FAITH

"Uh..? Mason?" I called. 

"UNCLE MASON IS STILL IN THE SHOWER. HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT A BONE BUT I DON'T KNOW. FAITH?! CAN YOU JUST TAKE ME OUT OF THE BATH!" Gabe yelled from his bathroom. 

"Jesus, kid. I can hear you. No need to scream your lungs out."

What is a bone..? Holy shit! Did he tell Gabe he had a boner?! Poor, innocent Gabe...

"Uh, Gabriel. I'm in my towel so no sneaky pranks, okay?" 

I could hear his giggle as I started walking to his bathroom. After rinsing him out and wrapping him in his towel, Gabriel ran straight to get changed. 

My eyes followed him, leading to Mason, leaning on the door frame. 

Smirking. 

"Were you just watching?" I ask, annoyed.

"Yeah. The view was fine." he noted. 

"Ha! What view?" I asked. 

What kind of view would he be watching in the freaking bathroom?

"I had a pretty good view of your ass from here." 

"You fucking pervert. Give me clothes! Now! Jocelyn's going to kill me!"

He chuckled and signaled me to follow. Rummaging through his walk-in closet, Mason came back out with a huge t-shirt (which I'm guessing belongs to him) and leggings. 

Why does he have leggings..?

As if he read my mind, Mason answers my question, "I think some girl left it here and the maid washed it. Anyways, you can wear it. It's clean."

I rolled my eyes, "I'm surprised it isn't fucking ripped."

"Don't be jealous, sweetheart. She wasn't that good." 

"You're disgusting." I remark, leaving the room to change. 

As soon as I'm finished, I secretly hug Gabe and leave for my apartment. 

Hoping none of the girls were at home, I tried to sneak into my room. 

But, a very angry Hope and an even angrier Jocelyn was standing directly in front of me.

"Explain." was the only thing that came out.of their mouths until I was shoved into the couch. 

It was silent for a couple of minutes.

"Sometime today would be great." said Hope. 

I told them everything that happened yesterday, leaving out the part where we ended up cuddling in the morning. 

"So? Why aren't you in your clothes?" Jocelyn questioned.

"Well, mom. I needed to take a shower because I was covered in pancake mix. Since my clothes were also ruined, this was my only option." I explained. 

"Bitch, I don't need no attitude from you right now. You have no idea how scared we were. HOPE WAS ABOUTTA CALL 911!" Jocelyn ranted. 

"Alright, I'm so sorry. You two are right. I should have notified you. Pleasee, forgive me."

"Fine. We'll let you off easy this time. But there better be no next time." 

"That is handeled... NOW, TELL US THE REAL SHIT!"

"Yeahh, did you two have sex?!" 

The girls huddled in closer. 

"Oh, God. No. Let me remind, we had a 7-year-old with us."

"Damn it!"

"I mean, there were some emotiona--"

"What kind of emotional shit?!"

"Did you kiss?!"

"No.."

"Ugh. You spent the whole night with him and nothing juicy happened! I can't believe this!"

We heard a ding-noise from my bag. I looked at the two girls and smiled sheepishly. I took out my phone and looked at the text:

Where are you?

I smirked as I saw his text. 

"Ooh.. Is it Mason..?" both girls teased.

"Yeah. Nothing important. Listen, we'll talk more but I have to work on my case. I'm sorry. I love you two." I tried to get out of the situation.

I really did have to work on the case. The trial was in a few weeks and we needed to win this. Gabe couldn't live with those people. He didn't even know them. Hell, I just realized I needed more information on Olivia and Daniel. They didn't give me good vibes...

"Fine, we were going to meet with Angel, anyway. Suit yourself." Hope informed me as Jocelyn rolled her eyes.

I was missing out on girl time but I'd have to make it up later on.

I got right to work as they left.

Me being me, I needed food to work. Walking to the kitchen, I looked around everywhere for snacks.

Damn. I leave for one day and these girls finish all the snacks!

I sigh and take out ingredients to make brownies. A few minutes in, I decided to turn up some music to add excitement. Dancing around and making brownies, I never expected the sudden hand grabbing me from the behind.
