After Pogo had told everyone about helping Mr. Hargreeves enact his plan to kill himself, it made Ryder enraged. He had told Diego to drop him off at his house because he was going to pack, he can't keep making the trip between the house and his house anymore so he was going to move full time.

At least until the end of the world passes, he doesn't think he can keep living in that house with his family and act like everything is okay when they're going to die in a few days. "Thanks, Diego, I'll get a taxi back to the mansion," Ryder says unbuckling and opening the door. "Course Man, hey," Diego said the last part to get Ryder's attention.

He turned back around and hummed at Diego to let him know he's listening. "You're good for Klaus you know? I can see that you like him and I know he likes you, even if he's too stubborn to see it." Ryder smiles kicking the gravel with his feet slightly.

"Klaus deserves someone who can give him the world." Ryder ended the conversation with a wave, he rubbed his hands together before he grasped the door of the home. He didn't see any cars in the driveway but that doesn't mean anything. His hunch was right when he heard voices coming from the living room, he closed his eyes and grasped the doorway before letting his hand drop and he starts to walk towards the living room.

"Hey Ryder, where have you been?" Florence grabbed the remote and paused the tv, she had her arms around Kennedy who was cuddled against her. Ryder sighed and sat on the armrest of the chair that Holden was sitting in. "I'm here to pack my things." Ryder put his hand on the back of the chair as he watched his family members all talk over each other.

Miles clapped his hands together and whistled. "Everyone, stop talking. One at a time please." Miles sat back down when he realized they had quieted down. "Why are you moving?" Holden asks looking up at Ryder, hard to notice because they were all born at the same time but Holden is the smallest of the kids which Ryder often forgets that he wears his heart on his sleeve.

"I need a change, which is why I'm moving in with Klaus." Ryder half lied but he had practice lying so he thinks he pulled it off. "You don't need to move in with him Ry, he's not a good influence on you." Ryder knew this would happen, he knew his mother would try to convince him to stay by turning his best friend into a bad influence. "I love Klaus, and I am going to be there for him. I want space so you can't do that to me anymore."

"You want to be there for him or need to be?" Kennedy asks softly, looking at Ryder. "I want to be, just because we met in rehab doesn't mean we're the same people that we were."

Ryder felt a hand on his arm, he looked down to see Holden looking at him and leaned down because he felt Holden had to whisper something to him. "You aren't leaving because of me right?" Holden whispered to which Ryder shook his quickly. "I'm not, I promise kiddo."

Miles coughed slightly to bring Ryder's attention back to the room. "We're just worried about you but if you want to live with him then do it. It's your time to be on your own." When Elizabeth opened her mouth to object Miles put a hand on her knee and shook his head.

Elizabeth scoffed at walked towards the not-so-secret spot that they kept the booze, for people who were so concerned with Ryder's sobriety they didn't bother doing the steps that they should take in the home. "I'm gonna go pack," Ryder mumbles and walks up the stairs towards his room.

He doesn't bother closing the door behind him because he knows some family member is going to barge their way into the room anyway, Ryder squats and feels around under the bed for his duffle bag, the bag he used to hide his liquor in but he wasn't using it for alcohol but clothes.

Ryder huffed as he started dragging out some clothes from his drawers and tossing them into his bag, he was focus on folding he just wanted to fit as much as he can into the bag. A knock on the door broke Ryder out of his trance. "Come in," Ryder murmured even though the door was open, even though the door was open Miles liked to knock anyway. Privacy was a big thing to him and respecting it was even bigger.

"Need help?" Miles asks nodding to the pile of clothes on top of Ryder's bag. Ryder wordlessly nodded so Miles started folding the clothes. "Whatever is going on that is making you move, I hope you work through it."

Ryder raised his head shocked, he opened his mouth but closed. "I can't tell you anything right now, but maybe one day." Ryder hoped that was enough, a soft pat on his shoulder told him it was enough for his father.

Klaus told him, instead of meeting him at the mansion to meet them at a cabin. Klaus said it was urgent, that Alison's life might be in danger.

When the taxis pulled up to the cabin the siblings just got there, Klaus didn't bother explaining to Ryder just somehow he knew what was inside wasn't going to pretty.

As Ryder walked into the house heard Klaus gasp and moved closer to Ryder holding on to him tightly, that's when he saw it. Alison was lying in a pool of blood with Luther over her holding her body. "Call help now," Ryder screamed, he regretfully moved Klaus away from him.

He's never done this before but he can try. "Hey, buddy. You need to let go, I can help her." Ryder talked to Luther softly, he's never cared for the man before but he was hurting right now. Even though Ryder wouldn't under their relationship he knew Luther cared for Alison a lot.

"What are you gonna do?" Luther asks stepping back slightly but holding on to Alison's hand. Ryder ignored her in favor of looking at Alison. "Hey, this might hurt a little bit but it will help okay." Alison gave a timid nod.

Ryder closed his eyes and let the warmth heat his hands. "Hold her down." Ryder was directing the instruction to Luther which he did with regret in his eyes.

Ryder let the heat hold in his palm, he placed his palm over the cut to cauterize the wound. It would be enough until help came.
