Rainbow's End

What do you do when dark clouds come around?
And your whole world seems to sink
You try to force a smile
Knowing the end of the rainbow is closer than you think

Beware of all the false promises
There is no fabled pot of gold
You get from life what you put into it
You reap what you have sown

And the errors and mistakes you've made
No amount of gold can buy back
The things you cherished once in life
Are the things you now lack

There are sleeping shadows everywhere
Waiting for that ray of light
It's up to you to make the changes
Before the rainbow loses its light
