Zap and Nuclei walked slowly along the frosty bank. They gazed out in the distance where ice stretched as far as they could see.

"This winter is crazy this year," Nuclei whispered. Zap nodded, walking a bit slower. Nuclei noticed this and slowed to his pace. The small bracelet around her front left leg gleamed brightly in the moon's light.

"What do you think the king'll do?" Zap asked. Nuclei face Zap, confused.

"About what? The winter?" Nuclei joked. Zap shook his head. "No, the ice. It looks too thick to break through. We wouldn't be able to get the fish." Zap looked at Nuclei's sparkling purple eyes with alarm.

Nuclei shook her head. "I wouldn't think about, if I were you." She looked forward again.

Zap, frustrated, quickly thought of a conversation he could start with her. He looked around frantically. They only walked a few yards when Nuclei looked back at him.

"Is something wrong? Do you see something?" Nuclei said, alarmed. Zap stopped looking around.

"Uhhh.... No nothing's wrong. Hey, that's a cool bracelet." Zap noticed her gleaming bracelet.

Nuclei looked down, and took off her bracelet. On a closer inspection, the bracelet was made of clear glass balls, and inside those clear glass balls, were amethyst crystals.

"Thanks. The General himself gave it to me a long time ago." Nuclei responded.

Zap eyes widened. "The General! Wow, can I hold it?" He asked.

Nuclei at first was confused, but calmed after a bit at what he was trying to do. She laughed silently and put out a talon with the bracelet rapped around it.

Zap walked forward but instantly slipped at some ice. He knocked into Nuclei with an, "Oof!" Her front legs flailed as she was knocked down to the cold, frozen ground.

"Three moons, Zap!" Nuclei chuckled. Zap blushed. "Sorry," Zap said.

As Nuclei got up, she gasped. "My bracelet! Where is it?" She started whipping around frantically.

"Cow turds, this is my fault." Zap sighed.

"Don't apologize now! Help me find it!" Nuclei growled. Zap winced, but went right to work.  His eyes searched slowly across the frozen ground, but didn't see anything. That was until he saw a gleam on the frozen ocean surface.

"I'll get it!" Zap hipped.

Nuclei must have noticed it too, because she yelled, "No, wait! You'll break through the-" but it was too late. There was a cracking sound as Zap leaped onto the ice, and he fell through it.

Well, that took me longer to write then expected, but the drawing was worth it. That took me about 2-3 hours to draw.

Btw these two, Zap and Nuclei are apart of the Lightwings. The Lightwings were made by __Thunder__ , my brother, and I. You may remember my main Lightwing OC, Plasma, the General in this story.
