It was really strange as she never talked about any guy and I had never seen her talking to anyone other than Mihir, me, and her brothers/cousins.

" So, I am a doctor and everyone knows I am very handsome. " I said even before I could think about it. But why did I say that?

Wait!! It seemed she didn't hear it.

Thank God! I didn't want things to become weird between us. As it is, it was getting weird.

Why the hell was she ogling at them?

" Siddh is a boxing champion like Gautam uncle. No one will ever mess with me if I marry him. And Parshav is a Prince. Wow!! " She said looking at both of them continuously.

" So what?? I belong to a royal family too. " I was getting annoyed all of a sudden; what was so special about them?

Shut up, you idiot!! Do you want to get married?? I scolded myself.

" Why are you telling me all that? Of course, I know it." She said but still kept ogling at them.

What was wrong with her?

" So?? " I asked with a shocked expression.

" So?? " She made a face as if she didn't get what I was saying.

If she wanted a guy who was a handsome doctor, a family friend, or a prince, then why the hell was she looking somewhere else when I was standing right in front of her?

Oh, idiot! Why would she be interested in you?  You are just her friend. Like she is your best friend... The inner voice said.

" Shhh... Let me enjoy the wedding and decide who is the better one out of the two men. " She said looking at both Siddh and Parshav. "

" Better for what? " I asked her immediately.

" For me to get married. " She replied instantly.

Has she fallen on her head??

" Roohi!! What... "

" Shh... Our friends are getting married. We should go after them. "  Roohi said and went to the mandap after the bride and groom. I looked at both men and followed her.

"Wait! We need to talk. "

" Not right now!"

" Why are you behaving so differently all of a sudden, I know your family wants you to get settled, but what do you want?"

" I had not given it a thought, but now that even Gaurvi and Mihir are getting married, my family is getting more persuasive. They are looking for eligible bachelors... And are pressuring me to tell them if I like someone or get married to the guy they choose for me." She replied, still looking at them.

Gosh!! Why was I getting so worked up??

" And you are okay with it?"

"Hmm, I think, I should get serious about it now. I have to get married one day, why not now?" She shrugged.

" But that is too sudden... You never told me about all this, there was nothing like this just a few days ago, then what happened overnight? And why are you looking so pretty all of a sudden? " I asked.

" I know that I am just an average-looking girl, but don't you think you are being a bit insensitive by saying that I am looking pretty all of a sudden?" She looked hurt.

" Hey! When did I say you are not pretty? Beauty runs in your family. Everyone is so good-looking in your family, including you." I replied.

" But you just said that. Why am I looking so pretty all of a sudden? That means I was not pretty before today?" She frowned. 

" Roohi, you have always been very pretty," I said raising both my hands as in surrender.

" Liar!! Don't lie, Vihan. I know you too well for that. You are a typical man; you compliment every girl around, except me of course, but see, you complimented me today, for the first time in my life, when I had a makeover." She was upset all of a sudden now.

" Roohi, it is not like that..."

" Let it be!! See there are so many beautiful girls; go and flirt. You might find some girls who are willing to go on dates with you. Let me enjoy looking at guys. I never bothered to look at anyone; my books were more fascinating to me, but now it is high time I behave like normal girls, as Ruhan suggested." She said and turned to go.

Ruhan, what the hell did that idiot say to her?
