"Did your advice helped you with Rehan?"

Sanaa was silent in response to that.

"No." She replied honestly. "I can't help but get affected by him, by every small action of his. I still do. But then I, rather we, made sure that we are completely honest to each other. The amount of trust and respect we have for each other is the basis of our relationship. He supported me when I needed him the most and I was there for him at the most crucial moment of his life. We have hurt each other but we knew it every time thay we can't give up." Sanaa explained.

"But what if it's only one person fighting instead of two?" Vaish asked.

Sanaa looked at Vaish painfully but decided to answer it honestly for she owe it to her best friend.

"Then you have to give up Vaish." She said and Vaish blinked her eyes."Because as beautiful as it sounds; one sided efforts hurt and at one point the hurt gets too much. Our happiness matters, Vaish. We owe it to us."

"That being said, it doesn't mean you have to stop feeling. Just stop expecting and start preparing yourself for the future. And miracles happen. People change and so do their opinions. Mine and Rehan's story is an example in itself. So never loose hope." Sanaa said.

Vaish nodded her head feeling much more better amd clearer on the matter than before.

"I love you, Shenu. Don't know what I will do without you." Vaish said and Sanaa smiled.

"It must be the good deed of your previous birth that you are blessed with my presence in your life. Don't forget to thank God for that." Sanaa said in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere.

"And people say I'm Drama Queen! They should have a look at you." Vaish mocked her.

"What could I say? Your company is rubbing off on me." Sanaa shrugged and they both laughed forgetting the previous tension.

Sanaa was called inside and Vaish can't help but actually thank God for giving her such an understanding family and friends. Who helped her without judging her or asking any questions.

Like for now Sanaa might have curiousity regarding the person Vaish was talking about but she didn't ask it and even if she had some doubts regarding her and Abhay she didn't confronted Vaish; giving her time and privacy to tell about it herself.

She was blessed to have her and was now more than curious to meet the man who has won the heart of her bestie.

Both Vaish and Sanaa were in full form and took the complete control of the preparations and the result was amazing.

"Vaish I think we should go and get ready now. The party will start in an hour. We should be back before that." Sanaa said and Vaish nodded agreeing with her and both of them left for getting ready.

"Shenu." Vaish suddenly stopped her and Sanaa looked at her questioningly.

"Tell everyone that this party was Rehan and your idea and I just helped a little." Vaish said and Sanaa was surprised but nodded and left.

He will realise if he has little bit of sense. Sanaa thought.

Sanaa knew that Vaish was talking about Abhay. She noticed the growing closeness between two of them but thought of them as close friends. Today's conversation however gave her an idea that something is going between these two.

For Vaishali Khanna never talks so deeply nor does she organises surprise parties like that.

She was worried because both Vaish and Abhay were her close friends and hoped that they realise whatever it is between them.

She would hate to choose between either of them and she can't see them angry or hurt; for she was the one who introduced them to each other.

She just prayed that everything goes well.

Vaish finally looked at the mirror and was satisfied with the outcome.

She entered the venue and put the mask on her face.

Eyes confident, chin up, stomach inside and charming smile. She was all set for the party and took a seat in the corner not wanting to be caught by anyone.

Abhay got Rehan's message inviting him to some place for dinner as per their tradition every year.

He wasn't all excited for it because he still hadn't talked to his Fireball. He wanted to do that but something was stopping him. He even went to her apartment but it was locked up. He wondered where she was but then realised that she might be with her friends. It wasn't like he was her only friend in Mumbai. Infact with a charming personality like hers, many people have become her friends.

Suddenly he felt jealous of the presence of others in her life. The idea of her giving importance to people other than him, didn't settle well with him.

Damn.

He was behaving irrationally.

Perhaps he really needed to go out and meet his friends so as to remove her from his mind. Thinking that he got ready for the dinner. He knew it was a posh place so he dressed accordingly and left for the venue.

"Why should a beautiful lady like you be sitting her alone?" Vaish heard for the umpteenth time and was going to ignore this guy to but looked up to see a pair of chocolatey brown eyes behind a black mask and immediately recognised the person behind it, for Sanaa has taken the masks along with her and she knew for sure it was Rehan.

"May be because she doesn't want to mingle in the crowd." She said and smirked playing the game along with him.

"Can I be of help in removing her loneliness?" He asked.

"Should I teach your daughter this thing too?!" Vaish replied and Rehan slowly realised who it was.

"Vaish? I didn't know it was you." Rehan asked.

"You were thinking of flirting with someone else?" Now Vaish asked fiercely.

"I... No it was not like that!" Rehan tried to explain but was cut off by Vaish who was now in total dramatic mood to lash at him for flirting with unknown girls behind Sanaa's back!

"Listen you Mr. Rehan Irfan Siddiqui! You might be a big hot shot CEO who is the Greek God for so many girls but if you hurt my friend then I'll forget how good of a CEO you are and how you made your company number one! I won't even care about your amazing decision making abilities!

Don't you dare to flirt with any women ever behind my friend's back! You man... what do you think that we woman are weak and won't raise our voice against such things! Not happening Mr. CEO! Times have changed now and women are at par with men.

Now I will make Shenu flirt with other men in front of you and then ask you how it feels?" Vaish said in a breath and Rehan looked behind her to call someone who can help him.

Sanaa who was standing behind her, came there laughing after listening to her friend's threatening words and her husband's shocked face.

"No Vaish. It isn't what you are thinking." Came the voice of an amused Sanaa and Vaish turned to see her laughing.

"Actually, Rehan had this doubt about how deep our friendship was from the day when you sent me he keys of my suitcase. He was even jealous of your note thinking it to be some secret admirer of mine.

Today also I told him about us and again I saw him being doubtful. I didn't tell him anything at that time but thought to give him a live example and that's why I dared him to go and flirt with the girl in the black, that's you but he didn't know that and so he came under the trick!" Sanaa explained and both of them looked at her shocked at her idea.

"Shenu!"

"Angel!"

Both of them shouted simultaneously but then one look at her and all of them started laughing.

"So Vaish and Rehan let me introduce you guys formally." Sanaa said but Vaish shook her head.

"No need. I know him. He is Rehan Irfan Siddiqui. The CEO of Siddiqui Group of Industries who is handling the company from past four years and took it to new heights. Recently SGI reached the top position. He is thirty year old, not so media friendly and slightly introvert person who loves his family dearest and calls my best friend Angel which sounds too cheesy to some but I practically swoon at it." Vaish said in one breath and Sanaa just shook her head.

Rehan was looking at her like she had two horns on her head.

"What? I practically stalked him for you. You think that I will let my friend stay married to someone without investigating him. He could be a serial killer!" Vaish screamed and both Sanaa and Rehan laughed.

"You are really something else; Vaish. I thought my wife was exaggerating, when she described you as Drama Queen but now I know that she is right." Rehan said.

Sanaa had this I-told-you-so look on her face while Vaish was just shaking her head.

"See this lady here is a very good friend of me. So she gives me too much credit. I agree that I'm the centre of attraction of every place I go and very beautiful, smart and intelligent person but she need not to brag it to everyone." Vaish said in a dramatic tone and Rehan became a fan of hers in that instant.

She was a perfect match for that dramatic friend of his.

Abhay,I found the girl who will outsmart your drama skills and I'm officially in her team against you. You are so gone my friend. He thought and called the waiter to serve the drinks to ladies.

He received a message from Abhay informing him that he would reach ths venue in ten minutes.

"Ladies, the birthday boy just messaged. He will be here in ten minutes. So let go and make the announcement for all people to be silent and wait for his arrival. Come with me." Rehan informed and while Sanaa had a smile on her face; Vaish's face paled.

She wasn't ready to face Abhay.

She organised the party but she didn't want to face him. She was planning to wish him behind her mask and leave after that.

Sanaa noticed her friend's discomfort and said, "Yes Rehan. Let's go now. Vaish you finish your drink and come whenever you're comfortable."

Vaish nodded in relief and Rehan even though confused went along with his Angel.

Rehan was no fool. The moment Vaish called him to organise a surprise party for Abhay he knew something was going between these two. They were more than just friends. He felt like Vaish would be a perfect match for his friend.

He also saw the changes in Abhay after he started working with Vaish. Abhay was becoming more punctual about his work and more responsible. He hoped that these two always support each other like that.

"Angel, are you think what I'm thinking?" He asked.

"And what are you thinking?" Sanaa asked in an amused tone. She knew that he has the same suspicions as her.

"You know me too well Angel to ask that question." He replied and Sanaa just smiled.

"You are right as always but I am not sure about anything. About Vaish you know ... " Sanaa left the sentence incompleted.

"Huh! That is there. Also Abhay is now dealing with issues with his aunt." He said and Sanaa nodded sadly, thinking about the fate of their two friends.

"So do we do something now ?" She asked him.

"Yes. We will be the friends they need the most and support them fully in whatever decision they take." Rehan said in a sincere tone and Sanaa's eyes swelled with proud at his understanding.

"I love you." She said and kissed his cheek.

"Love you too, Angel." He said and took her to an empty corner for kissing her properly.

She smiled in the kiss but ended it fastly.

"This wasn't a proper kiss Angel!" He whined.

"After party, Mr. Arrogant." She whispered near his ears and kissed him there.

Rehan grinned like a cheshire cat and nodded eagerly.

"He better acknowledge all our efforts for the party!" He said and Sanaa laughed.

"He will. You will make sure of that,  the person who organised the event gets the full credit." She said with a hidden message in her tone.

"You want me too?" He asked understanding that she was talking about Vaish's efforts.

"I promised her that I won't tell everyone but Abhay needs to know. Not from us but he should know." Sanaa said.

"I promise you that my best friend will realise your best friend's importance. That's the least we can do for them." He said with determination in his eyes and they walked out of there to make the announcement regarding Abhay's arrival.

So, how will it all work out?

Will Abhay realise Vaish's efforts? Will Vaish give up and Will he apologise? What will be the fate of these two?

And Rehan's encounter with Vaish? Wasn't it a site to watch?

Everyone around these two knows expect they themselves! Don't worry!

The guy who is running from commitment all his life will soon realise its importance! But will it be too late?
