"Mhm, only one. Nothing more. My boss will be angry with me if I'm late on my first day," I teased Mason.

He pulled me in closer, "I'm sure he won't mind."

Just as our lips were touching, I suddenly felt sick. Very sick. I felt something rushing out of my stomach and oh no...

I ran to the bathroom. 

Vomit. 

"Faith, you okay, baby?" Mason ran after me, holding my hair back.

"I don't feel good at all." 

"Are you sick? Should I call Amanda?" Mason asked, concerned.

"No, I mean, she'll just say it's normal for a pregnant woman."

Pregnant... 

I thought about the last time I got my period. It's been 2 months. I didn't think anything of it because, at times, my period can be a little off schedule. But, could I be... could I really be pregnant...?

"Maybe you shouldn't go to work today?" Mason suggested, holding me in his arms.

"Yeah, maybe not..."

"I'm heading out but call me if you feel sick again, okay?"

I nodded in response. Mason gave me a quick kiss and left for work. I waited for him to leave so I could head out and buy a pregnancy test. I had to know.

"Where are you going, sweetie?" Hailey asked behind me as I was leaving.

"Oh, just... out. Shopping. I need new... bras! Because... um."

"Oh, darling, I know what you mean. Don't worry. Would you like m to accompany you?"

"No!" I blurted, "I mean... It'll only take me 5 minutes. I'll be back." 

I smiled at her and left quickly before she could convince me to join in. I asked one of Mason's drivers to drive me to the nearest CVS. It was closer than I thought. I quickly purchased a pregnancy test and a few bras so Hailey wouldn't suspect anything. 

"I'm home," I greeted Hailey who was enjoying her cup of coffee.

"That was quick," Hailey remarked, as she greeted me back.

"Yeah, I'm going to be upstairs, resting," I informed her and ran upstairs. Curiosity was killing me. I had to know.

Was I really pregnant? And would this game become real if I was...?

There was only one way to find out.
