30. Yes

"Come on, Tiger. Live a little," Jung-kook prodded, breaking the awkward pause. "Aren't jungle cats supposed to be wild?"

"I don't even know what the deal is to agree to it," Taehyung remarked.

"Fine. Here's how this will go down: I'm going to give you a mission, and every time you finish it, I'll tell you something about me."

"That's still too vague. What if you tell me something I already know, like you're a dickhead?"

Jung-kook laughed. "Fair enough. To that end, you can request any information, and I may or may not answer in full. It depends, of course, on your performance upon completing those assignments."

"And what would these tasks be?"

"Now where's the fun in it if I let you find out beforehand? You simply have to take it as we go along. By all means, you can stop anytime you want, but then you relinquish all further chances of discovering who I am."

"I don't have time for this. What if you drag this out?"

"You're the one prolonging the inevitable; people are waiting."

"But...."

"Enough of this. How about putting a limit on it? Like five missions?"

"How about one?"

I must be mad to even consider it for a moment, Taehyung chided himself. The first call was out of courtesy, the second was an accident, so if he went along with the man's proposition, wouldn't the third be a deliberate mistake?

"Let's do three," Jung-kook decided.

"I'm still not sure this is such a great idea...."

"I think you're ready for your first assignment," Jung-kook interrupted.

"I..."

"Then I'll take that as a yes."
