4th Stick

If looks could kill, Martinez would've been dead by now.

I kept shooting daggers at him since I spotted him going down at the staircase. Even at school, he looks like the same jerk from last night.

With a helmet in his right hand, he's wearing that same leather jacket from yesterday and a pair of dark ripped jeans.

"Missed me?" He flashed an exasperating smile.

God knows how much restraint I'm doing right now to keep my fists from clenching. I will need to keep my temper in check or I might just break his pretty face.

Yes, I'm not denying it. He's handsome, but that doesn't mean I like him.

"Do you have any idea what time it is?" I glared at him, pointing at his watch.

I've been waiting for him here at the school parking lot for ages! Well, almost an hour to be precise.

He smirked, combing his fingers through his tousled hair as he showed his chocolate eyes brimming with amusement. "Time for me to keep you satiated?"

I scoffed. "Let's just get this over, shall we?"

The faster we deal with this, the less time will be wasted.

He hopped on his motorcycle, strapping on his black helmet which matches the same velvet shade of his vintage looking jacket.

"Let's go grab something to eat first. My treat," he said, holding out a white helmet for me.

I cocked an eyebrow up, refusing to accept what's happening in front of me.

"This is not what I signed up for! You said if I survive a night with you, I win," I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air.

And there's no way I'm riding with him! He's a train of bad luck and I'm not taking chances. He already messed up my paper.

He sighed and got down his bike.

"Look, everything that's about to happen now is part of the wager. I'm starving. A little dinner with me won't hurt, would it?" He flashed his pearly white teeth.

What? So having dinner is all we're going to do tonight? He's probably hungry for something else other than food.

"So you're expecting something sizzling happening tonight, are you? Now how are you going to get that stick if we do that?" He wiggled his eyebrows and winked at me.

Did I freaking say that out loud?!

"W-what? Don't be delusional, you pervert!"

I huffed and crossed my arms.

Well, dinner wasn't what I freaking painted in my mind when he set my virginity as a wager! With how flirty he talks, a normal dinner with him will not enter your imagination.

That doesn't exist with playboys like him. They'll probably make you their fucking dinner.

He offered the helmet to me again. "If you don't accept this, I'm really going to think that you're taking precautions because you're afraid you'll fall for me."

I rolled my eyes. "What? You can try hard to charm me, Martinez, but just don't. That way we can both save our precious time. Because I will never fall for boys like you."

Amusement never left his eyes as he watched me take his helmet and hop on his bike.

"Wow, you really never fail to amaze me woman."

I wanted to roll my eyes at him again. It's ridiculous to ride with him, but he's annoying the hell out of me.

And I don't have my brother's car anyway.

I can hail a cab, but you can say that I'm too frugal to spend a penny because of this jerk.

I placed my hands on his shoulders to secure myself during the ride.

He better drive safely or I'll whack his head off. I've never been into an accident during my eighteen years of existence.

I was surprised when I felt sparks as his calloused hands guided mine only to encircle his waist.

My chest is resting on his back and I can feel the warmth emitting from his snug body.

"What the fuck are you doing, you pervert?!" I'm sure he heard the annoyance in my voice.

"Now, I can't let my woman fall. You'll be more secured this way. Not unless this small moves are making you fall for me?" He asked, bringing the engine to life.

"Just shut up and drive, will you?" I inhaled only to be met with his minty scent.

His laughter sent vibrations to my body and I couldn't help but pinch his side in annoyance.

"Alright! Geez, you're so violent babe."

I rolled my eyes as I saw his amused face in the side mirror.

How long could this night be?

"Do you like the ambiance, babe?"

I gritted my teeth, putting the napkin on my lap.

"Shut up before I throw this candle at you!"

He chuckled at my response. He laid his elbows on the table as he rested his chin in the back of his hands.

I glared at him as we waited for the waiter to serve our meal. Yes, he drove us to a fine dining restaurant to have dinner. A restaurant in a fucking hotel!

He even booked for a room with only one bed for the night!

I knew this wouldn't be a freaking simple dinner. Not when this pervert is involved.

All I can do is milk cash from this perverted cow as revenge. If you're thinking I ordered the most expensive dish in the menu, yes, I did.

It's better than my fist flying to his face again, or kicking him in the shins.

Well, he said I can have anything I want and he's paying.

Once the sun rises, this will be all over. I hope this will be one of the scenarios in my life where time flies fast.

But seems like time doesn't want to cooperate with me.

Up to the point where it had to end for me.

I remembered staring into the brown orbits of his eyes. Then a few moments later, I was shot dead.
