Chapter 34

I saw Gee look at the text and burst into tears again. I tossed my phone aside and held him, caressing his cheek and kissing the top of his head.

"Shush, shh, it's okay, Princess," I whispered soothingly.

He shook his head and I frowned. I pulled away and gave him a quick kiss. I felt furious, at Brendon for doing this. I ran downstairs and could hear Gee following me as I ran. Brendon didn't live far and he should be home from school by now.

I got to his house and pounded on the front door. He opened the door, smirking when he saw me and looking passed me to Gee. I grabbed the front of his shirt and glared at him.

"How could you fucking do this?" I growled. "I deleted the picture, how'd you get it?"

"There's something called a recently deleted," Brendon reminded me. "I was just bored, I guess. Have you been crying? What are you, a fucking baby or something?"

"You're such a fucking ass," I spat.

"Hey, if he hadn't come along then you would be just like me, doing the exact same thing," Brendon said. "Why's he got the bruise? I haven't punched him recently. Is he still your punching bag like how he was before you were dating?"

I pulled him out of his house, throwing him down onto the grass.

"You're fucking sick!" I shouted.

I kicked him and heard Gee gasp. He held onto my hand as he cried quietly.

"Please don't," he whispered. "I don't like angry Frankie."

I glared at Brendon once more before walking away with Gee.

I walked down the hallway, finding Gee with Mikey. I hurried over to him and hugged him.

"Hey, you can't be here," Mikey stated.

"Mikey, please," Gee whimpered, his hands clinging to my shirt.

I pulled away and held his hand as we walked down a more crowded hallway. People stared at Gee as we went towards his class. Some started laughing, which resorted into everyone laughing. Gee's head hung in shame and I scowled.

"Why don't you keep your fucking eyes elsewhere before I make you regret looking at him," I warned loudly to the people staring.

Some people turned away, intimidated by me. Most people just laughed harder, letting out cat calls and wolf whistles. Mikey stood on Gee's other side as we tried to get him to class.

"What a whore!" Someone exclaimed.

"I didn't even know she--or he?--had a dick up her skirt!" Someone else added.

"Come over to my house and I can rock your fucking world," another person said.

"Oh my god, he looks so innocent I didn't know he was such a slut," another voice spoke up from the crowd.

Gee's eyes were tearing up at all the comments being thrown at him. We got to his class and stepped inside, where it was less crowded. I kissed his forehead quickly as he looked up at me.

"I'll be back here after class to get you, okay?" I asked and he nodded sadly. "Don't cry, baby. Just remember, soon you won't have to be with these people anymore."

Mikey nodded in agreement, although he probably thought it was because he was going back to boarding school soon. However, Gee and I had made plans to run away after school today. His backpack was full, but nothing inside it had to do with school. He'd emptied it out yesterday and filled it up with clothes, Flopsy, makeup, and anything else he'd need. Obviously, he brought lots of money because we'd have to buy a lot of stuff we can't carry with us. I have another one of his bags of stuff in my car that I took with me when I left his house.

"I love you," Gee said.

"I love you too, babydoll," I repeated.

I stepped out of class with Mikey. We gave each other a look before walking in opposite directions. We both knew we didn't like each other but we were willing to tolerate each other for Gee's sake. My first class was boring. I heard a scream, which isn't necessarily uncommon in public schools. Either just stupid kids fooling around or maybe the special ed students. I didn't even pay attention to the math as I thought about mine and Gee's plans.

I would drive us back to my house after school. I'd pack my things and grab anything else we need. Anything sentimental, any snacks or nonperishable foods. I know that Gee is bringing a picture of him and his family, just to look at when he misses them. He has wait until he's eighteen to be free from his parents' control. So, that means not seeing them for over a year. Gee says he's glad for it as long as we can be together happily. I myself had a photo of both my parents in my wallet, at my access anytime I need it. We were planning on heading towards California. Gee says he wants to live in Los Angeles so that's where we're going. At first he was thinking maybe going to Oregon, because he knows his way around there because he went to school there. However, he thought that maybe California would be cool because there could be celebrities and it would be nice and sunny like in movies. I didn't really care if we moved to Oregon or California, as long as I could be with Gee freely.

"Mr. Iero," someone called.

I looked up from my thoughts to the front of the class. Mrs. Jones, the principal, stood at there with a police officer by her side.

"I'm going to need you down in my office," she said.

People stared in shock as I stood up, slinging my bag over my shoulder and walking out of the class with them. The two were on either side of me as we went down the hall. I felt worry spread through me. Had someone found out about our plans to run away and got us in trouble? Did Gee tell someone about it? We got into the office and I sat in the seat in front of her desk, while she sat in her chair and the officer stayed by her side.

"It has come to my attention that a certain picture of a fellow student has been spread around the school," Mrs. Jones stated. "A picture that is rather...revealing."

The cop placed a printed out picture of Gee in front of me. I felt slightly awkward, my boyfriend's whole body being shown with nothing to hide while I looking at it with my principal and a stranger.

"Officer Lakeman would like to have a few words with you," she said.

She got up and left me with him as he took his spot in her seat.

"Now, this is your boyfriend, correct?" He asked.

I nodded my head. "I didn't take the photo, though. It was taken by Brendon Urie."

"Oh, we know," Officer Lakeman said. "He's with my partner right now. This is a serious offense, Gerard is underage and child pornography is a very bad thing."

"Well, why am I here?" I asked.

"Because Brendon said that you sent it with him," he said.

I raised my eyebrows, my heart skipping a beat in worry.

"I didn't send it, I would never," I denied. "He's my boyfriend, why the hell would I do that?"

"Well, we've been told about how you and Brendon used to be very close," he said. "And, Gerard used to be a target of bullying for your group of friends, actually, he still is a target."

"They aren't my friends anymore," I promised. "The only person I really talk to now is Gee and that's it. I wouldn't do something like this to him, that's so awful."

"In the picture Gee has clearly been up to some...fun," he remarked, clearing his throat. "Was that with you?"

I frowned. "Yeah, of course it was. Why does that matter for anything?"

"Just asking," he said, writing something down.

"Do Gee's parents know about the picture?" I asked, worried about how his parents might have reacted.

"Yes, they picked him up from school about ten minutes ago, as well as unenrolling him while they were here," he said and I felt my heart stop. "Let me tell you, that boy threw quite a fit in the office here. Kept crying and screaming for you. His dad had to hold him from running out of the room while his mother signed the papers. Donald even had to carry him out of the school to the car while Gerard still tried to get away."

I actually felt like I couldn't breathe. The room seemed to be getting smaller, I felt like he was a million miles away from me. They can't be taking him away from me already, we were supposed to run away together today. That must've been the scream I heard in class, it Gee trying to scream for me. I had just sat there, completely oblivious to Gee crying to me for help.

"Frank?" Officer Lakeman asked.

I looked up, feeling tears prick my eyes.

"Are we done?" I asked.

"You had nothing to do with this picture?" He asked.

I shook my head and he sighed, picking up the paper and putting it into a folder.

"Okay, we're done here," he confirmed.

I stood up straight away and headed out of the office to the main part of the office.

"Frank, you know you are allowed to take a leave from school since you're mother passed," Mrs. Jones said. "Nobody is forcing you here."

I walked passed her into the hallway. I started running, heading towards the exit as fast as I could. I got to my car, tossing my bag into the backseat as I drove off. I felt like if I didn't get there fast enough then he'd be gone. As I drove I had more time to think. Everything that seemingly could go wrong, is going wrong. More and more awful things just keep getting thrown at us. It was almost though everyone and everything was completely against our relationship. But no matter what happened, I would always keep fighting for him.
