two charms on it. One, a little heart with a diamond in it, the other, a larger heart, that was engraved on both sides. One side said "you can always make me smile" and the other said, "I love you Kris.". I smiled at him, he was fidgeting slightly, not meeting my gaze.

"It's beautiful, thanks Russ." I smile, and he finally stops fidgeting, meeting my gaze.

"I wanted to get Ya something... Was a little nervous... Didn't know if you'd like it.."

"You did good. I like the engraving, it's sweet." I tell him, and he smiles at my words.

"I meant it all." He tells me, before coming closer, and kissing me gently. We head back to the ship, Russ taking me towards the kitchen. It was hot out, so we decided on making ice cream sundaes, because why not? We ended up making a mess, as Russ insisted on smearing chocolate sauce on me, along with whipped cream.

(Cecilia's POV)

I shift slightly as I sleep, knowing it was early, and that it was morning, but I wasn't ready to wake up yet. I shiver slightly, cold, as I pull my blanket up, clutching it to me. It was when I pulled the covers up that I noticed it almost felt like I had no shirt on... What the hell?

I glance down to find I am indeed not wearing a shirt, which would normally be a problem, but I also noticed something else wasn't right. I recognized the body I was looking down at, and it wasn't mine. It was Morgan's. I glance next to me, not quite believing this, but I see what appears to me my body laying next to me. Oh shit.

"Morgan?" I ask hesitantly, poking my body on the arm. "Morgan!"

I watch as what was my body rolls off the bed, startled, landing with a loud thump on the floor. Morgan look at me groggily, rubbing his now blue eyes. It takes a few minutes for our situation to sink in, as his eyes widen suddenly. "What the hell?" He murmurs, shaking his head in disbelief. "Cece?" He asks, eyeing me curiously, and I nod.

"Who the hell else?" I scoff, shaking my head. This was truly weird, and not how I wanted to spend my morning.

"Great. Well... I suppose we should go see if it's not just us then." He muses, standing up, and walks towards our closet. He stops himself, in the middle of grabbing his normal clothes, realizing he needed to grab my clothes instead.

I quickly get dressed, weirded out by this entire thing, before turning around, to find Morgan hadn't gotten dressed yet, but was examining himself in the mirror. Or rather, my body. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask angrily.

"I can look at myself naked." He winks, before getting dressed. Oh dear lord.. (movie reference... Anyone?? XD )

We walk into the dining room, to thankfully, find out we weren't the only ones. Everyone had switched. "How the hell did this happen!" Luna exclaims pissed, gesturing to herself, though she was currently in Chris's body.

"Was probably Alan's treasure, cursed. That asshole." Kris jumps in, as her and Russell sit down.

"Great how do we fix it?" Luna asks, leaning on the table. Chris offers to look into it, though it sounds like he hopes it'll wear off after a day or so.

"Let's just try to go about as normally as we can, there's nothing we can do right now." Morgan announces, though again, he's in my body. Seeing myself from outside myself is so odd.

We're interrupted by Nate an Arabella bringing out breakfast, bickering about Nate accidentally blowing something up. Thomas wishes us all a happy Valentine's Day, making everyone groan, for reminding us we're spending it in the wrong body.

We all finish breakfast, Ed announcing he's still stopping at a particular port as planned, whatever that means. Morgan goes off while I help Thomas with laundry, saying there was something he needed to check on.

About a half an hour later, we dock at a port, everyone pairing off like normal, even though I know normal was the farthest off thing we were feeling. Morgan finds me, carrying a large basket, with a blanket tucked in it. "You ready?" He asks, smiling slightly as he offers me his, well... Technically my, arm.

He leads me past town, and all the shops, to a more secluded area of the island. We reach a large grassy field, a forest one way, and the beach the other, off in the distance. He removes the blanket from the basket, spreading it out on the grass, setting the basket down, and motioning for me to sit, as he sits, crossing his legs as he does so.

"Is this a picnic?" I ask curiously, as he starts pulling containers out of the basket, setting them around me. He nods in confirmation, smiling slightly. "You didn't cook this right?" I add, examining the contents of one of the containers.

He chuckles at my hesitance, shaking his head. "No, I had help." He admits, blushing, clearly embarrassed. It was even more odd, because it was my face I was looking at. So that's what I look like when I'm embarrassed.

"Sorry, I know today might not have turned out exactly as you'd hoped, but I'm trying to keep some of the plans I had ready." Morgan adds, scooting closer to me, as he takes my hand in his. He places a gentle kiss on my cheek, before we begin eating.

"It's alright. No ones fault..." I tell him shrugging it off. It really wasn't anyone's fault, and there was nothing we could do about it.

"It puts a damper on certain things." He smirks, taking a swig of water. By the mischievous glint in his now blue eyes I knew what he was getting at.

"Pervert." I scoff, calling him out on it, and he merely laughs, knowing I'm right.

"Only for you." Is his smooth reply, a smile tugging my lips at his words.

"Do you always have a response?" I smirk, teasing him.

"Not always. You certainly keep me on my toes, to say the least." He smiles slightly, a glint in his now blue eyes. "You have a way of always surprising me. I like it."

"You can surprise me too, every so often." I smile coyly at him, enjoying being alone, even though the circumstances are a little odd.

"Speaking of surprises." He adds, producing a small jewelry box, offering it to me.

I open it, to find a bracelet inside. It was a chain, with silver hearts and little rubies, alternating. "I almost got blue, to match your eyes, but I got red instead. Red, for your fiery spirit, one of the many things I love about you, and the hearts, because you have stolen mine, and I don't ever want it back." He says tenderly, taking my hand in his, placing a gentle kiss on it, before placing another on my lips.

I kiss him back, and before I know it he pulls away, before we start gathering our stuff, the basket, blanket, and containers.

He offers me his, well... Technically my arm, again, and I take it. "Ready my queen?"

"Ready." I stifle a laugh as we start walking back to the ship.

"Too bad some things will have to wait for another day." He murmurs quietly in my ear, making me pull back, as I slap him lightly on the arm.

"Always a pervert. Bish." I tell him, shaking my head as I laugh at him. Then again, I wouldn't want him any other way.

(Luna's POV)

I roll over, still half asleep, though it felt like my shorts were all bunched up, making me feel slightly uncomfortable.

I reach down, quickly pulling them, adjusting them. As I get ready to roll over and try to sleep a little longer, my hand freezes, and I realize something is not right.

I glance down hesitantly, though I don't quite believe it, or rather I don't want to. I look down, finding myself looking at Christopher's body, and a glance sideways confirms that yes, I am in Chris's body, because mine is laying next to me, still asleep. What the hell?

"Okay.. So if I'm Chris... He's gotta be me right?" I murmur to myself, as i hesitantly reach over and nudge what should be me in the shoulder. "Uh.. Chris? Chris? Something is wrong..." I add, as I continue to nudge them.

"Five more minutes please Luna?" Chris asks, not even opening his eyes. Well it was definitely Chris in my body, so that's something at least.

"As much as I would love to keep sleeping, we have an issue here." I reply, and he finally opens his eyes, blinking them a few times tiredly, before meeting my gaze.

"What the hell?" He asks, looking me up and down. Well, technically he was looking at himself. "How did this... Damn." He sighed in defeat, finally getting up and out of bed.

"You're telling me. I wonder if it's just us? Probably not." I comment, as I grab Chris's clothes and get dressed.

"Uh Luna what are these? I mean I know kinda Uh.." Chris asks, blushing, as he holds up the lingerie I had originally bought for tonight. Oops.. Looks like he found it. I had gotten this awesome black lace set, and he was holding it up, clearly embarrassed.

"Those were for tonight.. Looks like you found it..." I smirk, suggestively, making him even more nervous. It was so adorable when he got flustered.

"Well... Okay then." He quickly shoves the items back into the drawer, before he digs around again for a simpler bra. He gets dressed rather quickly, fumbling for only a few minutes, before figuring the bra out.

"Seriously though... It can't be just us right? Damn.. This is not what I wanted to wake up to that's for damn sure." I grumbled, as we make our way to the dinning room.

He chuckled, shaking his head at me, as we sat down. "We'll figure this out. Don't worry." He gave my hand a reassuring squeeze, though it was still weird to be seeing my hand, enveloping Chris's. Seeing my body not in my control was just weird overall.

"Something happened..." Morgan stands before us, but it was Cecilia's voice that we were hearing. Well.... That answers that. Wasn't just us then.

"How the hell did this happen?" I ask, frustrated. This shit would happen to us... Only among the Sirius pirates..

"This has Alan written all over it. The treasure he had us keep here? Probably cursed." Kris speculates, and it made sense. That idiot would give us cursed treasure.

"Great, now how the hell do we fix it?" I ask, leaning forward on the table. Something told me we weren't going to be able to fix it by tonight. Damn.

"I'll look into it, maybe ask Alan. But these types of things might wear off after a day." Chris offers, and we all nod, accepting it for now.

Nate and Arabella brought out food, bickering about something, Thomas wished us all happy Valentine's Day, while, though it was nice of him, it was a reminder we had to spend Valentine's Day in the wrong bodies. Great.

"Let's just try to go about the day as normal as we can. Nothing else can be done right now." Morgan announced, though we were looking at Cecilia. Wow... Don't think I'll ever get used to the whole switch thing.

We all finished eating, then went off to do what we normally did... Well, Chris got the weird crown we were keeping for Alan, to look at it. We thumped through some of the books we had in the infirmary, and even some of the books Ed had in the navigation room. "I'm not seeing anything... Damn. You?" I asked, glancing across the table at Chris.

"No. I have a feeling it might wear off after a day though. I mean, Alan seemed normal when he gave it to us. Well... Normal for him at least. I'm gonna go check on something, but after we should take a break." He adds, as he pushes his chair back, before leaving the room.

He returned ten minutes later, but didn't tell me what he went to check on. "Anything you wanna do for awhile?" He asked smiling, his usual gentle smile... Well... Except it was in my face.

"It's hot as hell. Let's go swimming." I decide, jumping out of my chair. I was so ready to get out of that room. We had been going through basically every book on the ship. I was so ready for a break.

We headed for the deck, and barely waiting for Chris, I strip down to a pair of shorts, before diving off the deck and into the water. Yesss. This felt so much better.

"Come on Chris!" I shout, noting Chris's hesitation. He was awkwardly standing on the deck in my bra and undies, trying to cover himself, well... My body. "For a doctor you're awfully shy and weird about certain things!" I call out again, stifling a laugh.

I watch as he takes a deep breath, a hand reaching up and messing with my necklace as he dives off. "Wait, don't touch the necklace! You'll..." I trail off, as a flash of blue light shines in my face, not long after he hits the water. Damn.

"Shit." Chris splutters, awkwardly swimming to the surface. "That's right... I'm sorry I didn't mean to transform..." He muttered sheepishly, looking down at what should be my tail awkwardly.

"It's alright. Just grip the necklace again, you'll transform right back.." I add, still laughing. I suddenly get splashed in the face, with a lot of water. After I can see again, I see Chris grinning, with part of my tail flicking across the surface.

We swam for an hour or so, before we got back aboard the ship, Chris saying he had something to show me. I follow him back inside the oddly quiet ship. "Where is everyone?" I ask, looking around. He leads me to the dinning room, though it's dark, except for a few candles on the table.

"They're out for awhile." He replies, pulling out a chair for me. The dinning room was set up, with candles, and food set up already on the table. A dinner for two. On my spot there was a jewelry box, placed right in front of my plate.

"Chris... It's..." I trail off, gesturing to everything smiling. He still tried to make it special for me, even though the day hadn't exactly gone as planned.

"I'm sorry today didn't go as planned, but I still wanted to do something special for you.." He says, before planting a gentle kiss on my lips. He pulls away, gesturing for me to open the jewelry box.

Inside was a silver bracelet, with a big blue heart hanging from it. The heart was imbedded with small sapphires, covering the entire surface of the heart. "It's beautiful Chris." I pick it up, examining it.

"Not as beautiful as you Luna." He murmured smiling, as he took a seat across from me. "I was originally looking for maybe a mermaid or a fish charm instead, but that caught my eye." He admitted quietly, making me laugh.

"I love it. Thank you." I smiled at him, and we enjoyed our night alone, for the most part. Certain things waited until a different day, but overall, Chris still managed to make the day special, despite circumstance.

(Allison's POV)

I shivered slightly, still half asleep, as I tried to get warm. I burrowed myself under the blankets, and snuggled up against Thomas, hoping that would help.

I felt hair tickling my face, and I groggily open my eyes, to find lavender hair touching my face. Normally, this wasn't an odd occurrence, but as I took a closer look, the lavender hair wasn't attached to me like it should have been. Well, it was, but I was looking at my body... The problem? I wasn't in it.

I back up slowly, sitting up, as I look down. The good thing? I recognized the body I looked down at. The weird part? It was Thomas's. I quickly nudge my body awake, hoping it was Thomas in there, though really, I was hoping this wasn't happening right now. "Thomas? Tom... There's something wrong.."

He shifts, half asleep, before he wakes up. "What's wrong Alli?" He asks, it still hasn't clearly sunk in yet.. I know the moment it does, his now silvery grey eyes widening, as he looks at me. "Alli? Woah..."

"Yea something's up. We need to go tell the others. Maybe we're not the only ones." I decide, quickly getting out of bed, and grabbing some of Thomas's clothes, to get dressed.

I turn to find Thomas, well, my body, blushing profusely as he tried not to look down as he gets dressed. "Thomas? What's wrong?" I ask, genuinely curious.

"I- I feel like... I don't want to look without permission... I feel like I'm peeking when I shouldn't." He finally stammers, blushing even harder.

"Oh. Thomas you're just trying to get dressed, please don't worry about it right now... But I greatly appreciate the thought." I tell him smiling as I walk over to him. I kiss him gently on the cheek, earning me a smile. "Always such a gentleman." I add, as he finishes getting dressed quickly.

We reach the dining room, to discover we're definitely not the only ones. "How the hell did this happen?" Luna said, clearly pissed, as she gestured to herself in Chris's body.

"This has Alan written all over it. I'm guessing cursed treasure. He had us keep some on here yesterday." Kris jumps in, and it made sense really.

"Great. Now how the hell do we fix it?" Luna asks, leaning forward on the table, still irritated.

"I'll look into it, Alan might know how, but I doubt it. Maybe it wears off after a day or so." Chris answers calmly, though we were looking at Luna's body.

"This is beyond weird...." I muse out loud, probably voicing what everyone was thinking. "Looks like we might have to re schedule our plans today Thomas." I add, remembering it was Valentine's Day.

"Oh happy Valentine's Day!" Thomas says, in his usual chipper tone, earning him glares, as everyone now remembers, and are probably disappointed they have to spend it in the wrong body.

"We'll just have to try and go about the day as normal." Morgan announces, though it was Cece we were looking at.

We're interrupted by Nate and Arabella bringing out the food, bickering about something. I glance over at Thomas, who looks a little nervous. "I'm sorry about today Alli. I would still like to do something for you if you don't mind?" He asks shyly, and I couldn't help smiling at him, before agreeing.

We finish eating, before going about our daily tasks, everyone seeming to be in a hurry to finish early. Seems like we weren't the only ones trying to keep some of our plans.

Eventually we dock at a nearby port, everyone going their separate ways. Thomas and I head to the beach first, wanting to go swimming, and hang out there. Though he mentioned he wanted to take me somewhere else later.

Thomas happily starts making a sandcastle on the beach, and I join him. "I feel kinda bad that things turned out like this today Alli." Thomas confesses, frowning slightly.

"It's no ones fault, and it can't be helped. Let's just try to enjoy it." I reassure him, as I continue to help him build our sand castle. "Let's go swimming?" I ask, and he nods, before following me to the water.

I dive right in, splashing Thomas obnoxiously as I dive under water. I come up for air, to get splashed in the face, by a laughing Thomas, well... My face, but definitely Thomas laughing.

We play in the ocean, splashing and chasing each other for sometime. Eventually Thomas catches me, and presses me to him, kissing me. It has more heat behind it than normal, and I try not to think too hard about how we're in the wrong body.

I'm distracted by the sudden cold sensation that over takes my legs, slowly creeping up them. I pull away quickly glancing down, to find my legs, well... Technically Thomas's legs, frozen together in the ocean, and I was slowly freezing from the feet up. "Thomas, you have to stop, and unfreeze me." I tell him, trying not to panic, as I think on how to explain to him in a way that would make sense.

"I'm so sorry Alli." He stutters, a panicked look crossing his features, well.. Mine..

"You have to calm down, it's the only way. Take a deep breath and focus on the water. Hold out your hands, focus on the water. Picture it flowing like normal." I try to explain, while attempting to calm him down at the same time.

"I- I don't know how... If I can..." He stutters, clearly flustered. The ice was now past my waist.

"Thomas. You have to calm down, it's making it worse. It's okay, I promise you can do this." I try to encourage him, hoping this works.

He takes a deep breath, focusing like I told him to, and the ice finally slowly starts to return to flowing like normal water. Thank goodness. I breathe a sigh of relief, and Thomas suggests we get out of the water, and head back towards town. I agree.

Taking my hand, he leads me towards town, close to the time we would normally eat dinner. He leads me to a quiet restaurant, taking me inside. He pulls the chair out for me, like the gentlemen that he is, before taking a seat across from me. "Sorry about the freezing.. I still wanted to do something nice for today, guess that kinda backfired a little." He chucked sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck... Well... Mine... Damn I'll never get used to that.

"I still had fun Thomas, please don't worry about it. It's not like I could control it over night when it first happened to me. You did pretty well, especially considering you had that thrown on you today."

"T-thanks. Here, I wanted to give you this." He adds, shyly handing me a small jewelry box.

Inside was a silver bracelet, that had one big heart with a purple diamond inside it, with two more purple diamonds on either side of it. "Thank you Thomas, it's lovely." I murmur, before leaning across the table to give him a kiss.

"I wasn't exactly sure what color you would like, but I saw it and thought of you..." He says quietly, still shy.

"It's beautiful, thank you." I add, smiling at the quiet pirate across from me. He was different than one expects from a pirate. He has a gentleness to him, when he wasn't fighting. It was endearing.

"It can't compare to you. You're beautiful.... Well.. More like stunning. Beautifully stunning. So much so that I usually have a hard time focusing when you're around." He admits, making me smile even wider, if that were possible. My kind and gentle, yet strong pirate.

(Arabella's POV)

I roll over in my sleep, scratching the back of my leg with my foot, to get the small itch I just had to go away. What the hell? I rub my foot against my leg, feeling something not quite right. I swore I just shaved my legs yesterday... So why the fuck does it feel like I just grew chinchillas on them overnight? "The fuck." I mumble, sitting up lazily before glancing down at myself.

"Holy shit." I curse, when I see that I'm not looking down at my own body, but Nathan's. I look sideways, just to make sure, and sure enough, what should be my body is still sleeping next to me. "Nate." I nudge what should be my shoulder. "Nate." I try again, and the covers are pulled up farther, covering what should be my face. "Aye princess. Something's wrong. Get your ass up." I shove harder, and he finally groans getting up.

"Dammit woman. What?" He growls, not liking that I woke him up.

"Take a look for yourself." I gesture, and his eyes widen when he finally looks down, before looking at me again.

"Son of a bitch..." He curses getting up. "How the hell.."

"I don't know. But I'm guessing and hoping we're not the only ones." I add, as I go get dressed, in Nate's clothes.

"We'll find out when everyone else wakes up... Guess we should still make breakfast and everything like normal." He adds, before getting dressed. "Jesus how do you wear this shit?" He huffs, lifting up one of my bras.

"Put your arms through princess, I'll do the rest." I wink, though he doesn't find it amusing, from the glare he shoots me.

"Whatever, let's hurry, we need to start breakfast." He grumbles, as he quickly finishes getting dressed, but then frowns when he looks at my hair. "Okay...this needs to be out of the way... Help?" He asks, glancing at me. "And maybe could I have my bandanna? It feels weird without it.."

"I'll see what I can do." I agree, before putting what was my hair up in a low bun, before offering him the bandanna.

"Thanks." He mutters, before we head off to the kitchen.

We quickly start making stuff for breakfast as usual... Well... As normal as we could. "Just how the hell does this shit happen anyway." Nate wonders aloud, as I quickly whisk eggs.

"Who the hell knows. As long as it gets fixed eventually." I shrug, throwing the eggs in a pan before handing it to him, well... My body, Nate... Jesus this is too weird.

I bring another pot over to him, and he grabs my wrist, making me face him..well... Hell... "It's sure to be an odd one, but happy Valentine's Day." He murmured quietly, kissing me. I kissed back, trying not to think too hard about how we were switched. Technically I'm kissing myself... This is so fucked.

I pull back, and notice the pan he was still holding was... Well.. Glowing like it was charged. Oh shit. "Nate!" I yelled, about to grab the pan from him but thought better of it. "I can't touch it. Fucking throw it out the window before you blow us up!" I yell, not expecting that to happen. Honestly it never even crossed my mind that he could do that now.

He stared down at the pan in shock, not moving. I ran to the window, opening it, and he finally moves, throwing it out the window, exploding just outside the window, I could literally feel the heat from the small explosion. "Jesus. You almost blew off my face." I huffed, not really mad, just surprised.

"What the fuck... Well... I'm sorry... I don't know..." He trailed off, staring down at what were now his hands, temporarily.

We finished making breakfast, and the sound of voices let us know everyone else was up. I start taking food out, and it sounds like the general agreement seems to be this is somehow Alan's fault, the treasure he had us hold for him. I go back in to grab the next plate, but dodge a charged spoon as it flies past my face, and into the sink filled with water. Luckily the water muffled that.

Nate grabs plates, completely oblivious, as we make our way to the dining room. "Dammit Nathan! Are Ya trying to blow my face off." I yell, as I open up the door to the dining room, bringing the food out.

"You've had your whole life to learn how to control this shit. It's my first day! Ease up woman." He yells back, as we finish bringing out the food, before taking our seats.

"That spoon you threw almost got me." I huff, not liking that he had to try and control my gift.

"I charged a spoon?" He asked, confused. Damn. He makes it hard to stay mad at him.

"Anyway, we'll just have to go about things as normal as we can for today." Morgan announces, but we were actually looking at Cece.

This is beyond weird. We all finish eating, and try to go about the day as normal as possible. Luckily there are no more close calls as we do the dishes. "So what do you want to do today? I think Ed's still stopping at a nearby port." He asks, glancing at me.

"I don't really mind. Whatever you want to do is fine honestly." I shrug it off. I really didn't care what we did, as long as I was with him, the details didn't really matter. "Wait, don't you still have stuff to do? I swore two of the guys asked for stuff..."

"I got most of that ready. But yea. I'm making stuff for Chris and Morgan. Plus I was gonna do some cakes probably as well..." He trailed off, thinking.

"Then let me help. I don't mind. Honestly I like just us hanging out in the kitchen anyways." I admit, as I already go to grab the ingredients to start making cake.

"I can't tell if you mean that, or are just saying it..." He muses dumbfounded, to which I roll my eyes.

"As long as I'm hanging out with you, the details really don't matter. I mean it." I clarify, as we get to work.

We finish making the food, and start decorating cakes a hour later. We decorated them all slightly different, but the last one he said I could have whatever I wanted on it. So of course, I immediately went for the strawberry sauce, grabbing the bottle from the fridge.

"I should've known." Nate shook his, well... My head, laughing, upon seeing my choice.

I decorated the little cake, but before I finished, he held out his hand for the sauce, and I gave it to him. About five minutes later the sauce bottle started glowing, startling Nate.

He thew it out the window quickly, frowning slightly, for that was the third mishap today. "It had to be the strawberry sauce didn't it." I pouted slightly, making him laugh.

"I'm sorry... Also sorry that today wasn't probably what you were expecting, but here." He said softly, taking a small jewelry box out of his pocket. "It caught my eye... I know you're not big on jewelry, and what jewelry you do like is usually different from the normal.."

Inside was a bracelet, a cord bracelet, with a bunch of little hearts threaded between the two cords, with one big heart. They all had a Celtic design on it, and I loved it. "I love it. Thanks." I tell him, hugging him. "Yea, I do always lean towards simpler, or the earthy and natural looking stuff... My mom was like that too. She liked the Indian jewelry..." I add, looking at it.

Later we had a small gathering with the rest of the crew, and the next day, everything finally returned to normal.

                         (Kris's POV)

Everyone seemed to forget about what was going on now, chatting away, thinking of the past. It was good to be all together again, and have things seem a little lighter... I still couldn't believe I was still alive, well... Alive as I could be... Just in an odd way... I was confused when I woke up, and Russ had to explain to me..

I woke up disorientated, and confused. "Russ she's awake!" Luna's voice rang clear, along with the sound of running feet.

I looked up to see my boyfriend staring at me, standing next to the bed I was in. He looked like he had been crying. It all kinda came back to me then... The getting stabbed... I died right? Or was it all some horrible dream? "Was it a dream? A nightmare?" I asked, looking at Russ.

He shook his head no, as he fidgeted nervously with his hands, as well as shifting his weight back and forth with his feet, swaying slightly. "No.... It wasn't a dream... You... You died in my arms...." He said nervously, his eyes still a little watery.

"Then how?" I asked, not sure how I was still able to talk to him...

He sighed, before answering reluctantly. "I... I did something selfish Kris.... I had a way to save you, and keep you here with me... I wasn't ready to let you go.... But... I hope you don't hate me for making this choice for you...." He trailed off, his fingers shaking as he nervously runs his fingers back through his messy blonde hair. "I used the dead man's chest to bring you back. You're hearts in the chest love, and you're soon to be the new captain of the Flying Dutchman."

I stared at him for a moment, his words sinking in. "You.... You brought me back?"

"Yea... I know it might not be the life you want, but I couldn't bear losing you..." He trailed off, clearly getting more nervous.

He saved me. He found a way so I could live. My heart soared at the thought, I have a second chance. "Russ... I'll take any life I can have. I didn't want to leave. I kinda can't believe it, but I'm happy. You saved me, and we can still be together. I get a second chance." I tell him, as I sit up, and grab his arm, pulling him to me. I hugged him to me, grateful that I was back, and I could touch him. I didn't have to leave him, or the crew, at least not permanently.

I felt him relax slightly, as he ran his fingers through my hair. "I'm so glad you're not upset with me... Hell... I'm glad you're still here... I couldn't bear to be without you...." He murmured quietly, kissing the top of my head.

He kissed my forehead next, then finally touched my lips with his.

"Hey dinner is ready, I'm gonna grab Chris and see if it's okay for you two to walk out there yet, or if he wants you to stay." Luna interrupted my thoughts, leaving the room. The rest of the girls followed her, along with little Dee.

"I'm sorry... It's my fault..." Arabella said suddenly, reminding me she was on the second bed, next to mine. "If you guys wouldn't have had to come get me, it wouldn't have happened..."

"How the hell.... Someone else stabbed me... That's hardly your fault. What were we supposed to do leave you there?" I snort, shaking my head. "It's not your fault. Don't you dare sit here and say it is."

"I can't help it. It happened while you all were trying to get me out. It broke my heart watching Russ cry, thinking he'd lost you. We all were devastated. I couldn't help but be upset, and thinking it was my fault one of my best friends is dying, and my other friend is losing the woman he loves...." She trailed off quietly.

"Don't. We can't change what happened. Besides I'm here now, that's what matters." I try to reassure her.

"You leave for the Flying Dutchman in a few days. And you have to hide the chest..." She adds suddenly, reminding me.

"Yea. I'll see you all though. We'll both be sailing in the same ocean... As for the chest, I don't know yet... Should I hide it on land? Would it be safe to keep it on the dutchman? Or what if someone on my new crew wanted to take it to become captain?" I list off all the possibilities.

"I'll guard it. Leave it with us. I'd guard it with my life, me and Nate could keep it safe. I'm sure the whole crew is willing to guard it." She replies quickly, determination in her brown eyes as she looked over at me.

"I'll think about it..." I trail off, the sound of footsteps letting us know Luna was back.

"Chris gave me the okay. And look who I brought?" She smirked slightly, as Russ and Nate stepped into the room behind her.

I smiled at Russ, as he walked over, letting me lean on him as he helped me to the dinning room. Nate helped Arabella, and not long after, we all took our seats in the dinning room.

"So Dee, I still don't understand why you were at the navy prison? And why are you helping us?" Cecilia asks the little girl, who was currently seated on Allison's lap.

The little girl glanced around, her orange eyes meeting everyone's gaze, before she sighs. "I was looking for a friend. He died, and was with me on the island. When they tell you a treasure grants eternal life, it doesn't mean exactly that. We both died, and I tried to save him. But now we are both cursed, or, ghost, doomed to walk the earth. We got separated, and I've been searching for him... I knew it was a long shot, the navy prison. But when I heard you talking about the island, I saw my chance. I was hoping you would help me in my search, once your problems have been solved." She explained, sighing wistfully, at some memory we couldn't see.

"Of course Dee.. We would love to help you." Morgan tells her, earning him a smile from the ghost girl.

"If we make it through this." Ed snorts, earning him an elbow to the side from Penelope, who glares at him.

"Way to be cynical Ed." Russ scoffs, glaring at the navigator.

"Tomorrow is the last day, and almost half of it will be spent getting there." Ed shrugs it off, taking another bite of food.

The rest of dinner is filled with constant chatter among the crew, and it made me realize, I'll miss this, even when I have my own ship. I went to bed in my normal bed that night, trying not to think too hard about how in a couple days, I take over the Flying Dutchman.

The next morning, everyone was on edge. It was the final day, and the wind and waters weren't cooperating with us. We were falling behind. We tried to go about the day as normal, but it was difficult with this looming over our heads.

The island was finally in sight, still a ways off, about a little more than halfway through the day, but we were not even given a chance to fully process that we were close, when the sound of a cannon going off, and the ship rocking sideways, alerted us we were under attack.

We all rush to the deck, weapons drawn, wondering who the hell was attacking. We got our answer, as the Queen Anne's Revenge pulled up beside us. What the fuck was Blackbeard doing?

"Times up Sirius!" Blackbeard shouted cruelly, as he boarded our ship. His sadistic grin wide, and his yellow eyes filled with mirth.

"Bullshit! We have half a day left!" Russ shouts angrily, and captain Morgan steps forward from our group, in front of the entire crew plus Dee. The Fenrir wasn't far behind us, and had pulled up on the other side of us.

"No. The deal was a week from when I talked to Morgan. It was around this time of day, then. Making this a week exactly." He said, getting a sick form of pleasure from telling us that we did not indeed have all of today. That bastard.

"Wait. What if the captain of the Flying Dutchman voids your deal?" I ask, hoping I found a loop hole.

He snorts. "Jones wouldn't, though yes, I'm aware that there is to be a new captain in a few days time. Regardless, Morgan and I shook on it. He's been marked. Even the captain of the Flying Dutchman can't un mark him. If he backs out of the deal now, he dies." Blackbeard smirks triumphantly.

"Remember my request, and conditions of the deal." Morgan says firmly, glaring at Blackbeard.

"And I'm a man of my word. Your crew goes free, as we talked about. Just you and the ship are going to be apart of my collection." He smirked, looking at Morgan.

"Captain what is he talking about?" Ed asks, voicing the question we were all wondering. How was he just taking Morgan?

"I made it part of the deal. If I should fail, in exchange for me and the ship, the rest of the crew goes free. This is my mess, you shouldn't all be punished. You've all suffered enough as it is." Morgan announces, looking serious. "Funto has already agreed to take you where you need to go, aboard the Fenrir."

"This is bullshit!" Penelope snaps, drawing her katana.

"You can't ask us to just leave you!" Cecilia says angrily, sounding more like herself than she had in days.

"I'm not asking. I'm telling. Go gather what you need, and board the Fenrir." Captain yells, fire in his stormy grey eyes, though you could tell he wished this wasn't happening.

He walked over to Cecilia, slipping her some paper or something I couldn't really see, before looking at us. We were all frozen in place, no one moving. This was our home.

"I said go! Get out of here." Morgan yelled, the anguish clear in his voice. As he looked at all of us. "Take care of each other. Take care of Cecilia for me." He continues, his voice cracking at the end.

"No!!!!" Cecilia screamed. "I want to make a deal!"

A/n: hi everyone!!! Sorry for the wait!! Holy shit though... This is 9978 words guys... Like longest chapter ever! But sorry about the wait!
