Vihan's POV

For now, I did what I could: I pulled out my phone and snapped his picture, my thumb hovering over the screen for a second longer than necessary. I didn’t trust him, and I needed to know everything about him... who he was, where he came from, what his intentions were with Roohi—I’d uncover it all.

If he thought he could waltz into Roohi’s life and make her blush with a few pretty words, he was in for a rude awakening. So I silently vowed to find out everything about him.

For now, I stayed in the shadows, watching their interaction like a hawk. My protective instincts screamed at me to intervene, but I held back. She didn’t need me charging in like some overbearing fool. Not yet. And she was safe as her brothers were there.

When he finally backed off—temporarily, I knew—I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. But my relief was short-lived because, not ten minutes later, Krish was back, asking her to dinner.

“Dinner? Why?” Roohi asked, genuinely confused.

Krish smiled, clearly thinking he was charming. “Why do people go to dinner? To enjoy good food, good company…” He let the implication hang in the air.

“Oh, you mean a date,” Roohi asked.

"That's enough!! You wait and watch!!"
I muttered under my breath, my patience getting thinner by the second.

Roohi, to her credit, handled it with her usual grace. But I’d had enough. If Krish wanted a fight, he was going to get one—just not in the way he expected.

It was then that inspiration struck.

I casually scrolled through my phone, pulling up Krish’s social media profile. It didn’t take long to uncover the evidence—pictures of him with different women, each one looking more infatuated than the last, only for them to disappear from his feed as if they’d never existed. Clearly, Krish had a habit of cycling through girlfriends the way most people went through socks.

I contacted a few people, and set my plan into motion. If Krish thought he could make a move on Roohi without any consequences, he was about to learn just how wrong he was.

And that’s when the plan started to take shape. Fortunately or unfortunately, I had also dated some of them.

With a quick flick of my thumb, I began reaching out to the women in those pictures. A few calls here, a couple of strategically crafted messages there, and soon enough, I had a list of confirmed attendees. I didn’t tell them much just that there was a party happening at this very bar, and they’d be welcome guests. After all, who wouldn’t want to enjoy a free drink or two in a lively atmosphere?

The beauty of my plan was in its simplicity. I didn’t need to ask these women to do anything specific; their mere presence would be enough to expose Krish for the serial charmer he truly was.

Fifteen minutes later, the first one arrived. I watched from my spot at the bar, she was tall, confident, and exuded an air of self-assuredness that Krish hadn’t anticipated. She was looking for me but before she could find me, her eyes landed on him, a flicker of recognition crossing her face. Her lips curled into a sly smile as she went to him, her heels clicking against the floor like the ticking of a countdown timer.

"Krish," she purred, her voice dripping with a mock surprise. "Fancy running into you here."

The look on Krish’s face was priceless. For a split second, he froze, his confident façade slipping as he scrambled to regain his composure. "Oh, uh, hey... Niya, right?"

"Wow," she said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. "Didn’t think you’d remember me. After all, you’re not exactly known for keeping in touch, are you?"

I nearly choked on my drink. This was going to be better than I’d imagined.

Roohi, ever the diplomat, glanced between them with a polite but puzzled expression. "You two know each other?"

"Oh, we go way back," Niya said, her tone casual but loaded with sarcasm, "Don’t we, Krish?"

Krish let out a strained chuckle. "Yeah, uh, it’s been a while."

Before he could say anything else, another woman entered the bar. This one was petite, with a sharp bob-cut hair and an even sharper gaze. She spotted Krish almost immediately and made a beeline for him.

Woohoo!!

"Krish!" she exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and delight. "I can’t believe it’s you!"

"Ananya," he said, his voice cracking slightly. "What a... surprise." The nervous look on his face was priceless.

I had to bite the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing. Two down, and it was already getting good.

Ananya turned to Niya, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Oh, hi. I don’t think we’ve met. How do you know Krish?"

Niya’s smile was all teeth. "Oh, we used to date. Briefly."

"Really?" Ananya said, tilting her head. "What a coincidence. So did I."

The temperature around Krish seemed to drop by several degrees. He cleared his throat, looking like he wanted to crawl into the nearest hole and never come out.

Roohi, to her credit, tried to diffuse the tension. "Wow, Krish, it seems like you’ve had quite the social life."

"Uh, yeah," he muttered, tugging at his collar. "Small world, huh?"

But the world wasn’t done shrinking yet.

The third woman arrived not long after, her presence turning heads as she walked in with an effortless elegance. Her name was Meera, and she wasted no time making her presence known.

"Krish," she said, her voice cool and measured. "What a surprise. I didn’t expect to see you here."

"Meera," he said weakly, his face now a shade closer to crimson. "Hi."

Niya and Ananya exchanged knowing looks, and I could tell they were enjoying this as much as I was.

"Let me guess," Meera said, glancing at the other women. "You two also fell for his ‘charming’ routine?"

"You could say that," Niya replied, smirking.

“Krish!” a voice called out, overly enthusiastic. He turned to see Natasha, a gorgeous girl, I’d dated casually a few months ago. She was dressed to kill, her smile wide as she sauntered over to him.

“Natasha, what are you doing here!” he asked, his voice loud enough to turn a few heads—including her brothers.

Great!!
