Chapter 10
When Ahmet got up from the ground, he could not see his surroundings clearly. It was pitch dark outside. Only the surroundings of street lamps were visible. Ahmet could feel that he was on the grass. He tried to stand up but fell again due to the pain in his right leg. He turned back to get the reason behind the pain in his leg, but he didn't see it too. As he touched it with his hand, he felt some bone fragments bulge under his skin. It was just a small piece and was close to the knee. He guessed that his right radius was broken at the neck level.
Pushing trough his pain, he reduced the broken piece back with his hand. But something to wrap his leg and something like a stick for walking was necessary. He wondered where to find them. While visiting the first and second floors, he realized that a room was a dedicated room for infirmary of that floor, but it was both difficult and dangerous to climb up. Maybe there was medical equipment in one of the rooms on the ground floor that he didn't enter. Another option was, if there was for sure, patient ambulances. Because these vehicles must have had some materials to respond to emergencies. Ahmet knew that where he jumped down from front side. Because it was close to the tower. But it surrounded by barbed wire, it was the most logical decision (although it's extremely dangerous) to enter the building.
He tried to stand up again, but this time he failed to stand on his feet. He fell to his knees. He started looking around for a stick or something. He crawled towards a stick he saw on the ground. He picked it up with his right hand. Then, he planted the stick and tried to stay on it. But with every move, came the unbearable pain back. Tears slipped from Ahmet's eyes. Unable to bear the pain, he cried out. There were those who heard his scream, but Ahmet did not notice them, yet.
He was walking slowly towards the front door of the building. At the same time, he was looking for an ambulance. He was like those who saw a mirage in the desert though. He couldn't believe everything he saw, especially with that device in his head. When Ahmet fell, there was nothing he could do but to hope that the demonic device had been broken. Ahmet stopped abruptly. He looked back to where he had fallen. How did he get here? He couldn't remember the moment he fell. He remembered the events; that men cornering him, demanding money, he deceiving them, and finally locking himself in a room. But nothing afterwards. The next memory he remembered was writhing in pain on the floor. There was nothing in between!
Ahmet wanted to continue walking, but something else caught his attention. The bare-chested men she had seen before were hiding behind the bushes, staring at him. Ahmet looked at them for a while. For Ahmet ,these men had no intention of attacking him. This opinion was reinforced by the fact that some of the men looked elsewhere. Ahmet wanted to continue his movement, but those behind the bushes were signaling him not to move. His movements were very exciting. Therefore, Ahmet decided to do what he said. All of the men turned their attention to the bushes. Ahmet was standing still. Those in the bush began to move slowly. They were split into groups.
A deer jumped out of the bushes and ran across the field. Everyone threw their sticks at the deer but could not hit it. One of the men pointed to a place near Ahmet. When Ahmet looked back, he saw that there was a piece of wood in the place shown. He took the piece. The man was now signaling for him to throw. Ahmet threw the stick in his hand with all his might. He had shot the deer.
The men stopped and looked at the deer. When they saw that he had been shot, they began to cry for joy. A person close to Ahmet went and touched his shoulder. Ahmet saw people approaching the deer he had shot. The man next to him took Ahmet's arm and brought him closer to the deer. Every time Ahmet took a step, tears came to his eyes. His hands began shivering too. It wasn't a deer that lay bleeding on the ground. When he came near, he saw a man whose head had been smashed by an iron stick. He was completely naked, trembling slightly in his arms and legs. Ahmet's hands began to shiver when he saw the man lying on the ground. He had forgotten the first rule; he could never trust what he was thinking. Now he had to get used to the difference between perception and reality.
Thanks to the help of the men they were hunting with, Ahmet had entered the building. But this time the room was different. The walls were blue, on the left there was an exit to the adjacent garden, the room on the left had also disappeared. In the middle was a blue table. When Ahmet entered the room, he saw several people in the waiting room smiling and looking at a computer. The man next to him was still holding him firmly. When Ahmet turned to look at him, he realized that the man was dressed.
