--Hussain's POV ---

Today was the day of the dance. I had managed to ask Arya to it and at first, well the first few times she refused.

But I was stubborn and I tend to get what I want.

---Aakash's POV ---

"I warned you to stay away from him!" I yelled at Ananaya.

"You can't control me!" She said.

"I'm only saying it because I care about you. He's not a good person," I said.

"He told me that he's with the girl of his dreams and he's done with his player ways," she said.

Girl of his dreams?

Great, now I have to keep a serious eye on that son of a b****. Nobody is going to hurt my best friend and get away with it.

"Can we go to the dance now or not?" She questioned.

"Ya, let's get going," I said.

---Neerav's POV---

"What's wrong?" Anisha asked as I kept looking at my phone.

"Remember my friend, Aakash? He's saying to keep an eye on his best friend and the guy that's going to be with her," I said.

"I would have said the same thing," she said as we walked into the hall.

---Hussain's POV ----

I'm not even going to say I'm suprised.

Her dress was a simple black dress, but it looked good on her.

Also, not surprising was all her friends watching us. Someone tell them to pay attention to their own dates! I'm not planning on hurting her! Geez people!

Now here is what is surprising, the way others were looking at her. I'm guessing nobody could've thought that she'd pull this off. Yes, that includes me.

"Do you want to dance?" I asked.

"We are at a dance! Of course," she said.

"Do I just tend to annoy you or are these remarks just for me?" I questioned.

"You tend to annoy me," she replied. "Now, come on."

When we went to the dance floor so did her friends. Should have figured that one out.

"Your friends are annoying," I said.

"Your face is annoying," she replied.

I gave a seriously look, to which she just laughed.

We began to let the music take over.

Once the song was over we decided to head back, of course so did her friends.

"Tell me something, are you being babysat?" I asked.

"No. I didn't know they would be here," she said.

I don't know why, but I trusted her.

"I trust you," I said.

Maybe that way she can trust me as well.

"Hey, can I dance with you?" Some guy asked her.

"She's here with me. You can leave," I said.

Not because her friends are watching, but because she was here with me! I was trying to have a conversation with her and this guy just cut in.

"I was asking her," he said.

We both looked at her.

"No. Thank you for the offer," she said.

Rejecting in a polite way. That's something extremely new to me.

"It's just a dance," he said. "It's not like you are cheating on him."

"She said she's not interested," I said.

"She didn't say that," he said.

"I'm really not interested," she said.

With that he left, giving me a dirty look which I returned.

If he wants to fight then tell him to bring it.

"Thanks for standing up for me," she said.

"It's okay," I said.

"Why are guys being like this with me?" She asked.

"Because you look amazing," I replied.

"Ya, but...wait, oh my God. Aakash is going to murder him for talking to me like that," she said.

"What? How the hell did he even hear that?" I asked suprised.

"Oh, he's quick to figure out what someone's intentions are," she said.

"Really?" I asked.

She nodded.

Your going to die Hussain, I warned myself. It's going to be a long and painful death.

"Kaha?" She asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

I shook my head.

"So can we go home now?" She asked.

"I don't know. Are you friends ready to leave?" I asked and she laughed at that again.

"Probably," she said.

"Then let's go," I said.

We walked outside and there was a guy just outside passing out random remarks.

We tried to ignore it at first but then I completely lost it.

"Hussain!" I heard her warn but I didn't care.

"What the hell is your problem?" I asked him.

"What? I'm not bothering anyone," he said.

"You are bothering everyone!" I said.

"Aren't you the player? Why does this effect you?" He asked.

"That's none of your business. I'm not going to tolerate this behavior. And FYI, not once did I disrespect anyone. The only reason people think of me as a player, was because of how many people I've dated. Not once did I actually like you are acting," I said.

"Hussain, come on. Let's just go," Arya said taking my arm.

"Tum apna dost kha saath jho," I said.

"Hussain," she said in a whisper.

"Go," I said in a stern voice.

She nodded and left.

"So she's your new toy," he said.

"Don't you f*cken dare call her a toy," I warned him.

"Why not? You are a player and you need toys," he said.

It took less than a second after that sentence for my fist to meet his face.

"Hussain! Stop it!" Atif said trying to pull me away from him.

I had no idea he was here. Maybe he decided to keep an eye on me as well.

"I f*cken warned him," I said in anger.

"Relax. Calm down," Atif said. "Breathe."

I tried to calm down and eventually did.

"How'd you know i was there?" I asked Atif once I was calm.

"Arya called me," he said.

"You have her number?" I asked.

"Ya, we met in a class and we're part of a group project about a year ago," he said.

"You never told me about her," I said.

"We should probably get you back," he said.

"Ya. I'm probably going to be in a boat load of trouble with the dean come Monday," I said.

"I'd hope not," he said.
