could you play it for me?
San was bored. He was anxiously waiting for his tedious college classes to finish so that he could go to his piano lesson.
He had been attending these classes for about seven months, and Choi could say that they had been the best and most fun months of his life. At first they were a bit boring, it was always the same, but one day a new student joined the class and San was enchanted by the boy's beauty and talent.
Jung Wooyoung was his name.
Wooyoung had recently moved to Busan, and after getting into college he looked for something to do in his spare time, so he decided to take piano lessons, his favorite instrument.
Everything began calmly, until the moment when he began to feel watched, and then he set his eyes on San, his classmate, and when he saw the Korean's gaze directed at him, Wooyoung let out the breath he didn't even know he was holding.
San was so... beautiful, so captivating!
The days went by, and Wooyoung only wanted to befriend Choi more to get to know him better, but every time he noticed San looking at him, his heart raced and he looked away in shame.
Could he fall in love with San without even knowing him properly?

It was Saturday. San had woken up around ten o'clock in the morning to meet one of his best friends, Yunho, and then go to his piano lesson. The only day he didn't have piano lessons was Sunday.
He got ready quickly and left the house to go to the garden near his house, texting Jeong to find out where he was and when he heard where his friend was, San went there.
— Hi Yun.
— Hey San, how have you been? — his friend asked, after the brunette sat down next to him.
— Well, these months have been good, and how are you?
— Everything's normal. So, have you tried talking to that boy from your piano lessons? — Yunho asked, now looking at his friend.
— Not yet, yun. But I think I'll ask him out today...
— Yes! Ask him!! He'll certainly accept. — Yunho said smiling, supporting his friend. He wanted San to be happy, and he knew how much Choi had a crush on his classmate.
The two of them chatted for a while longer until San realized he had his class in a few minutes. He got up and said goodbye to Yunho, heading for the small studio where he had his piano lessons.
When he got there, he greeted all his classmates and teacher, as he usually did. He sat at his desk, waiting for his lesson to start, and meanwhile watched Wooyoung, who was looking at him from afar.

The class ended around five in the afternoon. Wooyoung, as usual, was helping the teacher put away the material used in class and San saw his little cue to talk to Jung. He put his small backpack down by the door and walked over to Wooyoung, who was tidying up one of the keyboards and helped him carry it to its place, standing in silence, just looking at him and smiling sweetly at the boy.
When they had finished tidying up, Wooyoung sat down for a while in front of one of the pianos, looking at the keys and then at Choi. San walked towards him and sat down next to him, smiling like a fool.
— I love hearing and seeing you play the piano.
The younger man froze when he heard San's words and briefly thought his heart had stopped beating.
San loved listening to him and watching him play the piano? Had he listened correctly?
— You... love it? — He looked at the boy and saw him nodding, smiling slightly.
— Yes. Could you... play it for me?
And Wooyoung did.
He smiled at every sound he heard and noticed, even though he wasn't looking at him, that San was smiling too.
When the little tune stopped, they both looked at each other, their hearts racing.
How San was in love with Wooyoung.
How Wooyoung loved every part of San.
— Well... hum... will you go out with me today? — Somewhat nervously, San asked, seeing Jung smile once again.
— Of course, I'd love to, San.
San felt so happy at that moment that on impulse he hugged Wooyoung. They held each other for a few seconds until they separated and finished packing everything they needed.
When everything was in place, they left the small studio and Wooyoung called an uber to get home quicker so he could get ready and then go out with Choi, and San kept him company so the younger boy wouldn't be alone.
They were both excited about the meeting.
A few minutes of waiting and the uber arrived, Wooyoung looked at the older man and smiled, approaching him and placing a light kiss on the brunette's cheek.
San smiled and opened the uber door for Jung to get in, then walked home, excited to go out with the younger man. He was anxious to be able to confess everything he felt to Wooyoung.
