Vihan's POV

Just then we saw Gauravi coming with her family.

She looked pretty, but I felt bad for Gauravi for her situation and felt good for Mihir as he was madly in love with her and I was sure that he would make her the happiest girl in the world very soon again.

"Oh, God! I was late! She would be annoyed with me. I was supposed to be with her. " Roohi was feeling guilty as she was supposed to go and be with her and come back now with the bride.  So I thought of changing the topic.

" She is looking so pretty, but why the hell is she wearing that veil? Is that Gauravi? Who covers the face with a veil these days?  What's wrong with her??" I asked what was bothering me as I  had not expected this from Gauravi. She was not such a girl to accept even if she was forced to do it.

" Whatever!! She is looking beautiful, but why did she change her lehenga? " Roohi muttered as if she was thinking aloud.

" Hunh? What?" I asked her.

" Nothing! "

I looked at Mihir, and somehow Somehow, I felt that something was not right. He looked upset. But why?

" Anyway, I think she is wearing this veil to tease Mihir. She knows how crazy he is about her. Maybe that's why he is a bit upset. " I said looking at him. His face was without any expression or emotions.

" Maybe, she and her pranks. Anyway, let's tease them. "  Roohi said and I nodded.

" Hey Mihir, are you even breathing?? " Roohi said and giggled. I looked at her with surprise, when did she learn to tease? Maybe she was learning from her family. We all knew that Ron was such a tease, but I liked Roohi doing it and joined the teasing.

" Is your heart working well?? " I said and placed a hand on his heart to check his heartbeat. He hit my hand.

" Shut up!! Behave! " Mihir glared at both of us. But we just grinned after getting a reaction out of him.

I don't know why, but Mihir was looking very upset. He was very happy when we came here, but at the moment, he was standing here as if he was forced to stand here.  Was he getting cold feet? Or was he annoyed with Gauravi because she had a veil?

Gauravi approached the mandap with measured steps, while Mihir stood there without any expression on his face. The excitement he had when he came here was gone.

" Why are you looking so tense all of a sudden??  Are you stressed about the wedding night?? Don't worry, I will give you some tips. " I whispered to lighten his mood and remind him that he has to smile.

" Shut up! " Mihir said with a clenched jaw.

What was wrong with him?

After the exchange of garlands, the Jaimala were led to the mandap.

" Despite the veil, she is looking so pretty, I wonder why I never flirted with her? " I said to tease Mihir. He didn't react, but Roohi made a face and rolled her eyes.

" What?? No comment from your side?? " I asked as I had expected her to say something.

" Well, I am more interested in all the handsome men present here. I must say, Parshav Rajvanshi is so handsome. Even Siddh is looking awesome today... tall, dark, and handsome, just like his dad and Gautam uncle. " She said all of a sudden.

Did she just say, what I think she said?

Did Roohi say that? I mean, Gauravi could make a comment like this, but Roohi?? Something was wrong... Something had changed overnight.

The way she’d looked—confident, composed, and so breathtakingly beautiful that it was almost unfair. But it wasn’t just her beauty that had me distracted. It was her attitude, the way she seemed to keep me at a distance as if I didn’t matter.

I didn’t understand it.

Was I dreaming? I pinched myself and winced.

" Why are you looking at all the men around all of a sudden?? " I asked, as it was for her.  Was she behaving weirdly, or was I?

"What? Why can't I look at guys? Is it written somewhere that I can't?" Instead of replying, she asked me a counterquestion.

" But why all of a sudden, you never talked about anyone till date, why this transformation all of a sudden? " I could not help asking.

" Now that both Raj and Ron bhai are married, my family wants me to get married. They want me to meet eligible bachelors, So I am looking around to see who might be a good match for me. These two look good; they both are doctors, very handsome, and belong to our friend circle, so our families know each other. Doesn't that make them more eligible?" She said checking out both of them.
