It was safe to say Annais Min was under a lot of fucking pressure. Now, on top of that, throw in yet another blasted quest with the stakes being the future of every demigod, and then some typical teenage bullshit in the form of a beautiful blonde-haired boy who Annais wanted but shouldn't have, and you had the perfect remedy for a tale of damnation.

But unlike the typical 'war-torn protagonist who got what she wanted in the end' storyline that everyone saw in the movies, Annais Min was already knocking on the burning doors of Hell, with only one way out.
