Alana looks up from her phone, noting that the pizzeria was nowhere near as packed as it was 40 minutes ago, a great deal of the rush merely passing through. The booth they occupied was now a graveyard of half-eaten plates of shared appetizers stacked in the middle, surrounded by cups of melting ice and an empty pitcher. Their check had been taken care of while a few bills and change sat slotted beneath one of the cups for their server.

The side of the booth where Jade once sat was now empty, the third of their trio being the first to call it a night. No one questioned where she was going since she just stated that she was tired and that she'd see them later.

Beside her, Alesha was doing the same she was, on her phone texting mindlessly and sipping what was left of her drink.

Since leaving Joe's, Alana's car was silent apart from her music. Alesha had been nose deep in her phone the entire ride back on campus and by the time the dorms were in view, Alana had to ask.

"You sure you're alright?" she steals a look at her passenger, checking her mirror before turning into their parking lot.

"Hmm?" Alesha turns to her with her lips tucked against each other. Alana chuckled at the oblivious sound as she cruised through the several rows of student's cars in search of an empty spot.

"Who got you all quiet over there? Jimin? Or this new boy. What's his name?" she mumbles distractedly, turning down her music the second she sees a free spot. She backs into it between two other cars, focusing on not hitting the curb with the tip of her tongue poking out between her lips.

She switches into park with a sigh and looks over at Alesha still engulfed in a text conversation, realizing she hadn't responded to her question.

Alana stares at her for a bit, waiting for her to notice, but the silence in her car prevails.

"Alesha Antionette!" she snaps when she can't take being ignored any longer and Alesha flinches against the car door with wide eyes.

"Huh? Who the hell?" she gasps at the random name but Alana remains just as wide-eyed and expectant from the driver's seat. She pouts her lips, trying hard not to crack a smile.

"You didnt hear me?" Alana puts on her best scowl and the corners of Alesha's mouth droop obliviously.

"You were talking?"

"Bitch I've been talking and looking at you for the past 30 minutes." she huffs, pulling her phone from between her legs. Her thumbs moved angrily over her screen as she typed.

Her keys jiggle loudly when she moves to open the door but pause when she notices Alana not budging, her eyes fixed on her phone.

"You coming? Since you all in my ass tonight?" She looks at her with a curious frown and Alana smiles but obviously not at Alesha's snarkiness. She wipes it from her face when she notes her roommate's interest and acts casual as she finishes her text.

"Um...naw. Yoongi wanted me to ride with him somewhere so Im just.."

"Oop. Say less. See you tomorrow." Alesha cuts her off and acts as if she's rushing to go, jiggling the door handle like she's trapped.

Alana's nose turns up and she laughs at the dramatics as she taps the lock on her door, unlocking all doors for Alesha to escape.

"You're irritating. Bye.." she continues to laugh and Alesha bows back into the car and gives her a teasing look.

"And you ain't fooling no damn body. Tell him I said hi." She winks, backing away and closing the car door. As she steps on the curb, Alana sticks her head out of her window to yell.

"And you Tell Jimin or whoever I said hi too.! Witcha fast ass.."

Alesha tosses a middle finger over her shoulder in response, walking briskly on the lighted path leading towards their row of buildings.
