Unfortunately the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting.

Andrew's P.O.V

I heaved a deep sigh. Just thinking about Hayley and my past with her, make me damn furious. I can't even imagine, people like her exist in this world.

Or to be precise, mother like her.

"Tell me only if you are comfortable." Clea said.

"No, its fine. I want to open each page of my life book before I start a new one with you. And this one is important." I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and continued.

"When I left my family and went to take the training in Canada, I met her. I met Hayley. Beautiful was an understatement, she was gorgeous. Her sea- blue eyes were so mesmerising. I Instantly fell for her. Now that I look back, that was one of my biggest mistakes. And the very first mistake in this story. Slowly, I approched her, we became friends. Then I asked her out. We used to spend a lot of time with each other. After 3 months of hanging out as friends, she confirmed her love to me, so did I. And that was my second mistake when I asked her to be my girlfriend."

"It was one of our mutual friend Nicholas' birthday party. Nic, being a spoiled rich brat, threw a lavishing party. We all were enjoying a lot. A LOT. Drinking, smoking, even strippers were invited too. I too was drunk. And in that drunken state, I made my third mistake. I slept with her. She was the one making the first move and I couldn't stop myself and had s*x. When I woke up next day with a hangover, I couldn't believe what I did the other night. But it happened."

"That was the only time I slept with her, because I was feeling guilty. I was feeling like I used her. Days passed, and Neither of us talked about that night. I actually forgot about it."

"The rumours were spreading like fire stating that Hayley was being a slut , sleeping with other men. But I didn't believed those because I believed her. But it was untill I witnessed her seducing Nic with my own eyes. I was watching them discreetly therefore they were umknown of my presence. I didn't want to jump on any conclusion, therefore, I was there, watching them for good 5 minutes whuch prooved their mutual agreement on whatever they were doing. Just in time I made my presence clear to them and confronted both of them."

"I am sorry Andrew. I didn't kno-"

"Story hasn't finished yet!

I was surprised when Hayley approached me the very next day, claiming my love. Nerves of that girl! After what she did yesterday, she wants me to continue! Disgusting. But little did I know, the word disgusting will rose up to another level in the coming days."

FLASHBACK

Hayley approached Andrew

"Why are you ignoring me Andrew. Please don't do it. Its not good."

"Stop it Hayley. Just stop. Whatever I saw yesterday was enough for me. Don't start your bullsh*t again. Leave right now."

"Its not like what you sa-"

"Ooh please Hayley. I was there for good 5 minutes. Because I trusted you and I didn't want to jump on conclusions. But...." I heaved a dee sigh and continue.

"Leave Hayley. Please. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE."

She flinched a little due to my authoritative tone. But she continued.

"Please Andrew forgive me. I was not me that time. If not for me, please give me another chance for our unborn child. Please." She said giving emphasis on last 2 words.

"What are you talking Hayley. What unborn child? Don't think you can blackmail me using your stupid slutty ideas."

"Its true Andrew. That night, on Nic's birthday, this foetus was formed Andrew. If you don't believe me, accompany me to the doctor and see yourself."

I couldn't believe My ears. No matter how much I hate her. But if that child is really mine, I'll take every responsibility even if I have to do it alone.

When we reached there, I straight forward asked doctor about the paternity test. But to my great dismay, She said, since its been only 3 weeks and little complications due to her drinking habit, they can't do it right away.

But what caught my attention was,  3 WEEKS. I calculated and it turned out to be the day of Nic's birthday.

With my heavy heart, I forgave her, and started doing whatever was necessary for a father to do.

But that girl, couldn't control her drinking habit, even for the sake of her unborn child.

END OF FLASHBACK

"My world turned upside down when one day, drunk Nicholas came to doorstep, confronting Hayley about how she just threw him out of her life just because his parents disowned him and now he didn't have money. Not only this, he also claimed that he was the father of the child. At first I didn't beleived him but when I gave it a thought, I decided for the paternity test now. And it turned out that Nic was right. Hyley was just using me."

"I immediately broke all the ties with her, which she couldn't handle, and drowned herself into alcohol which resulted in miscarriage. She left NewYork after that, and not been seen since." I concluded heaving a deep sigh.

"How can someone be so cruel, mean and disgusting." Clea said in total disbelief.

"So, this was my past. But I want to look forward now. Lets bygones be bygones. I want to have a future with you Clea. If you are ready."

"I really like you Andrew, but I don't want to rush in a relationship. Lets give each other enough time to know each other really well. Hope you understand." She said pouting a little.

"Ofcourse Clea. As you say. I am here only."

After that, we continued talking about the general stuff and all.

It was already 05:00 in the evening when we realised that we skipped our lunch.

We went to a near by restaurant and eat our food, then I dropped her to her place before going to mine.

Right now, I am here, lying on my bed, thinking about my future with Clea. I know, its really early, but I can't help it. I feeling so lucky to get a chance with her. The imagination continued till sleep engulfed me.

Days passed by and we both grew really close to each other. We told each other about our likes dislikes, future plans, etc. And yes, How can I forget her priceless expression when I told her about my chocolate obsession that day.

We were in a restaurant for a breakfast ordering our food.

"A chocolate shake with.....umm...chocolate lasagne. What will you have Clea?"

"I am good with sweet tea and blue berry pancakes." She said.

After the waiter left, she started staring me amusedly.

"What are you staring at? Huh?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just wondering about something."

"Mind telling me?"

"Oh yes....ofcourse. so....chocolate chocolate everywhere, so much you order,but never care to share.!"

I can't help but to laugh at her poetry which was really bad. But somehow it was so cute from her mouth.

"You know, you don't have to ask if you want some. Just take it."

"Nah....I am not asking sharing chocolate. I am asking for sharing why only chocolate!" She said emphasising on 'only'.

"Ohh. You know, I just can't live without chocolate. That's why...its only chocolate." I said mimicking her tone.

"Omg! Did you just replaced me with that god damn chocolate." She said pouting.

"Aww...poor you. But you never got replaced because chocolate is always at no. One." I said playfully, which made of us laugh like we would die if we didn't laugh.

A small smile crept on my face just thinking about that moment. Well just to remind, its Sean's graduation tomorrow, and I am so glad, that he is flying back as soon as he will be free from there. We'll be having the graduation dinner here, in California. Everthing is already planned. I am really excited to meet my brother after so long!
