So she left me alone in my truck and I just continued to stare at the spot she disappeared to. I will never get used to her running off on me like that. This is  the fourth time she's done that and if I can help it, it's not happening again.

I was about to tell her the truth. Seeing as we're starting different chapters in our lives, I thought it'd be a good time as any to tell her how I truly felt and that I wanted to ask her out. Until I saw her expression, that is.

Seeing how she looked made my courage run out. I guess it was stupid to start the conversation with a kiss but I just needed to do it before I gave her the opportunity to dump me officially.

And there weren't many words exchanged but I'm guessing she just dumped me. I think.

I grabbed the remains of our dinner and threw it at a nearby trash can then got in my truck, ready to leave.

This is goodbye I guess. Whew. I expected something more warm. Anyway, what can I do besides get in my car and drive off?
