Ryder stayed the night with Klaus, it wasn't just to give him the peace of mind that Klaus was okay but he also was worried about Klaus. He didn't say anything last night after they tried to get Luther to come home, and he hasn't spoken to Ryder since they've gotten up. "I'm gonna make us some breakfast," Ryder said knowing he wouldn't get a response to the man who was curled up on the bed next to Ryder facing the wall but Ryder could hope right?

Ryder sighed as he slipped on his slippers, he was almost out the door when a voice stopped him in his tracks. "Please don't go." Klaus timidly said, Ryder turned around and looked at the bed. What he saw broke his heart in two, Klaus had turned over to face Ryder and his eyes were tearstained which told Ryder he's been silently crying all night. "Oh babe, did you get any sleep?" Ryder accidentally let the pet name out but Klaus didn't give any indication that he heard Ryder or minded.

"Barely, I had dreams all night. Memories, couldn't get his face out of my head." Ryder carefully walked back towards the bed and toed his slippers off before getting on the bed facing Klaus. "Dave?" Ryder guessed, he was right because Klaus's face fell as he timidly nodded, Ryder guided Klaus's head towards his chest and he placed a soft kiss on his hair.

Ryder comfortingly rubbed Klaus's head as he breathed heavily, he was probably thinking about Dave, Ryder guessed to himself. "What else did you see? When the guy threw you over his shoulder." Something told Ryder that Klaus saw two different things last night. "I saw my Dad, he was at a barbershop. He told me some cryptic things." Ryder could sense that Klaus didn't want to talk about it so he let it go and just held Klaus for as long as he needed.

Ryder doesn't know how long they've been laying there wrapped in each other's arms before Klaus starts squirming. "I want to get up, I'm hungry." That's when Ryder hears it, the quiet rumble of Klaus's stomach. "Meet in the kitchen?" Ryder suggested as he pulled away from Klaus slowly. "Hm yeah, I'm gonna go wake up Luther." Klaus had a mischievous look on his face but Ryder didn't want any part of it so he got up. "Don't do anything too harsh okay?" Klaus smirked and nodded, suddenly he leaned forward and kissed Ryder on the lips. When Klaus pulled back Ryder was speechless, but before he could say anything Klaus walked out of his room. "What the fuck?" Ryder muttered as he walked downstairs towards the kitchen.

Five was just arriving in the kitchen when Ryder got there, but he didn't say anything. Ryder sat down at the table, he could still feel Klaus's lips on his like a ghost. Soon the door clicked, and in walked Klaus with Luther trailing behind him.

Ryder glanced at Klaus but Klaus wasn't looking at him, he just started on the coffee. So Ryder looked at Luther, who had a blanket wrapped over his head and he looked terrible no doubt coming down from the effects of the pill he took.

Klaus carried the coffee press over to the table along with the coffee mugs. "Here we go, that'll fix ya." Klaus poured the coffee into the cup, as Luther was going to grab it Five swooped in stealing the cup right before him. Ryder smirked as they all watched Five take a sip.

"Jesus, who do I gotta kill to get a decent cup of coffee?" Five muttered frowning at the taste of his coffee, Ryder made a face and gently pushed the coffee in front of him away. "Can we get started?" Luther said rubbing his head picking up the new cup that Klaus poured and brought it to his lips.

Klaus looked around the room and everyone was notably aware of the absence. "Has anyone seen any of the others? Diego? Allison?" Klaus looked around the room sending Ryder a glance. "No?" Klaus said when everyone shook their heads. "All right, this is the closest thing to a quorum that we're gonna get." Klaus bangs on the table making Luther groan.

"There's no easy way to say this, so I'm just gonna spit it out." Klaus looked at Five and Luther nervously, Ryder itched to hold out his hand to give Klaus some comfort but he held back. "Klaus," Luther said when Klaus didn't say anything.

"I conjured Dad last night." Both Luther and Five looked between each other before looking back at Klaus. "I thought you said you haven't been able to conjure anyone in years." Klaus nodded. "Yes, I know, but I'm sober, ta-da!" Klaus did jazz hands. "I got clean, yesterday to talk to someone special, then I ended up having this conversation with dear old Daddy himself.

Luther sighed and got up making the table wobble from his strength. "Has anyone got some aspirin?" Ryder piped up for the first time since they all got into the kitchen. "Top shelf, next to the crackers." When everyone looked at Ryder weirdly he felt the need to defend himself. "What? I've been around a lot lately."

"Hey, Hey, this is serious all right?" Klaus brought the attention back towards the issue at hand. "This really happened, I swear" Ryder leaned up and defended Klaus. "I know it happened, I saw it happen. I saw the look on his face once he came out of the conjuring."

Ryder knew that no one believed them but Five humored them anyway. "Alright, I'll play. What did the old man have to say?" Klaus reached towards Ryder who got the hint and reached back, it seems their awkward kiss would be forgotten about for now. "Well, he gave me the usual lecture about my appearance and my failures in life. He mentioned something about his murder, or lack thereof because he killed himself." Ryder gasped in shock but it seemed Luther didn't believe him because he got up. "I don't have time for your games Klaus."

"I'm telling you the truth, Luther." Klaus pleaded with Luther. "Why'd he do it then?" Five asked curiously. "He said it was the only way to get us all home again."

Luther pointed his finger at Klaus. "I swear to god Klaus if you are lying." Klaus put his hands up. "I'm not-" His pleading was cut off by Pogo walking into the room. "Master Klaus is correct, regretfully I helped Master Hargeeves enact his plan."
